I have some wrinkling at the bottom of the cups, but the cup material is so comfy I don't really mind. It's a stretchier cup than other molded bras I've worn, which makes it comfier for me but probably not ideal for bustier ladies. Love the diamond pattern in the fabric- it's subtle enough to wear under T-shirts but adds more interest than a standard flat fabric.
This bra is a bit of a mixed bag. The material of the band is very comfortable, and the "light lift" padding is great -- very comfortable, gives nice shaping without adding noticeable bulk. It seems like it should be perfect. Unfortunately, some minor details about the construction cause it not to live up to its promise (at least for me). The underwire curves down too far below the rest of the band, and starts to dig into the ribs after a little while, to the point where I find myself adjusting the bra throughout the day without ever getting comfortable. The straps are also a little too ...narrow for optimal comfort; but, worse than the width, is the fact that there is not enough friction between the adjusting slide and the strap material, so the strap loosens and elongates throughout the day, and starts slipping off my shoulders after several hours of wear. The adjusting slide is located at the back, so it is impossible to re-adjust the strap without removing the bra. I still keep this bra in rotation, but I don't reach for it often. I used this bra for a while. It definitely supported better than I thought! It was perfect until I outgrew it, haha. The only problem I had with it was the lace trim on the cup that I cut off. It had come undone from the stitching and bothered me. Otherwise, there are the minor stains on the armpits. The cups have shrunk a bit, I think, but fill out when worn.
doesn't lift my boobs up AT ALL. they literally look exactly the same. where is the cleavage i'm supposed to get in a push up? the straps are also barely adjustable, so if you're petite, forget it. kind of a cheesy print in person; i'm not a teenager anymore.
gorgeous bra. nice tight band gives great support and uplift. bumpy lace makes it really hard to wear under clothes even sweaters. i'm keeping it because the fit isn't that uncomfortable, and it gives me the best cleavage i've ever seen.
This makes my boobs look HUGE. Like I feel like I'm lying to the world. Will save this for special occasions. Comfortable enough, though there is quite literally an inch of padding around most of the cups. Also kind of squeaky.
I have bottom-heavy, wide set breasts, so plunge bras are not usually my friend. However, this bra fits pretty well and I think it has a lot to do with how close set the center gore is. The cups are a little bit loose at the edge so I don't end up with any quadraboob. My main problem is the band. Because this is a front closure bra, it's not adjustable and feels uncomfortable after a few hours, though the upside to this is that the band wont stretch out anytime soon.
Purchased this before trying to figure out my size and realizing a band size of 26 or 28 would usually be more appropriate for my frame, but it felt fairly firm as far as 32s go. I've since attempted tailoring the band to my frame (bringing in both the center gore and the band at the back) with reasonable success; it's one of the more comfortable bras I have now. I won't, however, base the review on the way it fits now that's it's been altered. Fit issues are based on the bra before my alterations.
Pros:
*The pattern is cute. It's a black plaid cup with black lace along ...the top. *If you have a more petite frame (like me) the half-cup style should work well for you. *It has a relatively low center gore, which is also nice. *The cup is not particularly stiff, but it is (I guess) moulded because it is one continuous piece. It gives a nice rounded shape under clothing. *The band of course was way too big on me, but measured right at 32. It's not overly stretchy, so it doesn't feel like it will stretch out too quickly.
Cons:
*The straps are not fully adjustable, which could be an issue for some. *The lace along the top of the cup, while cute, is visible under tighter clothing. It would be a better t-shirt bra without the lace.
Overall, it's a cute bra, gives good shape, and probably good for petite frames despite the limited adjustability of the straps.
