After the smoothie didn't work on my shape, I figured I would try Curvy Kate one more time with the Starlet. The wires are too wide and the cups are too shallow. The band feels pretty good though.

The 30GG (my usual size), felt a bit big overall on me, yet it didn't have enough space at the base of the cup. I think that, like a lot of CK bras, it's designed for someone quite full on top, and also less projected than I am.

So, this is probably one of the prettiest bras I've ever seen, it's in one of my favourite colours to wear and I love the little star charm on the center gore. Given as I just got it today (April 4), I haven't had much chance to wear it. First impressions: It's gorgeous, finally I have something tight enough, I'm not sure if the straps will become a chafing hazard, I think the cups might not be quite the right shape for me (slight wrinkling in the bottom, my mom thinks it fits great, though)
This will get updated after I give it a day trial.

Cups seem a little pointy. I probably need to go up a cup size, but I worry I'll have the orange in a glass effect even worse given the way the cups are shaped. I just barely fill out the cup as it is, and still have quad-boob.

I'm looking for a tshirt bra and heard the Starlet might not be quite as shallow as other Curvy Kate bras.
On the loosest hook, my breasts don't quite seem to sit well in the cups. The bottom of the cup doesn't seem to get filled completely and the top has a small gap.The top gap is a bit better when I put it on the middle hook but still there.
The problem I'm having with the top of the cup is if feel along the edge of the molding, you can feel that it curves inward toward the edge and then outward at the the end of ... the cup. So that it resembles a valley. This make the very top edge of the cup stand up and extremely noticeable when wearing a tshirt. I prefer my tshirt bras to lay completely flat and smooth without showing any sort of wrinkling or lines. I also tried on a 34F and this valley was almost non-existent in that one so I wonder if maybe I got a 34E bra that was just slightly deformed.

I am 30GG and start to fall in between sizes as the band goes up. So I have one in an almost-sister size and I adore it. I would say it runs pretty true to size. With shockingly narrow wires! There is some magic in it haha, the Starlet is way supportive and flattering though I would expect less in 34F. I could use a size up to make the gore tack as it hovers a teeny bit. If it tacked tightly I might have quadboob, but it doesn't & I don't! The "proper" size band may get rid of my slight orange-in-a-glass too if smaller ... bands have more projection in CK, but it is still sooo comfortable. Doesn't compress me like Deco but more subtle yet similar cleavage.
It doesn't ride up and is so darn beautiful - I got Starlet in Petrol, and now I understand the name. It is a jewel-like deep cobalt blue, with some kind of glowing-from-within jewel purple that shows through like a hologram! Or like petrol, haha.
It is surprisingly firm for a 34, however mine is brand spanking new (just got it straight from CK to my local boutique) so I don't know how that will hold up. It does stretch to past 34 (from 27) if I let the wires distort, without distortion it may only go to 31. I will have to measure again, but it just has a nice firm feeling. Must be good elastic. EDIT 1 month later - Yes It does seem to have stretched out a bit.
Anyway much better for everyday wearing than my 32G Decos, which feel quite loose in band and somewhat gape yet feels compressed/uncomfortable in the boobs anyway. I will have to get the Starlet in 32G some time, or 30GG, I think I will be wearing this one to death.

I ordered this because I like molded cup bras, but have a hard time finding models in a sub-32 band with wide wires. One of the few bras that I've found that has wide enough wires is my Curvy Kate Fleurty, so I was hoping that they could be my go-to brand for wide wires. Unfortunately, though the wires seemed wide enough on the Starlet, the cups molded into a shape that was too projected and cut in too closely at the top edge. I had a definitely "orange in a glass" where I had both quad-boob across the top edge yet was only barely filling out the apex of the cup.
Appearance-wise, this bra was very attractive for a standard "molded cup t-shirt bra." I liked the diamond-pattern mesh overlay and the little star charm in the center. I just wish it had fit better.

I really need to give up on Curvy Kate. This color of this bra is absolutely gorgeous. I have the Petrol version. The inside of the cups is a deep purple. That's where the pros end. It doesn't tack at all. The cups are too shallow but that was no big surprise because I know this about CK. I'm between a 32/34 band and the 32 was good. I find CK bands very stretchy. In comparison to the Smoothie, they seemed to have fixed the problem of the top of the cup flipping out. The top of the cup on the Starlet has some sort of binding to help prevent it from rolling out.

Amazing! While I wish the wires were a bit narrower, this fits pretty perfectly. It hooks nicely on the first set, the straps sit perfectly on my shoulders, and there's no quadboob (which really says something, since my VFoT boobs tend to try to escape from EVERYTHING). The only thing I don't like is that one of the hooks appears to be loose already, and I just bought the bra last night. I've sent a message to CK's customer service to hopefully get that fixed. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
