BM Fluo in 60K This one is pink. I mean really pink. Bright pink. Eye pain pink. I love the bright color! It’s truly a neon not a hot pink. I am not really a fan of pink, more of a green purple and blue gal, but let’s face it, pink is a common color in bras due to the stereotype of pink being girly. That being said, this is an awesome pink color. The lining is white which accentuates the pink nicely.
The cup construction is the typical BM style, with 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section, with a wedge area that connects ...the straps to the cups securely. The upper horizontal section is always made of a stretch lace, and this particular model has the upper lace section lined as well, which can vary by model. This lining doesn’t provide bulk, just modesty so you can’t see the nipples through the bra but does not stop them from showing through a shirt on a cold day. The BM style bra is not padded and provides full and separated coverage.
One thing that is unique about this one is that the wedge area is the non-lace band material instead of lace. This doesn’t affect the fit or wear, but was different than most of the other lace BMs so I thought it was worth mentioning.
The band measures 21.25” and stretches to 27.75”. It has the standard 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops.
The cup height is 9.5” with a width of 6.15”. The depth (measured by hovering the cups between the knees and placing a tape measure inside the cup without any resistance) is 12” and stretches over the knee to a max of 15.65” creating a very comfortable fit, though this one also doesn’t tack for me, sitting a finger’s width off the sternum. I still consider it a good fit as it’s comfortable and otherwise the cups fit beautifully. The gore is 4.25” tall and ½” wide.
My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.
I finally found an S size that feels deep enough on the bottom. This makes the straps set very wide. Compared to the two smaller sizes, the straps start literally in my armpits. The straps fold in half near the bow when I move my arms. I don’t think the S is very good for people with small bands/large cups because of this. I get a lot of gaping at the top of the cup because the straps are set too wide. This disappears if I try ...the bra on without the strap and hold it to my chest.
The straps on this model aren’t very long. I generally have to adjust the straps halfway up my back, these I have near the ring loop on the back. The straps also got wider at this size than the smaller sizes, now almost 1” wide instead of .75”.
I do think the S does live up to its designation as a supportive bra. My boobs are not going anywhere. While the S is not very comfortable, it is great for days when you need more support. Read more 97 more words
This is a PL Mak! There's only CHP Mak listed on the Ewa Michalak website, but I prefer plunge style bras, and sent them an email asking if the Mak could be made in the PL style and they said yes!
As far as immediate fit goes, the band is a perfect fit. The cups fit decently without the push up pads (the pictures added are without padding), but I fill them better when the pads are in place. The straps are pretty short, which is perfect for me because I often suffer with straps that are too long because I'm petite and my boobs are set high on my chest. I only got the bra this morning so I can't comment on the comfort too much yet, but it seems to be very comfortable so far. Looks wise, it is gorgeous! A great red color with embellished straps and a lace band to add some pizzazz to an otherwise basic bra.
Hi, I have a quick question about this bra as I'm thinking of ordering it, or something very similar.
Like you I'm petite with high set breasts, but I've had problems with other em bras rubbing and poking under my arms, do you have any of these kinds of issues with this bra?
It does come up pretty high under my arms. The sides don't cut into my armpits like other brands do (Curvy Kate balconettes are the worst offenders!) but the wires are pretty long and definitely poke me if I don't keep my tissue properly scooped at all times! The straps are also a little wider set than I'd prefer. But this is also my favorite bra at the moment!
Thanks for the info! Very helpful.
It looks like you're a similar shape to me just bigger, I think I'll give this a miss and find something a bit less poky.
Another one of Ewa's bra fails. The band stretches to 32", and the wires are wide and wrap around my sides past my armpit. This makes the cups too tall for me and I'm drowning in fabric.
The page says "the band is quite tight." Sure, if you wear a 75 it is tight.
All cups are too tall for me, but wide wires exacerbate the problem because my boobs are splayed and they just flop sideways instead of facing forward. Combined with my ski jump root shape, the bra is too tall.
Now that I've had a chance to measure it, the wires are 6.5" wide. This is very wide for Ewa. It's either very poorly sewn, or someone decided to take a 70J and slap a 60K label on it.
