This bra feels really nice to wear, but the cup shape is wrong for me. I'm center full, and the side support styles are seeming to be a terrible matchup for me. The side support band squishes my sides flat and gives me a more pointy shape than I prefer. It would probably be a great fit for even fullness, but I think the volume at the center would be too much for outer fullness.

Fits ribcage 27
B. perimeter 11
Stretched Band 32.8
Band Length 23.8
Cup width 4.5
Cup depth 8.0
Wire length 9.5
Cup height 5.7
Cup separation 0.7
Gore height 3.2
Wing height 2.7
Strap width 0.6
Strap length 14.5
Hooks 2
WHY IS THE GORE NEARLY AN INCH TALLER THAN THE WING???
in the most specific measurements at seam it's a bit over half inch but realistically, this thing is sooo effed.
Despite band being about 6" loose on me, cups tilt cattywompus sideways from tall gore to insanely short wing. the ultra round center of cup fits like a dream and everything else binds in around this crazy ball pocket like it's clowntown.
itchy rough mesh. top ... band/s bind in on even upper root. sort of a dusty salmon beige mesh under deep grey pinstripes says I'ma make it work, somehow.
have you heard though? amazingly round lower cup shape.
the actual roundest thing I've ever seen for boob holsters.
yet, entire bottom cup collapses and caves terribly on the sides.
cups super Super SUPER duper close together. to an obscene degree. to no fault of the gore which is moderately narrow but not so much as one might need for it's height.
victory is also weirdly closed off on top. so for short breasts except in larger sizes in which case, victory is for super huge tall roots the bigger the cup gets.
a pattern that only a freshman design student could love.
the rest of us sitting here with pitchforks and torches, because the inconsistency in shape this scaling creates is idiotic.
For something that was touted as being the most weirdly immediate projection/round/shallow bra, my very tall-wide-Round and FOB/even breasts are so lost how we got here.

Dug this one out of the moving box finally, but now I remember why I put it there to never see the light of day again in the first place. When I first got this bra, it was definitely too big in the cups, now it's..small? I'm getting in cup quadding while also getting cup gape on the right side, the wire cuts my boobs in half and I can get neither of them completely into the cups. There just isn't enough space. I'll try it again in 32J because so far all signs seem to point to the cup size being off.

Oh my, no. The peek-a-boo gore on the Victory was unstable with the top refusing to tack at all. At one point some breast tissue actually squeezed out under the gore into the center. NOT the kind of peek-a-boo I had in mind. The cups are large and round, seem to maybe run small, but were too big in the top cup for me, nonetheless. The bottom cups are plenty deep, so that's a plus, but the fabric is not firm enough to beat gravity with my heavy boobs. The cups are a four-part construction with a side-support panel. The cups are plain mesh - two ply on the lower, single on the upper, and there is one little dangly charm decoration instead of a bow. The band was extra tight - I'm not sure I could have fastened a 38 band! I had to use a stretchy extender on the loosest settings to get it on. The straps are thin and seem really long for some reason.

Second try with this bra. See my review of the 32K - Curvy Kate » Victory Balcony (9001) for more information about the bra.
The 32K was too big in cups and too tight in band. I sized up in band in this bra. Then I had to size down in cups. I sized down 2 cup sizes. It was not enough. I still have the gaping on top. I could get 34HH and look at how that will fit but honestly I don't care anymore. I don't think the bra will work for me in any size. It is also not a very high quality ... bra in my option. The shoulder straps are thin, stretchy and slip easily. The fabric is rather flimsy even in the lower cup and not very supportive.
The band fits well in this size. The band stretches to 85cm which is my comfy exhaled measurement. Apart from that I still have most of the same fit issues than I had in the 32K. Cups are too tall and roomy on top, I cannot fill them even though I have somewhat tall and full-on-top boobs. The straps are too seperated and the wires too wide on the side. The bra does not feel very supportive overall and I also have the same feeling of my boobs in the lower cup falling over the underwire. The gore does not tack fully at the V-part and gets pushed away. The underwire is not very supportive, the bra does not do much work with it's construction.
I only recommend this bra in this size range if you have a specific shape: lots of upper breast fullness combined with a very tall breast root and also somewhat wide boobs. I also think it would work if your boobs were somewhat shallow but I could be wrong. I only speak here about my size range 32-34 bands and J-K cups and I don't recommend it unless you have that specific boob shape.

Frazzleberry I wouldn't recommend it, only if you can find it at good price with free shipping and return. I mean it would be interesting to see how it fits you. since you prefer a 28 band. I found the band came up small so the 30K would probably fit rather like a 28KK or even 28L since the cups are also on the bigger side.
Hmm, it could probably maybe work considering the 28Ks (only two though, ellace and daily dream) were too small.
I hardly ever do returns though, because it can be a major hassle, plus additional costs from where I'm from..so I'll have to think long and hard about it.
Frazzleberry It would be interesting, let me know if you decide to try it.
I'm 32G/34FF and this bra fits me very well in the 34FF, so I'd guess it is wonky scaling. Narrow roots, projected, centre full shape.
smoulderandbraids Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad to hear that the bra works for you :) It is like I thought, the scaling gets all over to place at the upper end of the cup sizes. You had to size up in the band too but don't even have to size down in cups. Did you find the cups tall compared to your other bras?
Too much separation and extends past silhouette. Cups kind of collapse at bottom. TONS of back rolls.

The construction of this 4-part balconette is scaled reasonably at my size (40:6) immediately outside of the core size range.
The listed measurements were taken from the beige colorway as manufactured (unaltered).
The teal colorway runs taller/bigger but is also long discontinued so likely won't impact your purchasing decisions.
Whatever colorway you consider, this is a full-coverage, tall balconette best suited for slight FoB - Even - FoT breasts with average to tall roots.
[My FoB breasts that lose upper volume with weight loss is why I reduced the cup height (the stretch lace top section) by ~1.75" in Teal and ~1" in Beige]
The winning ... feature of 40E - Curvy Kate » Victory Balcony (9001) is its simple yet modern seamed cup design that is truly INVISIBLE under clothes in basic Black and Latte and also juicy saturated colors like Teal, Turquoise, Ultraviolet, Navy, Claret, Pink.
The band is a firmer TTS.
The partially sheer to sheer mesh fabric is appealing and gives solid lift and rounded shape, with the bonus STRETCH mesh upper cup section that accomodates breast volume fluctuations and asymmetry. This type of fabric is a slight compromise in comfort that is reasonable for me.
The cups are reasonably deep and work well for my malleable soft tissue. But it is no match for the projected superbra of 4-part UK balconettes that is Panache Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) or Sculptresse Chi-chi Full Cup Bra (7695) or any of their clones which I've collected and listed amongst My Bras.
The wires seem standard for Curvy Kate, as far as I can tell.

Great review! Unfortunately I had similar issues with the bra. It looks like it works generally better in a smaller size range.
