This bra has lasted me longer than it probably should have. I have multiple of the same bra, and they put up with anything. It's super comfy, but the cup is thin. So everyone knows if you're cold or not. There's zero hiding.
I wish I had double checked the size on my old bra before buying this bra! I have this exact same bra in a size that fits, and silly me, didn't double check the tag on this bra in a whirlwind shopping trip.
I will say in it's well fitting sister, you can get a bit of a rocket bra with boob guns with the right shirt with this style. Which is great for some outfits, but also maybe not the desired outcome of a t-shirt bra. I like the plunge on this and use it less as T-shirt and more as going out personally.
I ordered this in the silver & white colourway in my sister size of 34GG because it looked so pretty. It fits but I can see why it isn't available in larger cup sizes as the support is pretty light due to all the stretch lace. Ideally I would want this in a 32H (my typical size) as the band is on the tightest hooks.
It hurts to part with a bra this pretty but I am not keeping it as given the lighter support I wouldn't wear it enough. I recommend it for smaller cup sizes or if you are willing to compromise on the support.
My boobs start at my collarbone, I think they are average on the top, firm and bottom heavy with lots of projection.
Other than not being able to fill the bottom side of the cups adequately, this is a great bra. the center gore is a little high for a v-neck t-shirt, but that is really the only design flaw of this bra.
I think I have too much upper fullness for this cup right now. Probably everywhere fullness, actually. It's shark week though, so maybe I'll get a better result ten days from now.
The Fantasie Kara is a lovely bra that's well constructed. I would encourage a color choice other than the white, as it tends to show through most white or beige colored clothing. I'm a bit too big for the bra now, otherwise it's a keeper.
This bra is incredibly pretty, but I have now taken the wires out and am using it as a sleep bra (hammock!) Although the cups were correct, the wire couldn't hold its position. An expensive mistake, we live and learn
When I first got this bra I was kind of on the fence about it. The material is kind of scratchy and the shape it give is a little pointy, where I'd much prefer rounded. After a couple of wears, though, this has become my absolute best fitting bra.
Cons: Scratchy material Somewhat pointed shape Very sheer material, gives boobs an awkward crammed-in-there look Fabric is a little weird toward the wire, looks like there is additional fabric/can't fill cup, but the underwire sits in the right place pretty comfortable.
Pros: Can't even feel the material when I'm wearing it, totally comfortable Fits GREAT around the underarms and straps The pink detail isn't over the top and ugly, it's rather nice.
I mistakenly purchased this bra a second time. The former, duplicate bra was returned because it dug into my shoulders. I returned the second bra because it dug under my boobs. Gotta stay on top of my purchases. I think my forgetfulness came from being desperate to find one that fits.
So I had a big anticipation for this bra as the regular Rebecca is my everyday bra even though it is small in the cups. This bra is supposed to be less coverage than the regular Rebecca which is considered a full coverage bra. Well they lied!!!! The gore is about the same height at the regular Rebecca if not taller and the cups are exactly the same coverage. So this bra is just a prettier Rebecca which I like but not what I was anxiously waiting for. Still looking for a good tshirt bra with a lower gore and one that the seams will not show through my snug tanks.
The band was very tight and uncomfortable. The cups were OK, but I think the wires were a bit too wide and came up way too high under my armpits causing some chafing. The gore sat away from my sternum a tiny bit but not bad. The straps were comfy. Very pretty bra, I just wish it fit better.
I loved this bra when I first bought it. I was disappointed that I could not find it in the store again the next time I went back to Nordstrom to get new bras. They may have just been out at that particular location. It's very pretty and feminine. It is comfortable, no poking. It stretched out pretty badly, and part of that may have been how hard a life I gave it. I feel as though it could use some more support on the sides. I am smaller and need a smaller bra, and I am hoping I can find this bra in a smaller size with the same color scheme somewhere online.
Since I was having trouble finding a molded cup bra in my normal 32H size, the store clerk recommended the Rebecca 34GG. It seemed to be a good idea while being fitted, but after a short time of wear I realized it was much too large around. I end up wearing it on the tightest hook and the band still goes up my back. Overall I end up with a frumpy, droopy look.
Quite comfortable everyday bra, ttrue to size. I think it gives a really good support but the shape obviously is not for me: it separtes my boobs too much and they were almost under the arms when I was wearing this bra. Well, I returend it...
This bra is a bit odd on me. I sort of wonder if there's something a bit wrong with it.
For one, the band is definitely too big for me. It measures a full inch larger at rest than my black one (a 34G), and given I'm a larger 34, I shouldn't have to fasten it on the tightest hook. The center gore also tends to be a little crooken on me. It's comfortable, but I don't understand the shift, especially as it tilts out on the side of my smaller breast. I could understand and explain it if it were on the same side as my larger! ...I bent the underwires a bit and it helped some, but not enough.
I sized up to a GG because my G was starting to give me slight quad boob after wearing it all day, but I suspect the G may be a better fit. I get a bit of cup wrinkling at times with this one, and it comes up awfully high under my arms. I'm likely just right between sizes.
But all that said, I do like this bra. It gives good support but a nice relaxed shape beneath clothes. It's definitely in every day, I don't want to sweat like crazy territory for me. The wires are the perfect height and width for me, typical of a Fantasie fit on me. Read more 126 more words