It's just horrible that bras with such oddities are allowed to pass quality control and be sent out when they clearly are not done correctly. Sorry you got stuck with yet another dud. :-(
I bent the wires inward and it shortened the band up quite a bit. I'm giving it a test drive today. The cups are still a bit tall, but since everything is I don't care anymore. If it stays put all day I'll at least have another wearable bra!
Awesome! I hope it lasts the full day in comfort. 🍀
*crosses fingers* I hope it works out for you.
I know sometime back when I ordered my last set of 65's they stretched to a round a max of 27 point something inches...so although not ideal, maybe a 65 can work? (this is of course assuming they continue with that trend) since their 60 band is being wonky. But then their wires may be too wide for you :/
Ewa is so inconsistent in her band sizes. 🙄
They all are nowadays, so at least Ewa is consistent at being inconsistent! 😄
Just a mini review! This one is a bra swap, I sent my Antonina 60K to Sovavosi, who in turn sent me hers. Mine works better for her since it was a shorter cup, and hers will work better for me (since I need a taller cup) if I happen to lose breast mass. Win Win situation.
Additional information for measurements: Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 12.5” 2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. ... This measurement is: 16”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure. I love Antonina. So much that I'm thinking about selling my 65FF and re-ordering in 65G.
It is a nice one-my favorite light colored bra. I love the tan accents, it adds so much elegance to it. 😍
I have this one in 3 sizes, haha. Too small, bit too small, & a bit too big. 😄 I even considered getting it in the next size up just in case of future swell and growth, but that might be overkill.....
MamaPagan I felt guilty for having such an obsession...until I met you lol You're my "a bra for every day of the month" bosom friend pun intended ;)
Indeed! 😍💕😍💕😍
Win win!
We got to take those bra wins wherever we can get them, right? :-D
I had 3 separate bras made into S shapes from Ewa Michalak. I always, always thought this one ran small, and now that I've actually take the time to measure it, I can see that it does, but not in the places I expected. It's the band that's tiny. I must have been straining the poor underwires when I wore it. I always had quad-boob too. It was a nightmare, but I love the color.
BM Fioletowy is an unpadded Purple full lace bra. It is normally a Bra Obsessed exclusive, but since they didn’t have my size, I asked Kaśka if I could order it in 60K direct and was told yes. This is my second attempt with Fioletowy, the first being 60JJ reviewed separately.
The band measures 21.5” and stretches to a max of 29”. It has the standard 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

While this fits far better than the 60JJ I tried, it is still not a perfect fit, without tacking. I can wear this (at least during the current low tide) but I will ask again for this one in a 60KK and hopefully there is enough material available for it to be made.
So far I’ve tried 18 BMs, and of the 11 60Ks only 3 do a nice full tack. I really need to stop ordering the 60Ks first, now that I can honestly say I get a better fit with the 60KK overall.
BM Crazy in 60K My first thought when receiving Crazy is that the Teal is darker than the stock photos showed; while the pink is lighter/brighter (less “Hot” Pink more neon pink.) The lining on the inside of the cups and band is black, which adds to the darkening effect of the teal I believe.
While this teal is still pretty, I don’t like it quite as much with this pink as I thought I would from the stock photos. Keep in mind that I am not a fan of the color pink in general (though I keep buying bras with pink on them haha) so if this color ...combination works for you that’s great. ☺ Honestly, I only got this one because I was tired of waiting for La Gloria to come out, and I really liked the teal color.

The band on this one measures 21.75” & stretches to 29.75”. It has 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops, which is the standard for this size range.

This one is big in the band, but fits nicely in the cups, except as I’ve come to realize that like most of my bras, it does not tack. With some experimenting lately, I’ve found the 60KK BM fits similar to the 60K, but with a bit more coverage and a slightly better tack, so to get a better fit, I’d need to get this one in 60KK. I think I will hold off with this one and just buy La Gloria in 60KK instead when it comes out. ☺
BM Klejnot is an unpadded black lace with silver-grey flowers on it. Like all BMs, it has stretch lace on the top horizontal section, and normal non stretch material in two sections below. It also has a wedge area that connects the straps to the cup, so 4 sections in all. The band has no lace on it, and as with most Ewa bras without lace on the band, it is a bit stretchier than it should be. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops, which appears to be standard for my size range. The BM tends to run larger in the cup than Ewa’s ...padded bras, and it is usually advised to order a size down from your normal Ewa size.
