Same as the other reviews. Except this bra has the original terrible straps. I rarely wear this bra since it forces me to have to try and keep my chest very high up and my chest still spills out the top. 52N is rated for 27.5 pounds and my chest is 35 pounds. That means the weight of my chest pulls the cups downward BUTTTTTT there is ZERO give in the straps or the material and it absolutely destroys your shoulders and back as it digs in. The built-in shoulder pads plus additional shoulder pads do make a difference but.. it is not a fun experience.
I will say this bra is so-so. It is extremely firm for a soft cup. I am talking about the construction and not breaking it in. I have had this bra for over a decade and it is "stiff". I mean there is no give in any of the material. The original straps have no give at all, they are a thick polyester cotton blend. The bottom of the bra does a poor job at hugging your body. I wear this around my stomach so for me it means the cups are overfilled and it provides the right amount of support that I need. Wearing this with the original straps is very uncomfortable. With nice (normal) elastic bra straps it transforms the bra and removes some of the stiffness of the design. There is a beautiful jacquard pattern all across the bra. It is visually very nice but the Kaylee (which looks bland) is a vastly superior bra. I would only recommend this to large chested women that have limited shopping options.
The Kaylee is one of the best fitting bras. It is not particularly attractive but it checks every box. The original straps are VERY firm, to the point there is ZERO stretch. So I always have those replaced with double-lengthed elastic straps. There are built-in shoulder pads, which is a nice touch. This is a soft cup so there is no gore/wire issue. Fitment is great if you order the correct size. This 50O is rated for 13.8 pounds per cup (27.5 pound breasts) and the design is well throughout. The bands are extremely wide and the 7 hooks allows the band width to be maintained. This means ...with heavy chests the band will not ride up your back. These bras were clearly designed by women with large heavy breasts and that is so rare to find! I wear this bra around my stomach and it is very comfortable and helps manage the weight of my chest nicely. It provides "some" support as the material and the elastic strap allows for bounce. The stock Kaylee has no give, it is a very firm bra. Read more 76 more words
Although it has been over 10 years since I owned this bra, it is still readily available so I will share my thoughts on it. I stopped wearing these bras prior to joining BTB so cannot provide pics or measurements. Before discovering BTB and especially UK bras, my world revolved around Elila and Goddess. So so glad I discovered this place and the wealth of information here.
This mocha Elila 1305 bra, was one of about 5 that I wore of various colors from 2005 to 2012. It was a non wired soft cup with a foam insert inside the cup.
What I liked most about the bra was ...the padded color coordinated shoulder straps, something I wish all bras had. The comfort from the shoulder strap cushions was very helpful and they also kept the straps in place.
What I liked least was the lack of support I experienced. The sturdy materials, the stiff straps, shoulder pads and foam insert helped a lot but are not up to the task compared to a good quality underwire. I also dis-liked the rather matronly appearance of this bra.
When I first purchased this bra, it was available up to US K cup which is equivalent to UK H cup. It was definitely too small in the cup but Elila certainly surprised me when they made the jump to the US N cup, which is equivalent to a UK JJ. I just checked the Elila home page and they now offer the 1305 in a US O cup which would make it a UK K cup. I may try one for old times sake but I suspect that this non wired will still be uncomfortable to this day. Read more 175 more words

This bra, especially the lilac version was my favorite for so long. It is a non wired soft cup with a foam insert inside the cup.

This bra has better support than any bra I've worn, even underwires bras. It has a very firm band some might find tight or restrictive but it really is ALL about the support. I wear breastforms which are not attached and if a bra does not provide a lot of support they will shift out of place if you move wrong. Not with is bra! The wide back and 5" side stays give support to even my 40E breastforms and the wide non-stretch straps with front adjusters are comfortable while holding the cups up in place. It really is the best I've found.
fyi ewa michalak's FB line - which costs a lot more htan that and has wires - would probably fit also. I wear the smallest of the FBs and its my most comfortable bra - but very firm wires
Must go down a cup size and up a band size or two. Usually I wear a 40 or 42 in a I or J cup. Bra need a few day to get used to. I found after a few days, bra has fantastic support. Wide Straps and Back, no shoulder pain. Inner sling in cups give the support for large and heavy breasts.
Runs small, 40 band size stretches to a max of 40", which really squeezes. A little breathing room would be nice, and the material doesnt seem to stretch much over time either. Fabric is incredibly itchy and doesn't breathe at all. Overall a very suffocating bra. I will say though, it held up well through a few accidental trips through the laundry!
Been wearing back hook version of this bra for over 10 year. Do not like fit of Front Hook, even though it is easy to put on. Wear occasionally when need a bra in Black. Give good support, but not that comfortable.
Purchased for holiday party wear. Great Support, no sway, flattens tummy, and hide back fat.. Very comfortable for longline bra, made my clothes fit better. Well made, embroidered cups are a nice touch! and I feel beautiful wearing this bra.
The bra was bought for a very busty family member who has never in her life had a bra that fit. This bra was the closest I've ever seen though. The bras material isn't very soft, but there aren't any wires so she said it was comfortable.
The band size for a nonwired (softcup) bra is the maximum stretch. Thus if you want a nonwired bra to fit comfortably, you need the next size up. That would also mean you need to go down in cup size to compensate. In the case for Elila, I would go down TWO sizes! The material was very scratchy as well.

Alright, this is my first time wearing this thing all day. Man, is it solid! The thing is like a bulletproof vest! It really keeps my boobs quite still. I wonder if it could be used as a sports bra? I suddenly feel motivated to play some Wii Fit. As I mentioned in a prior adventure, the cups are very pointy downy, which lessens when I pull the tops of the cups way up. I must remember to tighten the straps when I take it off (I'm not flexible enough to do that while it's on). If that doesn't help, I may attempt to move the drop-cup apparatus ...up higher on the strap. Someone posited on an adventure I shared about this bra that the cups are too big owing to wirefree bras being based on old-school +4 patterns. I plan to someday try more wirefree Elila bras in more of a 36K range.
Edit: I notice now that I'm getting some weird quadboobing where the thicker dropdown and the thinner outer cup meet. Also, when I lift my boobs, the band follows. I don't understand this bra. Read more 79 more words
