Thought it fit at first after being newly bravangelized, but after further exploration, really not a great match for my petite frame, projected, FOB, narrow, wide-set breasts. My breasts fold over inside the cup, causing the wire to slide down from my IMF throughout the day, and the cups are pretty tall for my petite frame, though the straps are set narrowly enough for my shoulders. The spacer material is comfortable but for me, allows more nipple show-through than I'm comfortable with in a professional environment.
This was the first bra I found that "fit" after discovering my true UK size. However, after additional exploration, it's not a great match for my petite frame, projected, FOB, narrow, wide-set breasts. My breasts fold over inside the cup, causing the wire to slide down from my IMF throughout the day, and the cups are pretty tall for my petite frame, though the straps are set narrowly enough for my shoulders. This bra was recommended to me by a boutique sales lady as being one of the best for augmented breasts. It felt good at first but now that I have settled into place it does not have enough immediate projection and the cups are so tall they are empty at the top for me.
Ok so I lusted after this set forever before I actually bought it on sale. It's gorgeous, first of all. It's got the tall and narrow sort of fit that Wacoal unlineds, Prima Donnas, and Claudette Dessous and Paramours have. If you like that shape, you might like this bra. I find it fits a lot like a Prima Donna, actually, for about half the price, and it's just as gorgeous! The upper lacy mesh is not stretchy, so there could be some fit issues there for some folks. I enjoy the narrow wires and straps on this bra, and find it disappears under many sleeveless dresses.
I also own the brown version of this bra in the same size, so much of this review will be repeated.
I really like this bra. It's gorgeous while also being very supportive and seperates my breasts nicely, though I have noticed that the black is slightly smaller in the cups than the brown, though not enough to size up. The straps are wide, though not wideset, and the wires' shape feels odd to me under my arms, like they slope back instead of coming up vertically to encompass my breast, which makes them feel slightly too wide, but not a dealbreaker at all. The quality is high, and the only comfort issue is that the pattern gets imprinted into my skin if I lean against it for any extended length of time. Overall, my favorite bra so far.
I have only worn this one once so far, but it was not the epitome of heavenly comfort for me that others make it sound like. I think the straps are a little wide-set for me and the cup fabric cuts into my tail of spence a little, especially when I reach straight out. The wires aren't too high, but I did have red marks from the wire ends. It doesn't stay in my IMF, though I have yet to find a bra that does so maybe that's a shape issue.
In general, I want to love this bra. I can tell that it's good quality, and it gives a fantastic shape under shirts. For other shapes, maybe, I would advise this bra. It's probably worth the cost if you fit it well.
I really like this bra. The high gore seperates my center-heavy boobs much better than the t-shirt styles I have been wearing, and the mesh still feels quite supportive (and does show off half a nipple). The straps are quite wide and pretty, and the bra is true to size. The cup has two vertical seams, one that goes all the way up to the strap and one that stops at the middle of the cups where the mesh starts, indicating where the nipple should be. The detailing on it is lovely, it's very soft, and I've found it to be quite comfortable. The seams do show through a very thin or tight shirt, though.
Great (in this size at least) for close breasts that are mostly FOB with tall shallowish root. I tried 15 other bras while at Nordstrom today and this was the only one that didn't leave me with simultaneous gaping by the straps and quadboob toward the middle. Gives a nice projected shape with no pointiness. Band is a "comfortable" 30, not tight like cleos.
Who knew that moulded bras could be projected? Immediate projection, general projection, upper projection...
Unfortunately, all that projection is why this bra doesn't quite fit. The immediate projection and general projection is great - that's what I look for in a bra. But I can't fill out the top of the cup. My boobs are very evenly full, but a little short. Even so, I think this bra runs a cup size big. I have an unlined Fantasie in 30F that fits like a dream (and I typically wear 30F/FF), while this bra gapes pretty bad at the top. I would strongly recommend sizing down in the cup if you want to try it.
The gore feels very tall, and the wires are firm. The band is surprisingly firm for a Fantasie (I got this bra well loved and it still fits like a 30). I'd put it on par with Freya bands, or even a hair less stretchy.
This shape is all wrong for me. The cup wrinkles on the bottom where my breasts doesn't fill it, but then the top of the cuo cuts into my breast. The wires dig into my sternum terribly. Just all around bad.
I'm all about simple, smooth, works-with-anything bras and this one is just that. I love the material that the cups are made from.. firm but soft and not thick/padded. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to cut in across the top of my larger breast (while also not quite being full in the bottom of the cup), and if I actually stand with the posture that I'm supposed to have, it does it to both. I think it would be better for me a cup size up.
Fits very similar to Freya unlined plunges, but more forgiving, I think. I'm not shallow, but I tend to find Freya plunges too deep for me, because the tight upper edge gives me some orange-in-a-glass because I have tall roots. I don't have the same problem with this bra, for some reason.
The gore is too wide, but it's shortness means it's more out of the way than in other bras, so its width is less problematic than it should be. The cups are too tall for me, so I get some discomfort around my tail of spence.
Gives a very projected shape, which I like, but a little pointier than I sometimes prefer.
This is huge, for an F cup. The band is nice, I feel it will be too big after a while because I can fasten it on the smallest hook. I'm really in between a 28 and 30 band it seems, depending on the brand. But it gaps at the top on both breasts, where the cups are just clearly too big. And the center gore is very high on me, it pokes into my sternum and gets painful very quickly - and that's not something I'm sure a smaller cup size can fix. If it fit properly, this would be a very supportive (if somewhat ugly) strapless bra.
This bra is so lovely. I love the white and silver--it just looks so elegant and gorgeous. The straps are surprisingly comfortable, perhaps because they're just a smidge wider than some of my others. The material feels strong but pliable, comfortable. This is a seriously comfortable bra. I have very sensitive skin which has caused problems with bra material (especially around the band) before, but this is totally fine.
That said, it's a 30F and my boobs grew before it arrived in the mail. So I've never been able to wear it because it's too small. Sad day.
The only downside to this bra is that the band is pretty stretchy.
Gorgeous, comfortable fabric and a comfy band. Unfortunately, it's more like a standard 32 than a 30. It only feels right to me on the tightest hook. The projection in this bra is great and it's very FOB friendly, but I'm not a fan of the shape. I've never had conical breasts, so I guess this bra and I don't mesh due to to my expectations of roundness in the front (my Cleo Lily has spoiled me there, I think). It doesn't hide my asymmetry very well. Runs larger in the cups than my 30F Freyas did.
I was hoping for this to be a great basic work bra but the cup is far too narrow. For girls who need narrow wires this will be great but it gave me major side bulge! I'll pass it on.
The band is a bit firm for a 30. The wires are too wide for me which made it uncomfortable. This bra requires a FOB/Even shape, with lots of projection at the apex. Overall, it's very, very high quality. I bought it for quite the price at a local boutique, but it just ended up not working out for me.
