Really like the design and wanted this to fit well!
But sadly, it is the least well constructed CK bra I've encountered.. Or it just doesn't work for me.
My breasts generally don't need much support, but this bra (32FF) makes it appear as if the straps are really straining / pulling! There are these 'lines' / creases on the outer sides of the cup that look too stretched. While I'm definitely not adjusting the straps too tightly, and my tissue is adequately filling the cups.
Pictures are not the best quality sorry, but you get the general idea. For me, this bra has kind of a downward pull to it - not something anybody would want I guess!
Also, the fabric feels kind of cheap and foamy. Not nearly as well made as other CK bras I've tried (Starlet, Tease me, Tempt me). Disappointed, returning this item!
This bra fits more or less, but it's just the wrong shape for my breasts. The straps are too broad for my shoulders, depending on my posture and arms I have quad-boobs or wrinkles on the top, and overall I think it would better suit FoB breasts that point away from the center of your body.
This is probably at least a size too small, but the cup edge doesn't cut in. I found it quite comfortable until I put on a bit of weight recently and now it's a bit tight in the band. Bizarrely I also own this in a 32F which fits about the same. One size up only sits further back under my armpits and higher on my breast. Cup is quite shallow.
The wires are the perfect height and don't poke into my sides. The cups give me a good shape. Since they are a three-part cup there is a seam that shows through my camisoles a little bit but it's not too noticeable. The purple/fuschia combo is vibrant and cheerful. The band feels very comfortable - the band on this one has three hooks instead of two and feels very supportive.
This bra is gorgeous! I was worried it would be too shallow, but the projection is just perfect. The band is true to size and very supportive with three hooks. The ribbon/lace at the top of the cups pulls away just a tad, but not enough to gape.
I love the subtle animal print pattern and the bra is comfortable and attractive.
However, the centre gore doesn't lie flat and I have orange-in-a-glass at the bottom of the cup and quad-boob at the top. I will try a cup size up, but I think perhaps this bra is too shallow for my breasts.
This is honestly the most comfortable bra I've had in a very, very long time. I literally squeeled with glee the first time I put this on. It's incredibly gorgeous, it's soft, it's comfortable to wear, and it doesn't dig (too badly) into my breast tissue.
So I got it in the nude shade, which is definitely closer to a light tan or light olive skintone. Even in a plain shade, the embroidery and detailing still make it beautiful.
The wires in this bra seem to run rather wide, so they're better on someone with a wide root such as myself. They are very close together in the front, ...but not touching, so if your breast tissue is touching, you might experience some discomfort there (though my own tissue is actually touching, and this is one of the few bras that isn't incredibly uncomfortable on my natural cleavage).
The cup is definitely somewhat shallow...not overly so, but it would not be enough for someone who needs deep cups. Likewise, it also might be a bit big still for people who need particularly shallow cups.
The band I didn't find painful at all...I tend to run between two band sizes (32-34), so sometimes a 32 is just too tight. But in this case, the band definitely stretched out over time. After a week of wearing it (giving it days off in between), I'm on the second hook on my 32.
The only real complaint that I do have about this bra is that the straps are rather far apart, which sucks for people who have narrow shoulders. You might find yourself trying to slide them back into place multiple times during the day.
The overall quality of this bra is good - even though it looks delicate and pretty, I can imagine it lasting well over time. Read more 194 more words
I bought this bra before I was really acquainted with my breast type. I don't think i'll ever buy a Curvy Kate bra again. the wires are too wide and they don't lay right against my root, creating a gap. The shape is wrong too because my breasts are soft. Otherwise it is comfortable and really pretty.
This bra is quite comfortable but there is just a little to much of the quad boob effect. It's not so much visible in the picture, but it clearly shows through my clothes so this one will be returned.
I absolutely LOVE this bra. The fabric is beautiful and comfortable. The construction is high quality. The design is pleasing. While I'm not used to a proper fitting band, it is still comfortable. I'm not used to the sensation of the gore sitting nicely between my breasts, but it is still comfortable!
I get a nice lift from this bra, and a lovely rounded shape. I was worried that I might get a pointier look from larger bras, so I'm quite pleased.
I do have a minuscule amount of wrinkling when I roll my shoulders forward - however, I expect tissue migration, and I still analyze this as a near perfect fit. The wrinkling can be found on the outside edge of the cup's tops, near the straps.
While the band is comfy, it does create a little pudge of skin beneath on the front when it isn't in perfect position. However, I expect the band to stretch.
This bra is my best fitting one for my very shallow breasts. When I first got it the top of the gore dug into my breast bone uncomfortably, but after a few weeks the band stretched out and it rarely gets into an uncomfortable position now. Although the ruffles are cute, they do not work with most t-shirts and the bra shows in any sort of low cut v-neck top.
This bra is wearable, but not a great fit for me. The padded cups sit weirdly against my breasts, like they are too stiff and straight up and down or something. Pretty bra though! Runs loose in the band.
Got rid of this one. The wires were too wide and the bottoms of the cups had the most significant wrinkling of any bra I've ever owned. I didn't know any better at the time so I wore it. It gave me a gross, sad, downward-pointing shape.
Pros: lovely satiny material in vibrant grape colour, with jade embroidery. Really comfortable padded cup and the band and straps are both wide and stretchy making them very comfortable too.
Cons: cup too small leading to overspill, but also looks very long on me. Flattens my breasts.
Pros: lovely teal colour with gold stitching, and it fits me.
Cons: I'm not keen on the pointy shape it gives, and as others have mentioned, I have some bulging where it changes from the thicker to the thinner material. It's also digging in slightly under the arms. I'm going to return it.
Very nice bra, I really like the style. It's comfortable and supportive, perfect band size, but too small in the cups for me(quad boob effect/wires too short).
It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. the wires are a bit wide, and I can't quite get into the bottom of the cup. band fit is wonderfully snug, straps don't feel like they're going to fall off. good lift, nice shape, but I think I had better change my base size point to 34F/32FF when i order bras next.
There were loose threads on this bra and a small hole in the mesh. I'm still going to keep it.
I am writing this review as I pack this bra and the Freya Sophia up to ship back to the UK, because first and foremost, it did not fit. The cup size is waaayyyy too small. This is alright, as I am in the process of figuring out my Curvy Kate size. Not to fear, my next order contains the next two cup sizes up to try, and I can't wait until they get here!
That being said, this bra is really beautiful and I love it. The "teal" color is darker than it looks online, a rich and vibrant shade of blue-green, nicely complemented by gold criss-cross stitching, lace, and bows. This is seriously the most extravagant and beautiful bra I have ever had in my possession!
One of my favorite things about this bra is the band, which is a bit wider than that in my other bands, and is pretty firm. I feel like it looks good on my back, causing less bulges than some of my other bras.
