Very lovely bra! The Nowa Koronka has really beautiful lace and I am absolutely in love with it. A big thank you to the girl who sold it to me, if you ever read this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The band is not really stretchy at all, I find that the 26 is very comfortable for my 24 inch ribcage.
The straps are very fancy, with details woven in to prevent them from slipping. They are just a bit too thin for my taste and placed kind of far apart for this size. Luckily, I have pretty wide shoulders, but it could be overwhelming ...for anyone else.
The cups are narrower than my Ewa Michalak Chp Stalówka (307), and they feel a little less forgiving. I have a little weird quadboob thing going on near the straps area, but I am hoping that's due to the strap placement, and not the actual cups.
Overall, I am very excited to have this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> It is so pretty and well made, it will go right into my collection https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 88 more words
Pro: - It gives a fantastic lifted, up-front and rounded shape. Push breasts to the front and give nice cleavage - Comes with extra removable padding to correct my slightly small right breast. - Removable multiway straps and it has extra padding on the straps to reduce the strain on shoulder. - Low center-gore, about only 4.5cm which is good for me as it doesn't dig in. - 4 hook positions so this will extend the life of the bra.
Con: - Slightly small in cup size compared to my other Ewa Michalak bra (i.e. CH Toffik) - The seams shows thru if wearing a light material and tight clothing in the summer.
I wonder if Ewa Michalak sometimes did some sewing error. Because I found out that this bra which is suppose to be 2 cups size smaller than 28FF of another CH Onyx (http://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/ch-onyx/60FF/), has about the same cup measurement as mine.
Unfortunately too small, despite the lack of much quadboob- the cups are very open. Band is wonderful, a true 26". I definitely recommend this for shallow, full on bottom, small busts. This bra also has narrow set straps.
What a lovely bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I can't believe I have my first bra that fits!! The Chp style is very wide, I think it's almost too wide for me (as izzylawliet predicted), but it feels comfortable, and I really like the fit. If I get the opportunity, I will definitely go for CH styles next time.
The shape I'm getting is pretty forward and rounded. You would think that such wide cups would give flat shapes, but nope! It's pretty averagely projected. I also love the seams. The vertical seams work well with lifting ...my breasts, but they don't show through your average T shirt. I feel like the top of this cup (even though it's elasticated) is quite open, which gives me a teeny gap on my smaller boob when I move around.
The band runs a little tight, stretching only to 25 inches for a 26 band. It feels snug, but I will probably get 24 bands from Ewa from now on (excluding black and lace) for my 23/24 inch ribcage and use an extender at first. Read more 89 more words
I am so ecstatic for you! I'm glad you've finally got a bra that fits. I'm insanely jealous that the gore on your cup is so much shorter than on my own, but I guess that's to be expected.
Thanks izzy :)! I think 2 inches is quite tall for a gore (for me) , anything above 1.7 is generally uncomfortable, but they're placed so close together, I don't really feel anything poking or pinching :D
I am so jealous. I have a PL and that gore is barely under three inches, I think it was. My 28K CH is FIVE inches!
5 wow!! Does it hurt?? I think I would have died from a 5 inch gore by now :C
That one actually does. I constantly have to bend it outwards. I do better with a 4 which is what my 28JJ CH has. One size and it's one whole inch.
I just got this bra today, as well as a 55E that is too small for my larger breast, and I love it. I haven't truly found a soft cup bra that I loved for every reason, but this is it.
It seems that with most Curvy Kate soft cups, when I switched down from a 28FF to a 28DD (lost weight), the hooks changed from 3 to 2 hook. I really preferred the 3 hook, it cut into my back less and the 2 hook gave me a bit of back fat which was noticeable in some of my clothes. So I never wore those bras.
I requested that ...they use 3 hooks; I do not know if this is the default hook amount. This company was so helpful with my request of 3 hooks; I exchanged a few emails back and forth while picking out this bra and the service was excellent. Few bras can you request they make you a different one when you know what you don't like. It seems there is always 'something' that I don't like about most bras that I get. Not this one!
This bra is perfect for backfat. If anything, it is a bit too tight, but since every single other 28 band (minus the masquerade anise- review coming eventually) is too big, I don't mind.
I don't even find the assymetry of my breasts annoying in this bra, but it is still day one. I am very impressed with having a band size that actually fits, and breasts that are held up without any shoulder strain from hiking up the straps in a too big cup.
I will be ordering more ewa bras tonight, but now that I know my size I am going to get a couple different types.
I was sure this was a 55FF! It runs a big large. I wish I'd gotten myself the Charlie when it was available, but this one is nice. It's exactly what I'd expect from a CHP, quite open on top, good for my short roots with even fullness or when I'm more FoT. Great immediate projection. Band is rather true to size. Comfortable, the seams often do show under clothing (top of the cup, the 2 seams up the cup). I wish the straps were the wider or comfort variety, but they make do. A simply solid halfcup bra.
The straps are multiway and widen with length and are padded at the top, very comfy. Band too short for me, runs short at 24" stretched. Wings have side boning. Four columns of hooks. Has cookie pockets. open on top half-cup shape. Gore is slightly overlapped. Soft cotton comfy inner cups, outer fabric is silky with slight visibly sheen. My measurements are 26" and 34" leaning so this is too small in band and cups but I tried it on anyway with an extender so I could review it.
