I heard this bra ran large in the band, so I ordered it in a 65H instead of the 70GG I’d normally go for. After trying it on, I’d say it runs extremely large! I can fasten it on the tightest hooks straight away and it would go a lot further if there were any hooks left...
The cup is weird on me. I’m almost spilling out of it at the top, but then I can’t quite fill it at the armpit side, and there’s also some gaping in the middle on my smaller breast (much more than it looks on the picture). The centre gore is far from ...sitting against the sternum – on the contrary it’s digging into my boobs.
The shape is fairly nice, and it looks okay from the front and the side. And for a nude bra, it isn’t as granny-looking as it could be, which definitely is a plus.
Edit: I requested fitting help and got a tip from Vee to bend the wires inwards, so that the gore would sit flat against my chest. That solved most of the problems! Obviously, the gore now lays flat, and there's no gaping in the middle, nor is there any spilling. The uplift and support is now very, very good!
The band will most probably be too large in the near future, but then I'll just have to narrow it. Now, as new, it's still snug enough. The wrinkling in the armpits is also still there, but I can live with that.
I changed comfort from Meh to Good.
Edit2: Even though the straps are fully adjustable, the embroidery on the straps is very uncomfortable against the shoulders, so I needed to shorten the straps to get just the flat side against my shoulders. I also altered the band to stay a bit more snugger. But now, after this fair amount of tweaking (band, straps, gore), this bra is one of the most comfortable ones I've ever owned, so I guess it was worth the trouble! Changed comfort to excellent. I originally did a review for size 65GG in detail, found here: http://bra.pe/X4hl/ All pictures of size 65H taken without cookies.
Due to my bust size increasing despite my weight remaining the same, I decided to add a 65H to my bra wardrobe. While my 65GG’s get a lot of use, when I’m on my monthly cycle, I’m busting out the bra. The quality is on par and I get the same band fit with this size. I appreciate the fuller coverage this size provides. Tho without the cookies I do get some slight gapping when I lean over and bring my arms out in front of me. Of course this will probably not be the case when I’m on my cycle. Ugh the issues of being between sizes in some things. Super annoying to have to own the same thing in two different sizes, but it’s better to have fit over quantity I guess.
Is a BM style, but gives a more rounded shape similar to the SM style. Double layer mesh cups provide great support and excellent cleavage without padding. Top panel is stretch lace. My larger side has a bit of overflow, but not enough to justify going up a cup. Band is tighter than most Ewa Michalak bras. The mesh is a bit uncomfortable. Lace does show up in thinner fabrics. Perfect for narrow rooted breasts with projection. Unsure if would repurchase, but would choose size 60HH instead as the band is too big.
Excellent bra that gives a nice rounded shape. Thin mesh allows it to be worn under most fabrics. The mesh is a bit uncomfortable but because it's sturdy it gives great shape and support. I have some overflow on my larger side, but not enough to go up a cup. Great for narrow rooted breasts with projection. Would repurchase again in size 60HH as the band is too big.
I've never owned a bra that was this beautiful. The red with black overlay and jewel detail would make anyone feel sexy and like they could take on the world. @Ewa Michalak SM style gives a nice rounded shape and "cakes on a plate" style cleavage. Better for thicker fabrics as the lace can show in thinner fabrics. I do have a bit of overflow on my larger side, but nothing too drastic. Good for narrow rooted breasts with projection. Would repurchase again, but in size 60HH as the band is too big.
Very very soft! Not as pink as I was afraid it might be. Straps are stretchier than I like, as well as the band, minus the elastic on the band. I prefer a more even firmness to a band, while this bra is very stretchy there, but the 3/8-1/2" elastic on the bottom is very snug, leaving the whole bra wanting in support.
I got this off eBay and not entirely sure of the size, since the sizing info has worn off the tags. It fit a bit snug in the beginning, but now that I've lost weight the band fits beautifully (but I like my bands tight). Cups are good, but may be a tad too big.
Pretty nude bra. Simple, yet still beautiful and well made, and good support. Just a touch big in the cup for me (I sized up thinking the bra ran small, but I believe this one fits as a true 65 H ewa)
I placed an order for a custom 65H SM Wróżka and SM Czarna Mgiełka on 5.21.14 and received them both today, 6.14.14.
I'm not sure what to think about this particular bra. There's something off about it when I compare it to my other SM bras. Even though this is supposed to be a cup bigger than my Burek and others, it feels almost a cup too small and too big at the same time. The gore does not want to tack at the top. I can easily fit my index finger between it and my skin, sideways, but the top of the cup wrinkles. Both problems vary ...as I move around, but are never completely remedied. I don't know if they made a mistake while sewing it, if it has to do with the materials it's made out of, or if it's just not cut the same as other SM's. From my limited bra knowledge, I would guess that there isn't as much immediate projection. It seems like they took the fabric meant for the bottom and added it to the top of the cup instead.
