This bra was one of the first post surgery plunge bras that I bought. I felt more sexy than in a long time. The seamless cups have built-in push-up pads that helped supplement some lost volume from my rapid weightloss. Its perfect for low necklines, thin fabric and clingy knits. It made me feel very confident and sexy. And I know its silly but I love love love the little corset laceup detail. Too bad Elomi doesn't make bras for my new body type.
Be careful with that confidence though, popping out may happen when alcohol is involved!
This is a pretty comfortable bra, however I feel I need to come down a size in the back and probably cup-up (38H)
This is a lovely full coverage bra though and for someone with a large set of breasts, this is a very nice non-jiggle option. I LIKE the shape - but it is quite high and pointy. I do find that after a while the wire on the side pokes me a bit, but I feel this is my fit issue on the bra back. I like his bra. I feel it offers me excellent support, also.
I actually really like this bra. Too bad it doesn't actually come in my size. I think I will see if I can pick it up on sale, though, and tighten the band up with some stitches so that it will fit. The cup fits well. It fits very similarly to my Goddess Kiera's, I think it's pretty much the same basic shape but with pretty patterned material and lace detailing on the cup edges. It features my favorite feature, the side support panel. (Although I could use a little bit more coverage on the outside edge of the cup.) Like the Kiera, it creates a natural, slightly downward-pointing shape. Easy to wear, but certainly nothing too fancy. I think the center gore is a bit lower than the Kiera, which I really like.
I really, really wish Elomi (and Goddess) would make more sizes. I would love to see everything come at least down to a 34 band, 32 even better and up to a K cup.
This bra is extremely difficult to fasten due to the vertical width of the band and it having 4 hooks. It's hard to say what I think about this bra because it doesn't really fit right. (As usual, I would do much better with something like a 32K, but it doesn't come any smaller band or bigger cup.) The material is thick and fairly stiff, which is good for a sports bra, it helps make it pretty suppportive. The straps are relatively close together, and slightly pointed in, which I actually like for the purpose. I really can't get past how hard it is to put on (and even to take off) without yanking the hooks out of their attachment.
I love this bra. It actually makes my boobs sit in front of me instead of wide. It's definitely no push-up, but as an every day bra, it's perfect. Definitely buy it snug because it will stretch in the band.
This bra really keeps me in and up. I like it for blouses, t-shirts, and when I want to be really perky. The design on top does show with tight outfits. I don't like wearing it in hot weather. It's so close to the body, I can't wipe the sweat away easily. I wash it on delicate in the washing machine.
You could check out the Elomi Smoothing 3911 - that one doesn't show under clothing as much. Unlike the Elomi Smoothing 1220 the 3911 is unpadded and thus easier to wash. Also the Elomi Asia is a printed version of the Smoothing 3911 but the shape is slightly different.
Best nursing bra I've found. Fabric is soft and comfortable. Lift is better than other nursing bras I've tried. Can open the cups one-handed but need both hands to do them up again. Good support. Soft cup, no underwire. Does not show through t-shirts.
I like this bra, but it is simply too small for me in 40 GG. I think that in 40 GG it contains the same wires as the Elomi Smoothing Plunge in 40 G, this is what gives me all kinds of problems with this bra. First the wires are narrower than those of the Elomi Cleo Side Support in 40 GG to begin with (which are also too narrow for me), second the wire ends inside the wire tube in the center gore. This causes some poking into the breasts. If the wire tube was filled completely (as it is in 40 H) it would be fine. The center gore also is wider than average, which I find uncomfortable. Part of it might have been that the fabric that forms the center gore panel stretched out. When I wear the bra my boobs push the center gore together and it forms a fold, so it is ok, but not great.
It feels so soft that I didn't think it was supportive enough, but there's some kind of inner sling that does hold me up. Mainly I think it's just that I'm still getting used to bras that don't feel as if I've strapped myself into armour. I only bought the bra yesterday as of this writing, but having worn it for a day I'm now pretty sure this bra was worth the $50 that I paid.
Pro: lovely embroidery; keeps the girls centered & out from under your arms.
Cons: the band was huge & loose, & the fabric extremely rough & uncomfortable. There was no lining, so picture the underside of embroidery, & that's what's resting against your skin.
Not sure why some one would vote my review down ? It is MY review ..So after 4 time wasting it it lost its shape the band stretched and rode up had to go on tightest hook .....felt good looked good and supportive first time worn by the 4th Time it was warn out like I had been waring it for months bad fabric bad construction ..my original review stays ELOMI SUCKS .......ps not first ELOMI I've bought thought maybe it was the style but nope same thing different styles not willing to give any more $ to that company......lots more other company's out there .....
this is tight everywhere even though i got measured as being a 36g this snashes top of boobs somewhat but i cant find anything that fits better and gives cleavage i also have breast implants.
The Elomi Libby is supposed to be very similar to the Caitlyn, which does come in a 34JJ.
