Excellent quality bra, looks great under a t-shirt. Unfortunately the cups are a bit too big for me, there is a decent amount of gapping after a few hours of wear (no gapping after first putting it on). The padding is also a bit thick, and includes extra removable padding which makes my boobs look unnaturally large lol.

I got this in Ewa's Black Friday sale. I had read a few reviews that said it ran small, perhaps just short in the cups, but since my main complaint about some of my S bras is that they're too tall I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm also a sucker for beige bras, so I was hoping it would work as a nude for me.

MY SHAPE: Narrow, projected, short roots, close set, center full, even fullness (technically FOT but my short roots make me appear even most of the time)

FIT: This fits really well! It does indeed seem to run shorter in the cups than my ... other S bras, which means IT IS AWESOME FOR ME. Usually, even in my S bras that I deem to have a good fit, I feel like my boobs are just barely tall enough to fill them to the cup edge. This bra fit me like a second skin. There is a smooth line from breast tissue to the cup. It's like the difference between regular pants and petite pants; this is a petite bra. The band is TTS, maybe just a bit more snug than some of my other S bras but quite comfortable and supportive. The straps are fine, not too wide set. After looking at the photos, I can see it's not quite as projected as my other S bras at the wire - it wants to either wrinkle or slide out of my IMF - but it's not a deal breaker for me.

APPEARANCE/QUALITY: This gives that great S shape under clothes, very uplifted, centered, and out there. Wearing S bras - including this one - make me feel like I've had a boob job. The materials are great and understated; this is a basic beige bra, no floral lace or diamonds on this bra, but everything feels very high quality. There is a large bow with a pearl charm at the gore, but that seems to be the only decoration. The exact shade of beige is a great match for my skin. I was worried it might be too dark, after seeing some pictures, but I'm very pale (Irish descent) and I think it works for me. It would also work well for people that are too tan for Ewa's other beige offerings. I've noticed many of her beige bras are actually kind of a golden vanilla color, this is closer to the color that UK brands typically use for their beige. It reminds me a lot of the standard pantyhose that use to come in a plastic egg, they were this color too! It's slightly darker than many of the beige panties I own, but not by much. The seams are all sewn on the inside so they're very flat and don't show through clothing.

OVERALL: This bra fills a pretty big gap in my bra wardrobe - regular beige t-shirt bra! I have the 75J - Comexim » Elena Plunge Bra (315) that's been converted to a nursing bra for weekends with my kids, and this one for work.

    Didn't fit

My first try with Ewa and I loved the basic shape and style, but now know this style (particularly in this size!) is definitely not for me. Additionally, there were quality issues that will make me cautious about ordering in the future.

There were some notable flaws with this bra that would have prevented me from keeping it even if it were a perfect fit. The wires were bent in different shapes. The left side wire-to-wire cup width was 7.5" while the right side was 6.5. The gore didn't lay flat and the wires jutted into my breast in a "defective" way, so ... I can't say if the wires would have been comfortable had they not been shaped so oddly.
I got this bra on ebay from a woman who had gotten it directly from Ewa Michalak but almost a year ago. She was gracious in accepting the return (I wouldn't have wanted to try to sell or exchange it here and pass on the problems, the wires could not be bent back easily and the gore issue wouldn't have been resolved even if they could have been). The seller's listing described the cups in the this bra as "small for the brand and fitting more like a 70J or 70JJ" which is why I ordered it - I'm not a 70K in recommendations but have been recommended S cuts by bratabase in 70J and 70JJ. Looking at how gigantic the fit here was, even WITH the cookies in, I find it hard to believe a 70JJ or even 70J would fit any better! I hope people who have experience with EM can let me know if the measurements I got before I returned it are actually smaller than normal for the brand. I'd also be interested to hear about the band - the bra had 3 hooks and 4 (rather than standard 3) columns and I immediately put this on the last (smallest) hooks, and it still wasn't tight. The stretched band length was 33" easily (not "hard stretching") and if that kind of stretch is consistent in this brand I'd probably go for a 60 rather than a 65. It couldn't have been caused by being streatched with wear, the bra had tags attached and had never been worn. The major problem with the fit was the top of the cups - too wide and too tall - I measured straight up from the top of my breast to the edge of the cup (height measured 8.5" at center of wire) and I had 2 inches of height that was empty space. When I measured along the inner perimeter from where my boob stopped to the edge of the cup, I had 4-5" of extra depth! There was definitely room on the outsides of the cup too, so narrower wires probably would have made the cups fill up better. I think for my next EM attempt I'll try 65HH in a CHP... or maybe 65J?