For specifics, the band measures 22.25” and stretches to 29” which is a bit more than expected of a 28 band. The cups have a width of 6” (standard), a height of 10.3” (taller than usual), and a width of 12.3” to a max of 15”. The 12.3” is measured with the cup hovered between the knees and the tape measure lightly placed in the cup without any resistance, while the 15” is measured by placing the cup over the knee (with tape measure still in the cup) and then stretching the cup over the knee as far as it will go. I feel this gives you a true representation of both the minimal and maximum that the cup will hold. Since the database only allows for one measurement, I am opting to enter the max, as I feel it is more important of a figure than the flat conservative measurement. As for the gore, it has a height of 4.25” and is spaced at .44” wide.
For me, this one fit like the BM Bibi Black, with a soft tack and a comfortable natural looking fit. I am almost tempted to try this one in a cup smaller to see if the shape becomes more rounded, as the stretch lace on top should allow more flexibility before quadding. In comparison, BM Kleks was a tighter feeling fit in both the cup and band (being a full lace band it was expected) and definitely couldn’t be sized down, and if anything should be sized up in the cup. To compare to Ewa’s half lace cup of BM Bibi Czarny Tulipan, I got that one in a cup size larger and it fits a bit snugger in the cup than this Klejnot.
Overall, Ewa’s straps are wider set than I’d prefer, but it’s more of the high straight curve of the cup side that’s the issue. If they were shaped more curved like a ”J” than straight like “/” I feel it would be less of an issue for most high set & narrow shouldered women. It’s what I call the jumping the curve instead of rounding the corner issue.
I wanted to have this bra for so long, and I bought it for myself. and I wish the cup fits perfectly, but it was too big in the center. although the wire was great and nice. I don't regret it, but just sad that it didn't fit. still it's so much worth to have nice pretty bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'll alter the cup by myself soon.
Band felt okay. Cups look alot better than they feel. I feel there's more issues under the material than the cup actually shows, because I feel pinching. The cup is more on par with a KK than a K cup. As with Bibi black and Bibi Scarlet, I don't like the look.
I think it looks so good on you! 💕 Sorry it felt less than ideal. I feel your pains literally, as the 60KK BMs are painful for me due to the bottom of the cups not having enough space.
How it feels matters more than how it looks regardless of what Ewa wants to believe.
I don't care for the way this one looks on me. I get quadding on my larger side, but wrinkling on my smaller side. The band is a bit firm on me as well. Not willing to try it again as it reminds me of my two or three other Bibi black failures and they problems they gave me.
This bra was my first Ewa bra fail. Sorry it didn't work.
It's an odd fit haha. I'm sorta glad it didn't fit. I have a love/hate relationship with this one 🤣
I'd love to get this again if it did fit. It's kind of a revenge on the bra thing for me. The openness of the top of the cup is meaningless to me so it'd probably never fit, sadly.
I feel you. I had a bad run in with when I was pregnant. I think I tried a 70KK and then a 75KK? The stuff of nightmares. Quadding. East west look. Band riding up. It scarred me 🙃
Mine was the cups so big that it looked like a little kid trying on mommy's bra. 🙁
The cups seem almost rounder than my last few BM attempts. It has more of a pre-2018 construction to me. I always got a rounded, yet east-west look, which is possibly why I didn't care for the BM's before ha. Band felt firm too. Just an okay for me. I wouldn't try it again in a bigger size :/
It's no longer available anyway, so it's a good thing you aren't wanting it larger. 😄 Fits like the 60KKs though, right?
Yes! But also, not quite as large. It's weird haha
It's like the top is more open. Definitely not a TTS 60K that is for sure.
Yep. It fits similar to the red half lace Bibi. It has the more rounded shape, but the seams of this one and Bibi cut in more than the newer BM's. Not sure what they fixed, but it works for me! :)
I don't think it's a newer vs older model thing, I think it's a seamstress and fabric flexibility thing. 😄
I got this one along with Kleks and Zenith. I really like this bra (it’s beautiful!) but found the lace at the bottom a little bit itchy. (Same level as Panache Jasmine to me) The stretch lace on top was really soft, and could have been a bit more supportive. To me, it felt like it ran a little small, but we’ll see when I measure it.
