This bra is a winner for me! I have very wide root breasts, with a bit more fullness on bottom. Almost every bra I try I feel like the bra is shaping my breasts into a shape that they do not belong in, like all my breast tissue is being pushed, and directed into places it doesn't naturally go. Not so with this bra! The first moment I put it on, it just supported my girls without making them be something they weren't. I am incredibly happy with how comfortable this bra is for me, except right along my armpit where the cup ...cuts in a bit (but it's something I'm willing to see if I can get used to because of how great I feel everywhere else). The colour is excellent, I can wear it under tops that are lacy over the shoulders and the bra can't be seen. Overall I an very happy with this bra, I think it's great for women with wide root breasts like me.
After wearing this bra for a bit, I have realized that I have the "orange in a cup" fit at the bottom of this cup. So although it is good for the wide root of my breasts, it apparently isn't so great for the fullness I have at the bottom of my breasts. I tried a cup size up and it was much too big, so it isn't even a sizing issue really, just the way this bra is for me. Also, I'm getting pretty annoyed at how large the cup is around my underarms. Yes, I have some breast tissue there, but it doesn't need to be covered with the cup and peek out of every sleeveless top I own! Read more 193 more words
This bra is my favourite. (I bought three of them.) It has sadly been discontinued and I'm finding it hard to find one that fits as well, while giving my boobs the same shape. A lot of Curvy Kate bras make my boobs look really big under clothing by giving them quite a round shape (the Princess, Portia and Dreamcatcher all do this for me) whereas this one seems to point them forwards and upwards more. The wires are really comfortable despite my close-set breasts, and the band fits well for me.
This is the deepest bra that I've ever owned, and doesn't wrinkle on the bottom like any of the others that I've tried. The stretch lace on the top is a little loose on me because of my semi-conical shape, but it's not an issue underneath a shirt.
So far I have only tried this on, but I think it will work. It might be just a bit small in the cup. The lowest part of the top was rather loose for a swimsuit, but I have narrower hips than breasts - I think it'd be just right for someone balanced. I was afraid it might be tricky to put on, like the Panache sport top - the bra back fastening under the top fabric was similar - but it was looser than the sports top and easy to fasten, while still feeling supportive. The projection is better than I expected! The cups might crumple at the base when worn longer (it happens sadly often), but they seemed fine for the brief time I had it on.
I was hopeful this would be my first t-shirt bra in a size that didn't leave me with four boobs or adjusting constantly. Sadly, I don't fill the bottom of the cup and the area around the wing height rubbed uncomfortably. My best fitting bras are unpadded UK 32G and 30H. I sized up in the cup thinking that a t-shirt bra would be less forgiving, so I might try sizing down in the cup in the future.
I want this bra to work so badly, but out of the box it just didn't.
The wires are delightfully short and narrow, and overall the bra is a great one for a full on bottom person. I took the advice to go up one cup size from your usual and it worked out for me: the cups fit me very well. However, the wires were too stiff initially, and even with many weeks of attempted bending they still pinch me at the outer edge of my ribs. This is such a weird place I don't even know how to fix it. Additionally, the band was too tight, without ...enough stretch in it to get me through a full day. I got an extender and it fixed that.
The shape the bra gives is a nice, rounded one. It looks great on me from the front, too. But I didn't like the look of this bra nearly as much as I'd thought I would. The embroidery comes down so far on the cup, and took up most of the upper section. I also hated the pattern. So I'm taking it out, slowly but surely. Read more 84 more words
I got it via ebay (brand new and also a bargain, so I feel very proud about myself!) and it was an excellent choice. I haven´t got any strapless bra since - ever, I guess? I never thought it would be possible to have something supportive enough. The 32FF - Freya » Deco Strapless (4233) I own didn´t give any support without the straps, so I don´t really think of it as a strapless, and it was a shape mismatch anyway, I´m afraid.
So... Where to begin?
The colour is called "biscotti"- which means it´s skin friendly for me as a Caucasian.
It ...gives a very interesting shape, not similar to any other bra I own. Slightly projected and yet somehow minimizing. It works well for my narrow, projected, slightly full on top, close set breasts. I chose to wear a 30-inch band, because the silicone on the band would otherwise hurt my sensitive skin. And it was still very supportive.
I spent my wedding day in this beauty without the straps and it was supportive since 8AM to 4AM the next day https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> When I put it down, I had some red marks on my back, but this happens to me in any bra (even in those horrible 34/36 DDDs I do not wear anymore).
The strips on the back of the bra are a bit visible under light fabric - but that is mostly OK, and my wedding dress with sheer fabric had some lace added to cover these. The tiny buttons and ribbon on the sternum are a very cute detail.
I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone in similar size range searching for a strapless bra.
I tried this bra as I had read it was similar to the discontinued Cleo Lily, which I like. The measurements seemed close, but this bra definitely isn't as good as Lily for me. I have quadding even on my smaller side, and really obvious quadding on the larger. This bra seems to be too shallow at the bottom, next to the underwire, so the wires can't get into my IMF. That leads to wrinkles at the bottom of the cup and overspill at the top. The band and straps also feel rough and irritate my skin, though maybe that would be better after washing the bra. I think tall people would have a problem with the straps, as I am really short and I was most comfortable with the straps not much shorter than their longest setting.
