This is such a pretty bra. I wish it fit. I love the little gem in the the center gore. The cup is too shallow for my breast. The materials are really nice. The straps are wide as well. The band felt true to size.
Its extremely comfy and cute. Fits my boobs well, except when I lean down they kinda want to pop out of the top. This bra is pretty low cut so it works with a plunging neckline. I've only worn it once.
I've only had the bra for a few days now, but I love it. This bra was bought used here on bratabase, so the band stretches to 39" without distorting the wires.
Unfortunately, I have a touch of quad-boob in this bra which would mean that I'm sized out. It's not enough to make me sell the bra though. This bra make my boobies look glorious.
The Tease Me probably is my pet peeve or something. This is the second one I now have. I found it on Asos very cheap on sale. I wear it on the tightest hook from the beginning to make the thing fit.
Oh well it doesn't fit. I have to adjust constantly because tissue slips out everywhere. But what do I care with this bra?
Now to add to the fun: How many people would jump on a trampoline in this bra? I did for two hours. Worked just fine.
Stunningly beautiful and of excellent construction. Gives me a very rounded albeit a little squished together profile under clothes. Comfortable but requires frequent adjusting. Does not provide as much support from the bottom as I was hoping to get and the thin straps slip occasionally.
This bra is stunning. Much more so than I would have thought from pictures. I have some quadriboob in a 34H and it gives me a very odd, sloping, unattractive shape under clothes. The band fits beautifully and the gore tacks well. The straps are quite wide and slip off my shoulders frequently. I tried to wear it for a day but I did get some back-ache and sore shoulders from the straps. I am not sure if I need a 34HH or J. I do not think I will be trying another Curvy Kate balconette style just because of the odd shape. That said my husband finds it extremely attractive, weird shape and all and likes me to wear it as a bedroom set, which is the only reason I kept it.
As with most CurvyKate bras, I wish the straps were placed ever so slightly closer together, more to avoid chaffing than falling off my shoulders. It's a pretty bra that is light, very breathable, and supportive. The lace along the top is a little unforgiving, creating some minor quad-boob when I reach my arms up over my head. The only real con besides the straps being wide-set is the scalloped lacing along the underwires. In other bras, CurvyKate included, this edging doesn't bother me. In this particular bra, the edging seems to roll inward and rub along my ribs.
It's stiffer than my other, similar balconette CurvyKate bras, but feels like it'll soften up in a few wearings. Pros: It's really pretty! The lace hides nicely under normal t-shirts, and teh fabric, while stiff, is soft to the touch (even the lace). Cons: CurvyKate bras have gores that are too narrow for my wide-set breasts, meaning there's occasional quad-boob on the larger of my two breasts. It's totally wearable, the corset detail on the wings is super cute.
This bra is really beautiful, and I'm disappointed that I seem to be sizing out of Curvy Kate 's Showgirl line entirely. The pictures show this model as light pink and white, but it's actually hot pink and cream, with the pink muted a bit by cream netting. The band is very stretchy and pleasantly wide, which is why I'm so sad not to fit it. My usual Curvy Kate complaints apply: the center gore is so wide that the bra slides up and down on my chest, leaving an itchy red mark even when the band is very tight. The cups are broad and too shallow. I can get away with wearing this one if I choose a low cut top and display a lot of cleavage, so the Tease Me [showgirl Collection] is very forgiving of a bad fit, but that doesn't make it the right size.
My first impression of this bra is that it is extremely cute. I generally avoid white lace styles because I find them boring, but the Portia has a nice design and pretty ribbon detailing. Unfortunately, this particular one is simply too small in the cup for me. It also has a relatively wide front gusset that causes the wires to poke me in the sternum. For someone with shallower, wider-set breasts, this bra would be great, however.
This bra was just all wrong for me. Even if I had gotten it in a size that fit me, I believe that I would have that ever hated east/west boob thing going on. The fabrics and the construction of the bra are nice. The band is stretchy and does not feel tight. The underwire is a bit too tall for me as well.
I bought this bra after realizing that my 36G's were too big in the band. This one appears to also be too big in the band/small in the cup, and I'll be returning it. The bra itself was quite comfortable though - the fabric was soft (no scratchys!). The underwires weren't poking me anywhere.and the shape it gave was decent (minus the quadboob from too small a cup)
There is a little space between the wire and breastbone, but not much. Lace on top of bra makes it difficult to wear under many tops. It gives a round breast shape: my breasts look like two little pillows nestled in it! Sexy. I should have sized up, but it isn't made in HH. At the time I bought it I thought I needed a 34GG (I thought I'd lost a band size, not lost a band size and gained cup volume) so I believed I was sizing up.
The picture (on a wooden table) is not very true to color. It is ...a very bright purple.
Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the bra was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of the bra near the time of purchase. Below are my comments on the current state of the bra:
This bra is now two cup sizes too small, so sadly I can no longer wear it. I did not notice any band stretching, but I've only worn it about 20 times. Read more 89 more words

Fits much in the same way as the Thrill me in 36GG (on tightest hook), which is very good indeed! Highly recommended bra - it is cut very low, so there is less "control" on the girls than in the Thrill Me, but still pretty firm and good! I do fear I need in HH, as when I lean forward, there is a bit of quadro-boob
