This bra fits me perfectly and is very comfortable but I returned it because it gave my boobs a downward pointy shape. I'm very shallow on top with wide roots so I guess I didn't have enough up there to get a better shape.
I wore this bra for years. It is amazing quality, held up fantastic despite being thrown in the washing machine over and over again. It is perfect with a top where you need to be perfectly smooth (ie I have a peplum shirt that requires this bra). I thought I found bra heaven. I have since learned more about shape and realized it is far too wide for me. Since I have been wearing bras with more narrow wires I no longer find this bra comfortable. I blame tissue migration but I know that is controversial. I still hold on to it for the times I want the perfectly smooth silhouette.
I'm not a huge fan of how this bra looks on me, but the shape it gives is decent, if a little pointy. The wires are wide enough for me, and there's a good amount of depth to the cups. It's reasonably comfortable for the most part, but some of the seams at the sides and by the back fastenings can get a little itchy. Still, not a bad bra overall.
I think this fits. It is my best fitting bra to date. It is comfortable and I love that the underwire is not too wide or long. There are wrinkles at the bottom of the cup. This happens with all my bras. This might be because I have high-set boobs or a short torso. It also causes the middle part of the underwire to feel like it is digging into my ribs if I try to move the underwire closer to the bottom of my boobs.
If I scoop n swoop while pushing the under wire closer to the bottom of my boob, I get a slight quad boob. I added side view pictures to illustrate. I have the urge to pull down the bra because it is digging into my ribs and so uncomfortable. Even if i don't pull the bra down, the underwire will eventually shift down on its own.
This bra is a pretty good fit for me. It's uplifting, reasonably centering, and, while not as round a shape as I'd like, isn't floppy or shelf-y looking. I have the lipstick color way, which is outside of my normal nude zone (Hey, when you only have two bras at a time that you like, you have to be practical!) but I love it. I'm hoping the straps will soften up with washing/wear - they're the tiniest bit scratchy, but I think they'll settle down.
ETA: After wearing it around (versus just trying it on), it's a little flattening on the top of the cup. TBD whether I'm keeping it.
I anxiously awaited this bra release. As soon as it came out I bought it. The regular Rebecca is my everyday bra even though it is 1-2 cups too small for me. I love the spacer foam and wish Fantasie would expand the sizing of the Rebecca. The Nouveau is a prettier version of the Rebecca. I had hoped it was going to be less of a full cup and have a much lower gore but it does not. It is basically the same measurements of the regular Rebecca in both the material of how far the cups go up and the size of the gore. Either way, I still love it. I continue to squeeze into this too small bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I bought this bra because I thought it would fit the same as my Fantasie Nicola Side Support bra but it does not. The band is far stretchier (Although it is true to size). The shape it gives me is so very different. This bra gives me a very pointy shape. This gore also doesn't sit flat on me. I can't figure out why this bra fits me so differently as it appears to be exactly the same cut.
This bra is beautiful and I really like the way it fits. The band runs a little small, which is great for people that measure 31" like me. The underwire is wider than I would need but it doesn't create any problems for me. It's really comfortable and one of my favorite bras right now!
A great cute and sexy bra that looks delicate, with its soft colours and cute little bow that almost look three dimensional. It holds everything right where it needs to and gives a great shape. The straps are lined for comfort and it has three rows of three hooks.
Thought I had moved into 32GG range so I got this from another user here. So I'm in the G+ or GG- range I guess.
Love: padded wire channels (wires are 12", channels are 13"). Brown and pink color. Wires don't poke my underarms (I'm short). Side support boning. Overall balanced projected/rounded look.
What doesn't work for me with this bra is the upper cup lace which is firm fabric in a lacy look, not the stretch lace of other Fantasie bras I own. This "lace" is not forgiving, and I need to be forgiven for a slightly large cup. I think it won't show under most tops ...I own but still, I need the softer lacy lace.
I'm the third owner at least, so not sure how much the band has stretched but it feels pretty true to Fantasie 32.
Update after 3 weeks: I am strangely drawn to this bra despite it being a little too large and having the heavy embroidery on the lace. It is soft, comfortable, and so, so lovely. The embroidery is gorgeous but I wish it were not there because I need the stretch lace. But I grab for this bra first.
It's really difficult for me to say. I bought this bra from an individual (so, not returnable), and when it arrived, I immediately noticed that the cups were much too small. However, I think that's more me not knowing my size than it is reflective of anything about the bra itself.
This is my absolute favourite bra, the one I reach for day after day (and have to remind myself to rotate). It's not the prettiest, but it's definitely the most comfortable - and it gives amazing, smooth shape.
I just wish it came in a broader range of colours!
This bra runs small in the band, my usual band size is 30. It does not come in a cup size larger than GG https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
The 32GG was too small for me and caused me to bulge a LOT.
