This is my new favourite bra! I ADORE the Bardot. It is a gorgeous bra with sheer fabric cups, which is not so easy to find in the larger cup market. At the same time, it is very supportive and it doesn't feel like a weak bra at all. Some minor adjusting might be needed during a day of wearing it but nothing serious. I can't wait to see it in other colourways because I can't get enough of it! A beautifully made bra of excellent quality.
A very shallow and wide bra like other padded half cup bras. I personally don't like the color ; Ruby (it's more like brick or burgundy color), but it was on sale... However this bra makes my breasts perfectly rounded and uplifted shape. Although I'm in the 'BETWEEN SIZE HELL', it fits me quite well. I think 34jj would fit better because the gore doesn't sit on my sternem and I get the OIG effect a little bit. Anyway it is comfortable. Only complain about this bra is the strap set. It is too wide, so that I had to alter it.
I just got a ritzy, too! It came on Friday, and yes, it's great for us in-between ears, isn't it? PlU.S. if you're FOT it has space, and if you're FOB it provides lift.
Yes! Totally agree with you. I don't have many choices because of the size. So far Ritzy is the best option for me. I hope CK makes more bras like Ritzy & Tease me. I'm FOT , tall and wide root. They are just perfect for my shape.
It reminds me of a demi style bra that I wore when I was smaller. I like it. The side supports are not made with a plastic piece so it does not dig in my side. I have no problem with the ribbon that is threaded thru the eyelets in the lace at the top of the cup. It fits tight in the band. The support is not as much as my Cleo-Marcy but it is not so little that I stoop. The width of the cup on this one is a tad to wide, but not enough to require adjusting. Out of the 3 Curvy Kate bras that I have tried this is the only one that fits well enough to wear and keep.
I really liked this Bikini when it fitted me, it was very comfortable and supportive at the same time. This model does have a firm band too. The cups do run a bit generous on these older CK bikinis (this one is from their first Swimwear collection from 2012) so don't get fooled by newer ones that fit 1 cup size small. I could wear a 32JJ-34J in those old CK Bikinis when I was a 32K in bras.
I love this bra! It's slightly too small but futs perfectly with an extender. It's not really a daytime bra as the support slackens over time but perfect for evening wear or a night out. Nice shape and very comfortable.
Super cute bra! My favourite pattern of any bra I have tried on thus far. Straps fit a bit far apart for my shoulders. Band is firm but not tight and with some swooping/scooping, I fill the bottom adequately. However, the top of the cups are a bit gappy. I knew the 34J might be a stretch for me to fill, but I thought that since many CK bras run small, I might stand a sporting chance. Alas, I'd be better off sticking with a 34HH in this particular style. I will definitely keep a lookout for it though!
Way too big in the upper cups; I can safety pin the top fabric of the cups together. To be fair, this is primarily due to my mis-measuring my breasts during breastfeeding (measuring first thing when my breasts are fuller).
Cute pattern and fits well under clingier tops, especially for a non-moulded bra. I want to like this bra, but it's not in the cards for me today.
It fits nicely, it's comfy, it looks good beyond that odd shape I get from Curvy Kate. Overall, I'm happy with it. I may have noticed some spilling after some wear. Will confirm when I reach it again in my rotation.
I really love this bra. It's cute, comfortable, and supportive. There's little wrinkling at the bottom of the cup near the gore on my larger breast (I think I need slightly more immediate projection), but it's minor.
It's not perfect, but I would consider this bra to fit well.
This is a gorgeous bra. There is a lot of embroidery on the cup and isn't the best for t-shirts right away. The good news is it does soften up after a couple of washes and is hardly noticeable. There is a contrasting ribbon along the top that is cute, but makes wearing the bra under light shirts nearly impossible. I would recommend this bra in any color, other than seafoam. Apparently the seafoam has an issue with stretching out very quickly. Mine was nearly unwearable after 3-4 wears. The other colors have held up great!
This is a very pretty bra. Nice Geometric Lace on the top of the cup. The bottom of the cup is very supportive. There is no elastic running along the top of the cup, so if you are not full/rounded, it may not lay seamlessly. Overall, very comfortable.
Yay, another bra that fits https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> This bra has a rather sturdy, not to stretchy band, and straps. The fabric of the cups feels soft and smooth yet firm and supportive. I ordered the blush, it has little bows on the straps and center gore with a little dangling gem. Not sure how long that will last but for now it's a fun little touch.
I thought this bra wAs my holy grail, turns out it wasn't. It fits okay but there's slit of adjusting throughout the day and ultimately it is not the best for my shape. It's a hard bra to size because the fit issues aren't easy to spot. It seemed like it fits but the side profile isn't the greatest and I seem to lose support throughout the day. The underwire on the side is okay, very narrow, which is what I need but they don't come up high enough and I get poked if I'm not constantly adjusting. This will have to go in my "not sure what to do with" pile. The polka dot pattern a very visible even under a t-shirt tank top combo.
I got this in the seafoam and pink colourway, which is really ohhhh so cute on. Unfortunately though, it was a miss. This was my first try with curvy kate unpadded in anything resembling my size, and we had issues.
The front view is pretty good looking as far as I can tell, but once I turn sideways it's that pointy in an odd way shape CK can give. I appreciate that the center gore is, if not low, much lower than I've been used to with superbras.
The wires, though, seem to be both too short and too narrow for me, especially in the bottom, which runs sorta ...counter to what I've read elsewhere. I'm definitely getting Orange in a glass, and not filling the bottoms of the cups. I'm not sure if sizing up would help, and might put up a fit request later. On the plus side, the cups of this bra felt SO SOFT to me, just fingering the material. My main point of comparison is Panache's mesh, and this feels way way nicer to me. The band is also hugging my back much more nicely, without the tendency to curl panache has had, though I can't say how it holds up over time since I won't be keeping this.
EDIT: When I took it off at the end of the day, there were weird little puckered holes in the mesh part of the band near the cup. I'm not sure if they were there before I put the bra on and I didn't notice them, or if they happened in one day's wear, but either way they seem like a serious quality issue. I've worn much tighter bands without anything like this, and this was probably the least noticeable band while wearing I've had in a while. Read more 192 more words
The Portia in this color has a different style to the older colors/styles of CK bras. Not sure if the other bras from the same season were also changed. This one definitely has wires more narrow than a typical CK bra.
Good to know, thanks! Hmm, that makes figuring out a ck size in anything else even trickier.
Ping alisa She has talked to CK about it and have info about which bras are changed :)