I suppose I could put a stitch in the top of the cup to help with the wrinkling, but that does nothing for the gore. When I press the gore flat, there's no quadding but a smidge of wrinkling. I'm really leaning towards a lack of projection... or maybe the wires aren't as firm?
Aside from all that, the bra is beautiful and feels rather sturdy, but is a bit itchy all over. I'm sure it would soften with wear. Also, The band feels a little firmer than usual, almost uncomfortably so. That might just be intensified by the itchyness, though.
I don't know what I'm going to do with this one. I might have to ask around and figure out if I want to sell or keep it. If I'm being honest with myself, though, if it doesn't fit more closely to perfect and is itchy, I'm probably not going to wear it. At least not often.
Edit: Decided to sell this one. There's too much wrong in terms of fit that there's no point in keeping it. Read more 254 more words
I placed an order for a custom 65H SM Wróżka and SM Czarna Mgiełka on 5.21.14 and received them both today, 6.14.14.
This is definitely the better of the two bras I custom ordered. I had it's sister the Nana in 65GG and it was a cup size too small for me. This one is nearly perfect. The gore tacks most of the time, there's no quadding or wrinkling in the cups and the band is delightfully snug without restricting my breathing. The gore is a teensy bit low for my breasts so I expect I'll need to check on it a few times during wear, but I ...tend to do that even on bras that I never have to worry about (Marcie and Alexa), so I don't mind. I do think the SM style isn't a perfect fit for me, having tried so many of them now, but I'm marking this as a fit since it's so close.
Czarna is beautiful, comfortable and doesn't itch. I think this is my new favorite... with Cynamon as a close second. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 79 more words
This bra has been always too small and too tight. I got it from other Bratabase user, it was in not the best condition and color (it was washed in the washing machine). I uses some tea leaves to change the color, so bra is a little bit darker now. Amazingly it still gives great shape and support!!!
The last rows of hooks is a little bit damaged - previous owner was bigger then 65-75cm under the bust.
This was the first @Ewa Michalak bra I purchased, before I was familiar with the fit of this brand. I wear a 30H or 32GG in most British bras (@Freya, @Fantasie, @Panache), but I found this 30H band incredibly tight. Even with an extender, I found this bra hurt my ribs. I also found the cup shallow, as I was pillowing over the top of the bra, and the wires were felt a bit narrow on my somewhat broad breasts. I think this bra would had been great in a cup and band size up (the 32H).
First of all, this is huge on me. The cups are my fault (I overestimated how many cups to go up from the too-small CH Lato), but the band is EM's fault- it's much longer than any other EM bra I've tried (including one 32 band). It stretches to 10 cm longer than the S. Fresh, which is a proper 30 band. That's why I'm calling it only Okay quality.
That said, I love it. I had to ditch the comfort straps and tighten the regular straps most of the way, but eventually I got a pretty good fit, with just a bit of gaping at the top.
The lift I get is amazing. I wore this to work my first day back from a 2 week holiday, and I'm sure some people thought I'd gotten a boob job.
Yess, it fits! I have this in 70G, too, but it’s waaay too large in the band (despite my alteration) and just a tad too small in the cups, so I ordered it in 65H.
I was afraid a 65H would be too large in the cups, as the 70G wasn’t ridiculously small, but luckily it’s not bad! For the part of my larger boob the cup is just fine, but for my smaller maybe just the tiniest bit too large. That, however, I can correct with the pad, so no problem there. The wires are wider than I would need, but I don’t get any wrinkles and ...it isn’t uncomfortable, so I don’t see it a problem.
The band is snug enough! And it has three hooks! So two mega pluses for me. I started wearing it on the loosest hooks and that feels fine. It has a whole four rows, so hopefully it won’t wind up too big in the too near future.
The shape is really nice, not as projected as the 70G, but a bit more rounded and ‘gathered together’, and it also feels more supportive than the 70G.
The removable straps are a great idea, but the comfort straps have a weird issue: they slip right off! The ‘hook’ is somewhat wider than in the 70G comfort straps, so I tried the 70G straps, and luckily they stick like glue. So basically no problem for me, as I had one pair of extra straps. Still a shame since I’ve shortened the ones I had and planned using the new ones as racerback straps, but obviously that won’t work since the straps refuse to stay attached to the cups.
I like the details (buttons at the front), and I also ordered the matching briefs. The set is simple and stylish, I like https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 201 more words
