This was another attempt to make my non-Elomi shape boobs fit into an Elomi bra. The feedback I was getting from Breakout Bras was “Your tissue and frame suits the Elomi plunge bra shape really well, with exception of that really full at the arm crease coverage you're getting from the side of the cups (and the wrinkling).”
So I ordered quite a few bras in different plunge styles and sizes. This was one of the worst but also best. The gore is fairly low (sorry, another one I forgot to measure). The band is a comfortable shape and holy smokes, look at how low it is ...under my arm and at the wing! I think this is the lowest I’ve had an Elomi cup come on the sides, which is great. The material also feels very nice.
Not so great: lack of immediate projection, cups too separate, and straps too wide. I would also say the quadding is an issue, but I think most of that would be fixed if my boobs had somewhere to go at the wire. Read more 73 more words
-Fits but mleh shape -Not as forward as I like -Feels almost minimizing -Gore tacks but then floats after movement -Band perfectly snug -Feels more full cup than I'm used to
Not a good fit for my shape. Very East-West, it’s like the cups are so wide and separated that it shaped me weird. Not a big fan of the embroidery(?) on the top of the cups either. Even if it did fit, I wouldn’t like it because of that. The gore is nice and low which is a plus, but again because it doesn’t suit me it doesn’t matter how the gore fits lol. This was an eBay purchase. Listed for sale because it’s just not “me” plus the fit isn't right.
The beige/“Dune” colorway fits worse than the black one. It’s baggy on the sides/under the arms, and wrinkles way more. It’s not my favorite for sure, and even though it’s heavy in my rotation right now, once I’m able to replace it this is honestly next on my list to go!
The 34" band fits comfortably/snugly on the loosest hooks. The bottom of the cups are well filled but there is minor wrinkling at the top of the cups. The gore tacks. Unfortunately the wires are much too wide for me, they reach all the way to my back past my underarms. The side fabric is much too tall and ends up folding over itself where it touches my Tail of Spence. It also wrinkles quite significantly along the side seams on both sides. The fabric is nice and soft, quite satiny. I will be returning this bra.
Giving this bra another test wear. It feels pretty good so far (it's still early in the day) and I'm honestly in love with the colour and embroidery. Sadly, I've found that any bra that feels good at the wires and armpits tends to do a spilly on me, as I'm sure this one will do as today wears on.
This is a lovely bra, but too shallow for me. With adjusting it fits all right, but with wear the bra sinks out of my IMF and begins to cut across the top.
I ordered this bra in a 34HH. I've been losing weight so my size is changing frequently. It was the most comfortable bra I've ever tried on, but unfortunately it doesn't come in the size I need. I found that the cup ran a bit big, and I had to hook the 34 on the tightest hook. That gave nice support with no digging in. The straps are surprisingly comfortable and didn't dig in to my already grooved shoulders. I ordered two in 32H's and will alter the band as needed because this bra is so comfy!
This bra is lovely. The color way is so nice, with the pink lace and mint bottom. It's also very comfortable. I really should go up a cup size, it's a 34HH, and I really need a 34J. The only reason it works is because the lace on the top is extremely stretchy, hiding a too small cup. The profile I get from this is a bit more pointy than I prefer, and the wires are very far back. The very wide (almost to my back) seem to be pretty standard in the Elomi "side support" types. Overall, this bra works, so I keep it in rotation even though I should have a different size.
This is an amazingly comfortable bra, even though it doesn't quite fit. I get the lovely quad boob https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> and the center gore was just a bit wide and slightly pokey. Otherwise it felt great on, the wires didn't lay on my ribs or jab my pits. The band was very supportive, yet soft and comfy with no cutting in. The shoulder straps were soft yet firm and almost unnecessary with the support that the band and underwires provided. The cups were smooth and soft, but the upper sheer part of the cup cut into my tissue causing quad boob. My only other issue would be that the cups seem somewhat far apart for my boobs. I am still considering ordering up one cup size because it was so comfy and would be perfect under T's because of the smooth cups.
This is my daily bra, because it is the best I have now. I am also new to this whole bra search, and the dd myth. This bra is basically great but for one thing, the wires seems to come back on my body too far. I think the underwire is just too wide. I alway try to bend it into a thinner shape before I put it on.