I wasn't wild about the bland color and decoration in person, and the design was a bit bulkier than I prefer, but an appropriate size wouldn't have been as overwhelming gigantic and the sturdy support and flattering shape I got a hint of will outweigh the size and quality problems and I'll definitely be trying again. I'm certain now that I need at least a 30/65 band, since every 32 band I've tried has been loose even on the smallest hooks, so that's one bra fitting issue solved at least! (Although I'd like to try comexim but their sizing system in bands and cups seems completely nonsensical! Advice?) The advice I'm giving myself is to buy from places I can easily return to until I get my sizes and cuts figured out better!

This bra's measurements have been altered
Came with cups in two different shapes, averaged for measurements since bratabase won't allow a blank. L was 7.5 and R was 6.5, wires overlapped at gore.

    • As a rule, I've found that *most* Ewas run true to size or a smidge tighter. I've never ever had an issue with the wires: I wonder if that's something the seller did for some reason trying to make it fit better. Otherwise it's odd she wouldn't say something about it.

    • That band length is oddly excessive, not typical for a 70/32 in most brands. EM, while a bit inconsistent, usually runs smaller instead of larger than average (which this is). Funny... this is the second bra in as many days that I've commented on that was weirdly large in the band! Maybe it's the wrong phase of the moon for bra bands.

    • Depth looks like 70jj to me. If it was used 33" is pretty reasonable, new the band's are usually 31-32" in my experience. I had an S have different cup widths by .5", so I guess the same person made this bra lol

It's a really good basic bra, and I absolutely love the shape this bra gives, but 70HH for my usual 30HH UK size was one size too loose in the band and 1-2 cup sizes too small in the cups. I wear it without pads and I have massive quadboobing if I scoop and swoop and slight quadding if I don't.

  5. This makes a great everyday bra! It gives great cleavage and the seams don't show thru most shirts. It's a mid-toned or slightly tan nude, but still works ok for my pale self. The band is slightly tighter than other S's, especially recent ones. The cups are also a little bit wider and smaller; I usually have to wear S bras with the cookies but this one I don't.

A perfect fit and a very practical everyday bra with subtle feminine details. Gives moderate cleavage without the pads, and incredible, extreme cleavage with. The seams don't show through thin clothing and it's overall very comfortable to wear, giving a projected and semi-rounded side profile. The band definitely runs small; this one fits more like a true 28, so if you're at the larger end of a band size I'd recommend sizing up. The cup also runs a hint smaller by maybe half a cup, which in my case means that it actually fits better than my other 30G S styles, but it may prompt others to size up instead.

This is a great, supportive t-shirt bra. The material is comfortable, forgivng of asymmetry, and a suitable "nude" for pale skin. The cup height works well for my very short roots. My first Ewa Michalak was a 65FF S Porcelanka: it was too small everywhere. This 65FF S Pralinka is also too small for me, but allows more immediate projection than the 65FF S Porcelanka. Within three minutes, however, the wires were pressing uncomfortably on my ribs. However, I'm concerned a 65G will fit better in every dimension except cup height. This is a recurring problem for me: when my short, projected breasts have enough width and immediate projection at the wire, the cup height is too tall.

I so wanted this one to work! I love Pralinka! I really prefer to wear more basic or neutral colored bras. Pralinka hits the nail on the head, it's a very pretty neutral bra. Unfortunately, the S style from Ewa just doesn't work with my anatomy. The gore is way too tall for me. My breasts are too close set for a gore this height. I really wanted to be able to wear the S style as it looks so gorgeous on many other women. This Pralinka was wore for just a few minutes and still has the tags on. It's too big in the cups for me. I'm still trying to find the right style and size for me in EM bras.

    • Have you tried a PL yet? Lowest gore, I think

    • 1

No, I haven't gotten around to trying the PL yet. But I do have a Comexim plunge that fits much better.