Open-on-top three-part half-cup shape. Cup height too short, half my boob is hanging out. Gore is slightly overlapped. Band is perfect for me. For reference I am 26" and 34" leaning.
This bra is a gorgeous teal colour and gives a nice rounded shape but isn't as projected as my M cut. There is enough room in the cups for my FOB slightly project chest. The wrapped straps are very comfortable and the gore is low enough for most shirts. My only issue is a slightly too tight band for my comfort so I wear and extender.
This bra is TTS and fits exactly the way you would expect a CHP to fit. Aside from the wide set straps, it's a perfect bra for me. I recommend it for those of up who are narrow, projected, and close set. It would fit a range of fullness levels but is especially good for FOB, in my opinion. Also, it's just so cool looking. I wear a lot of grey and I like having a bra to match.
Hi! I am gointgto buy this bra, exactly the same size as yours (our measurements are quite equal). I am also FOB and narrow. But I wonder if the gore sits perfect on you? Isn't it too high or wide?
So, I own two other CHPs and was expecting this one to be similar. Well, it is, mostly. This bra is a typical CHP -- narrow, projected, gives great cakes on a plate, puzzlingly wide set straps -- except for one thing. The band is incredibly tight. Seriously, this band runs at least a full size small. Sister size up or else you will meet the same fate as I did. I wore this bra for two hours on Thursday and then I died. Now I am a zombie who is waiting on a package of bra extenders from Amazon. So, friends, if you do not wish to become a zombie, SIZE UP IN THE BAND.
This bra is beautiful and a great summer color for me. Unfortunately the band runs very tight and I am listing it. The tight band is noted on the website but I did not realize it would be so so tight. It has little to no stretch. I have ordered a replacement in size 65DD. This one comes with removable pads and I special ordered 3 hooks which makes it less likely to move around.
This is a really nice bra. It's true to size or just slightly loose for a 26 band, and the cups fit me well with a little room left in case I want to use the push up pads. It has lots of immediate projection in the cups and gives me nice cakes on a plate up top, which is great. I really like the silhouette this bra gives me under clothes. It fastens with 4 columns of eyes, which is a nice bonus I wasn't expecting. Unfortunately the straps are wider than I'd like, which I was expecting, as this is a well known problem with EM bras in small band sizes.
Best fitting bra with my current measurements. I've been wanting to try a 26 band, and this one a just a bit too snug on me, but I love the fit otherwise. The color looks amazing with my skin tone and seems to disappear under tight shirts enough for me. This seems to be a really good shape for me - no gaping in the top of the cup like I get with halfcup bras. Definitely recommended.
-- After breaking this one in (the band was very much too tight on me but stubbornly I continued to wear it and stretch it out) I still really like the fit, but can tell that wearing the band too tight has distorted the wires and causes wrinkling in the bottom of the cups. Stretched out band prevents the cups from gaping, which is what I seem to get with other bras. Cup size down quads, correct cup size gapes.
So, I think that all of these reviews are for the same bra passed around? You guys, I'm keeping it. I love this bra!
The band is great for my 25 underbust. 28 bands ride up in both the back and front after a while.
I purchased this bra to try a 55 underband from Ewa and to gauge my cup size, but expecting the cups to be a touch too big. The cup fits nearly perfectly! My measurements point to a UK 26DD/E, so I agree these cups must run a little small. There's gaping on my smaller breast, but it is to be expected. The bra ...did not come with the padded inserts, but I do need them for one side.
The straps definitely are wide set. I understand this is a common complaint with Ewa bras. I have the inverted triangle body type, and my shoulders are proportionately broad to my frame. The straps are soft, so even though they are sitting a bit in my armpit, it doesn't cause me any discomfort.
The bra itself is a basic padded beige bra. The material is very soft and comfortable and there is a floral mesh over the cups and gore. Right on the gore is a little bow and jewel detail. It is not a very deep plunge (not sure if it is due to the size), but it does sit below my lower necklines. Read more 129 more words
I ordered this bra and the 55F - Ewa Michalak » Chp Cappuccino (317) in the same order. This one's band is tighter than the Cappuccino's, but the cups fit just as well. It seems the lace band backed with powernet is quite firm. I imagine I'll need to pick up an extender for this one, or wear it a few hours at a time until the elastic relaxes. The red color is quite bright in person, but very nice. Gives a great shape and fits me very well. I am pleased with the purchase.
I really love the CHP cut. I tried it in a 65DD (30DD) and the fit was good, but the band was way too large, even at the tightest hooks. After much waiting, my 55Fs finally arrived! They fit wonderfully and are so comfortable. The wires are a near perfect fit for my breast root. Eventually I would like to try the PL cut. I like that the gore is not too high, so it sits in a very comfortable place on my sternum. The bra itself is quite smooth under clothes and gives a really nice shape.
This is a custom made bra to my size 26F by Effuniak.
Pros: - Fit comfortably, center-gore not too high, no poke in issue. - Push breasts to the front and give nice cleavage - Very supporting - Made of good quality material that really worth the money
Cons: - The seams on the bra will show through tight-fitting and thin material clothing
It may be either a sewing or measurement error, since the 60F (http://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/ch-onyx/60F/?system=EU) says the cup depth is 8.7