I just got this bra today so I can't say how it will wear long term. I've been wearing a bra that was too big for months now due to weight loss & I will have to re-adjust to wearing the right size band. Right now it feels really tight to me but I know that's how it's supposed to be. The band seems to be true to size & it's very snug at the loosest set of hooks. The material of the bra is very smooth & comfortable. The wires come up far enough to contain side boob without chafing. ...I like the low gore. It gives me good lift & projection. I get a slightly more pointy shape than I like but I wouldn't say the shape is overall pointy. I didn't set it in the fit, but I do get just the tiniest amount of quadding. This is the 2nd round of sizes in this bra that I've ordered off Amazon & in the first batch I tried the 30J & the cup was too big so I think the quadding is just a shape issue rather than a size problem. I really like more of a half-cup padded bra & that shape really works well for me with a very open top, but I have been sized out them for a while & have just started my search again now that I've lost so much in my chest. The seams of this bra are pretty visible under thinner shirts. I've gotten used to that by now. I don't have any bras that don't show the seams.
I'm updating this now that I've worn it a couple weeks. I've decided that this bra does not have enough projection for me. The longer I wear it, the more the wires are pushed down into my ribcage & it's really painful. Also, the wires are so wide that they sit pretty far under my arms. This lets my breasts go really wide. I'm more used to an upfront look & don't like to look so wide from the front. I'm changing the Comfort rating to poor simply because of the shape mis-match made it so painful to wear this bra for more than a couple hours at a time. Read more 296 more words
This bra has not fit very well recently. It seems to have too much gaping on the bottom of the cups and since my breast are full and heavy on top it just folds the cups outward. Very pretty bra though. i wish it worked better for me but it just doesn't.
I wanted this bra to fit so bad. It's such a beautiful alluring bra. The colors compliment each other perfectly. Buuuut it's too small. Like maybe 2 cups too small. Boo hoo. I get quadraboob you can just see the cup being so small its pulled and points down. Additionally my boobie tries to escape on the side of the bra cup. The bra band is on the stretchy side, it feels more like a 32 than a 30 band. I had no idea I had to size up on curvy kate but now I know. I hope and pray I can find a size on this bra.
Too shallow and wide. The bottom of the cup was sooo empty there was actually indented and the bra was pulling itself down at the same time the cups were trying to pull my breast the opposite direction . Definitely not made for my body. But now I know. The band felt snug, comfortably snug. I was actually pleased to know and feel the band stay in place for once. In the picture you will be able to see how soft my breast are they look like play doh oozing out of the cup because it's too small.
Ugh. I wanted this to fit, I'd even settle for a slightly problematic-ok fit because I found this bra to be really attractive if not at all practical because the detailing is an eyesore under most shirts.
The fit: I could have sized down in the band. I'm normally a 30/32 in UK sizing, and this 30 could be more snug. Now I know what bratabase users mean when they say a style is wrong for their shape. The cup isn't deep enough near the gore, leaving my pendulous and projected boobs nowhere to go but push against the center gore. The gore was resting against one of my boobs. Logically, maybe the cups are too small and maybe I need to go up in size. However, the top of the cup is completely empty. I have about even fullness and was left wondering how this bra is supposed to fit because I'm baffled. And jealous. Because, seriously, this is a pretty bra.
bought this used on the facebook swap group. 30HH is super far from my normal size, but the Tease Me sizing is really weird, so i figured id give it a try. it came with a matching pair of size 16 suspender shorts, which im assuming are also used. the shorts fit fine (tried on over another pair of underwear). the bra appears to be in good used condition. there is some slight rippling on the right strap, and faint pilling in one or two places. shorts are the same, one or two threads that appear to be loose, but otherwise perfect!
the bra, sadly, does not fit. i ...can get it done up, and the band is snug but not uncomfortable. 32 and 34 bands have usually been way too large in Tease Me's, but the other 30 Bands on new ones have been too tight. this is an older model, and used, so i imagine that's why the band fit better. the cups are where i have the most issue. they are way too wide, so along with tons of space in the sides, the straps are all up in my armpits, and it shoves the cups forward a lot. that shoving means the cups end up gaping a ton near the strap. if i were to bend the wires to an appropriate width, i imagine i would have too much depth, because i dont get any spillage or quad boob in it now, just too much width. it would likely also mean the band would be too tight. the gore is too wide, not just at the top, but at the middle and base of it. if i pinch so there is almost no gore, it seems like it would fit much better there. the gore is also far too high for my comfort level.
i think its time to admit that Tease Me is just never going to work for me, no matter how much i want it to! its one of my favorite looking bras, but i cant find a good fit in it. i might try a 32G if i can find one for halfway cheap, but thats probably going to end up the same way https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Read more 271 more words
