Fits okay on tightest hook - really I should be a 30E but this 32DD works and is a nice bra for wearing under tight shirts. The straps dig in by my armpits since they're too wide but it is usually not uncomfortable unless I wear it all day and do a lot of slouching.
When I first tried this on, I thought the cups were too big, but after adjusting the straps a bit, they seemed to fit fine. The biggest issue for me was that the straps seemed too far apart. They weren't falling off my shoulders, but I felt like they might.
I'm typically a 30 band, but I frequently buy a 32 when it's the only option available or I find it really cheap. This was on sale for $14, so I was willing to forgive the less-than-ideal band, and I had a newborn baby, so I didn't have a lot of time to shop.
Unfortunately, the band quickly stretched out even more, so what was previously sort-of loose is now unwearable. The cups no longer fit me either, but that's a change in me, not the bra. They're molded, so they're not susceptible to much stretching out, but I was breastfeeding every 2-3 hours when I bought the bra and now I'm down to twice a day, so I've lost about half a cup size.
I have some wrinkling at the bottom of the cups, but the cup material is so comfy I don't really mind. It's a stretchier cup than other molded bras I've worn, which makes it comfier for me but probably not ideal for bustier ladies. Love the diamond pattern in the fabric- it's subtle enough to wear under T-shirts but adds more interest than a standard flat fabric.
This bra is too bid in the band, but the cups are ridiculously comfortable. The straps always fall off my shoulders because they're so wide set... Overall, I'd say this bra is nice, but not for extensive wear.
This bra is a bit of a mixed bag. The material of the band is very comfortable, and the "light lift" padding is great -- very comfortable, gives nice shaping without adding noticeable bulk. It seems like it should be perfect. Unfortunately, some minor details about the construction cause it not to live up to its promise (at least for me). The underwire curves down too far below the rest of the band, and starts to dig into the ribs after a little while, to the point where I find myself adjusting the bra throughout the day without ever getting comfortable. The straps are also a little too ...narrow for optimal comfort; but, worse than the width, is the fact that there is not enough friction between the adjusting slide and the strap material, so the strap loosens and elongates throughout the day, and starts slipping off my shoulders after several hours of wear. The adjusting slide is located at the back, so it is impossible to re-adjust the strap without removing the bra. I still keep this bra in rotation, but I don't reach for it often. Overall, surprisingly comfy bra. It is a pushup bra, so it is heavily padded and creates generous amounts of cleavage on my breasts (which have about 3 fingerwidths' of sternum between them); but it does so -- magically! -- without squeezing or cutting into breast tissue anywhere. I think it is the heavy padding which enables this magic to happen. Be aware that the padding adds 1-2 cup sizes to your appearance.
I've never worn it as a strapless bra, and didn't actually realize it was a convertible bra until today. This explains the one minor nit I have about this bra -- the shoulder straps are rather narrow, ...and can be a little uncomfortable sometimes. This is not a big problem for me, but I think it would be very annoying for larger-breasted women. However, due to the large amounts of padding, I think I am near the upper end of cup sizes that would find this a desirable bra.
To sum up: if you are a DDD or below, your breasts are somewhat wide-set, and you want to create lots of cleavage without sacrificing comfort, check this bra out. Read more 81 more words
I used this bra for a while. It definitely supported better than I thought! It was perfect until I outgrew it, haha. The only problem I had with it was the lace trim on the cup that I cut off. It had come undone from the stitching and bothered me. Otherwise, there are the minor stains on the armpits. The cups have shrunk a bit, I think, but fill out when worn.
Causes huge armpit rolls, which I haven't seen much of in months. Technically it fits, on the tightest hook, for now. But I hate the shape. It makes me look saggy and matronly. Or, I should say, it doesn't get rid of my saggy matronly-ness.
Apart from being the incorrect size for me, the only problems I have seen with this bra is the elastic stretching out way too fast. I've had this problem with most of my DKNY bras.
I bought this @DKNY @Qwest sports bra after I got pregnant with my now 8yo daughter and the smaller one of this same style no longer fit. It has held up quite well through another baby 5 years ago. No, this bra has not seen consistent daily wear, not until recently anyway. Now that I'm done being pregnant and breastfeeding, this bra is almost too big (too long in the straps) to wear while running, but it's good for daily wear. The only thing is that after a long day the bottom of the wires hurts my ribcage.
I have this bra in white with grey accents, and it is super cute! Unfortunately, I could only find it in a 32D, and the cups are too small on me by at least one size (maybe two). I also find most of the time that I am unable to wear balconette and balcony style bras because my nipples poke out over the top of the cups, but this one manages to keep them contained, if just barely. I still wear it sometimes under low-cut tops, though, because of how open it is - this is definitely not one to run up and down stairs in. Also, the lace piquette on the top edge of the bra mostly disguises it under shirts except where the satin ribbon accent has been added at the cup seams, which shows a lot. Overall, I think if you can find your size, this is a good bra and holds up well with hand-washing, but I wouldn't machine wash it or wear it on a daily basis.
Purchased at Ross or TJMax or Marshalls or one of those places. I really want to like this bra as it's really cute and would look great if only it fit better. Definitely too small in the cups, leaves me itching and aching at the end of the day. Time to hunt down a 36DD in this style.
This is an older bra that I originally bought for my wedding dress. I noticed it was quadboobing when I tried it on with my dress!