    • You say it's too big, and that might have something to do with the gore being too high. If you went down a size or two, then the gore would be shorter as well. Just a thought! :) Until then, yeah, you might be better off in a PL (plunge). It will have the shortest gore of all padded EM bras and most similar construction to Comexim plunges. The S bra is more like a padded balconette of sorts, although in smaller cup sizes the gore is quite low, almost like a plunge.

    • I have Szykus in a size down and it doesn't fit either. On that one, it squishes me and is super uncomfortable. It also pushes my boobs up and it honestly just makes them look weird.

  9. Love it!!! After originally getting the 65G and feeling uncomfortable with the stiff, tight band, I went up to the 70FF and am so happy. This bra basically looks like it was made for me. Wife thinks this bra makes me look like I have android boobs because the fit is so inhumanly good (also because it's flesh-colored and shiny, I guess). Gore tacks, smooth unbroken line from bra to boob -- so, so rare for me with my soft tissue.

    Didn't fit

*Disclaimer: I have a sunburn on my chest/top of my boobs, so there may be an optical illusion as to how the bra appears to fit me in some pics. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Also, my bathroom has the most unflattering lighting of all time -- everything looks yellow for some reason. The bra is actually much nicer and closer to my skin tone than the pics represent. Pics of the bra alone, which were taken on my kitchen counter, are more accurate in color. All pics were taken WITHOUT the pad inserts. Edit: I was able to take pictures in a different location ... with natural light of my 70JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Orzechowa Pralinka if you want to see a more true representation of the color.

I am a HUGE fan of medium-tone beige bras, as there don't seem to be many on the market. I have very cool, pink-toned skin, so beige bras with a yellow undertone clash with my skin and make me look washed-out. These yellow-toned "nudes" don't really disappear under thin or light clothing for me because of the contrast with my skin tone, especially in the summertime when I have a bit of a tan, as I do now. I was actually quite happy with the color of my 70J - Ewa Michalak » S Karmelki (540) and 70J - Ewa Michalak » S Rarytas (595) , but both of these bras had a shiny ribbon along the cups that created contrast. The body of the cups themselves was invisible under clothing; however, that shiny ribbon was more obvious than if I had worn a black bra under a white t-shirt. The color of my 70J - Ewa Michalak » Chp Marcepan (514) is absolutely perfect, but the lace along the edge is white, bulky and created contrast as well (you will see I later removed it.) I was very happy to finally see a medium-toned beige bra without ornamentation that could be used as a true nude for me. Yes, I know I am very fussy about "nude" colored bras!

When I saw the Ewa Michalak S Orzechowa Pralinka released, I immediately emailed to ask if it could be custom made into different cuts. I wanted this bra in every cut available. Unfortunately, I was told that it was only to be available as the S cut. Since that was the case, I decided to order 2 different sizes since I am right on the edge of where the cup construction changes. EM's bras in 70J and below (and sister sizes) are made with 3-part construction; bras in 70JJ and above (and sister sizes) are made with 4-part construction. I was hoping to use the 3-part 70J when I wanted to show a bit more cleavage and the 4-part 70JJ when I wanted more coverage and a rounded shape.

The appearance of the bra itself is quite simple but elegant. I also own Ewa Michalak Sm Cynamon (517) and compared it to this one. The material of the band and the straps is the EXACT same materials from the Cynamon. The cups seem to be made of a neutral colored foam that is covered in a translucent mesh fabric, which you should be able to see in some of my pictures. I wish the cups were covered with the same fabric as the band, but oh well. The mesh fabric doesn't seem as luxurious as some of their usual fabrics, which I guess the lower price point reflects (149 PLN instead of the 179-199 PLN that has become the norm for her padded bras.) The main difference in the 70J and 70JJ, besides the obvious 3 and 4-part cup construction, is that the 70J only has 2 hooks whereas the 70JJ has 3.

As far as the fit, I really didn't see much difference in cup depth between the 70J and 70JJ. Sure, the fit and shape are different because the cups are constructed differently, but the cup depth is nearly identical. I was hoping to have a larger bra to turn to when I need it, but it seems I would need to size up another cup (70K) to get a noticeable difference. Also, the gores on S bras never really truly tack on me due to my close-set breasts, but it's never a comfort issue. I am absolutely fine with a "soft tack" and sometimes mark my bras as fitting even when they don't truly tack.
