I really like this bra! I think SM might be my best EM fit (though I don't always like to wear unlined bras). I do find that its a bit snugger in the band than most of my EM bras though. However its also narrower in the cup than my S bras, and it has the best tack for me of any bra I've tried.
currently this size fits me best, but I wear 70HH and 70J with varying cleavage/quadding lol. Its a bit frustrating, I get cleavage and/or quadding on these sizes, but if I try to wear an actual bra in a comparable size its so full coverage... -_-' youd think this style bra would squish my boobs to the sides more than a wired bra would.
I picked up this older BM on a recent clearance sale, hoping to FINALLY have a simple, well-fitting beige bra! Every beige bra I have bought fails in some way, including the first BM I bought, 70HH - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Beżowa Perła (533) , which was really too small in the cups when I got it, and I've grown since then.
This . . . doesnt quite do the trick.
I DO think that this BM is deeper than my last BM, my 75J - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Fuksja. It seems nicely ...projected. But the cups seem slightly small - i quad a tiny bit on my bigger side. (granted this was during the fullest time of the month).
But worst of all - the band is WAY TOO SMALL!! This is even smaller than my 70J - Ewa Michalak » Sm Fiolecik (642). The unstretched length is abotu a third of an inch smaller and the stretched is a half inch smaller. I've accepted wearing my Fiolecik with an extender because I'm still SO in love with that bra . . . but I'm not entirely sure I'm prepared to do it again.
I strongly suspect this is a faulty bra. When I look at others of this model, the band was close to the expected size, and the website describes it as a normal band. But this is 2 inches smaller than it should be.
Its a nice bra. Neutral with that cute blue lace, and the cute little pearl like the Perla. For some reason I dont find it quite as lovely as the Perla, I'm not quite sure why.
Wow, band looks way too small for a 70. It's a shame cuz the cups fit you so nicely. maybe shoot her an email and see if anything can be done? Your cat is very cute by the way :)
He demands that we pet him while he sits on the bathroom sink. Master bath or downstairs half bath will do. He wont sit on the bed or a lap. Silly cat.
It's beautiful .. I cannot figure out ew sizing enough to order one myself lol but if you decide to list it I would be interested in trying it I think it might be close to my size .
This bra looks really good on you. Gives you a nice shape.
This is a typical "old school Ewa" Pl model, which means it's sturdy, deep cut and supportive. Yes, I do like the Pls very much. Gives a great cleavage, doesn't make your boobs spread to the side and sits comfortably on even if you have to run a bit or do athletic domestic chores. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The colour is pretty, quite summery despite the black lace overlay. A great bra.
The shape is the normal super-boost Pl, holding even a bigger bust firmly in place. This bra is definitely from the sturdier end of the plunges I have, it gives a "thick" feeling even without the correction pads. Also, the give in the band is practically non-existent. Lovely summery colour scheme.
This is a nice red padded bra, which is rare in cupsize above H. The padding thickness and the thin material over the padding reminds me to the Panache Porcelain moulded bra. Ewa Michalak is famous about narrow wires, but I do not think that is the case. This is my firs EM bra so I have no comparison within the brand, but my Cleo Marcie bra has 1.5 cm narrower wire than this. This bra's wires are narrower than the Curvy Kate Daily Boost , but that bra is know from wide wires.
The bra has 3 hook closure, but the spacing is not exactly ...the standard 3/4" as in other bras, and my extender wrinkled a bit because of this.
I am really disappointed about the sizing and the EM website sizing help of this bra. I wear 32 band in every UK brand, and the cupsize varies by brand. I wear 32J in Cleo and Panache, maybe JJ in Freya, and some rare cases I need a 32K like the CK Daily boost.
The websize sizing gave me 80H ( 36H), which sounded really far off. I read on some bloggers that this is often the case, but they are just go by their normal UK size. So I decided to sister size down the websize advice twice to 70JJ equivalentl to 32JJ, which seems about right. Well the band is fine. It is a bit too snug, but the band is stretchy and will strech out very soon, Their suggestion would have been way too big, I am glad I went with my normal UK bandsize The problem is that the cup is so small I am not even sure how many cupsize bigger I would need. At least 2 maybe even 3 or more In any case I won' going to spend another $20 to try a different size, because I am so far off that it would shooting into the dark again. The problem is that for this style, you need to very spot on with size. In case of padded plunge polie the Panache porcelain, or PL versions of EMI assume, a little bit of extra just give you a bit morecleavagee. But this is a balconette, and all yopur boobs has to fit into the cup to look good.
In summary : Pros: - Padded bra above H cup - Nice colors - narrow(er) wires
Cons: - sizing nightmare - expensive shipping - charge extra if you pay with paypal - expensive return
I love this bra!! The fit is excellent and is very comfortable for the most part. The centre gore can dig in/rub if I wear it with a tight top or for too many hours in a row. It is very feminine and the fabric is extremely comfortable. Would recommend!!
This bra is so pretty! I am really sad that it doesn't suit my shape. Like other SM models I've tried, it is too shallow near the gore for my breasts, which have a lot of center fullness. I also seem to be between sizes in this style. The 70K that I usually wear in padded S and PL styles is a bit too big, and this is a little too small.
This is a very pretty bra that seems well made, but it runs tight in the band and small in the cup. I would say it fits more like a UK 30J with the padding removed.
I was expecting this to fit similar to the 70JJ PL Stalwolka I got, but found the band on this to be a bit stretchier, and the cups gave a slightly different/odd shape. Overall though, the bra is lovely, and fits well enough to keep!
I love how the straps on the Ewa bras don't seem to be plotting to dislocate my arms from my shoulder sockets, rather, they're set narrow enough to not interfere with any normal movement throughout the day https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This was the first PL style I tried, and I went up a cup size. I'd heard the bands in the PL's fit more snug, I went with the same size, planning to use an extender if needed, as I'd rather use an extender and get more life out of the bra as it stretches, than have it stretch out too fast. I found this to be true - while my other 70 bands from Ewa measure 33-34", this one was 32" stretched. While I was able to close the bra, it feels much more comfortable for now using an extender with it.
The cups seem to fit perfectly, so I'd definitely recommend going up that cup size in PL!
The bra is a gorgeous silver/grey color - not a color you see very often in bras! and the fabric is incredibly smooth and silky to the touch. Overall a very comfortable bra, it looks fantastic under t shirts, and gives cleavage that comes close to rivaling that of a Deco! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra is pretty much perfect for me except for the band. I'm in between band sizes (~31 inch underbust) and the band feels a little too loose for my liking. Otherwise I have no complaints.
Trefl is one of the best bras ever! Glad you found one that fits. :-)
