This fits me so well! It's amazing. The straps are decently thick (wouldn't mind them a little thicker though), there's no weird side boning, the underwire doesn't go up too high but contains all my boob and sideboob, there's no wrinkling in any part of the cups even though I've got weird long deflataboob issues, and it's the only one I've seen in stores around me so far in my size that was actually kind of cute. Now I just have to go find ten more bras like this one, and pray a few have low enough cups I can wear low cut shirts again.

Just a couple suggestions from my experience with Rebecca:

      - these are all over eBay, and are often around $25. I know the retail on Rebecca is hefty, but $25 for this bra is definitely worth it!

      - if you want lower cups, I highly suggest sizing down in cup, because the spacer fabric will stretch like crazy and can accommodate your tissue. My best fit in this is a 34G, but I have some that I wear fine in 34FF. My usual UK size is 32H/34GG, so that shows you how accommodating it is.

It looks great on you! I'm glad you find a bra that is pretty and works so well! :D

This bra fit my boobs well and the band size fit my ribcage. But the lace on the bottom rubbed in to my skin, probably because of my skin rolls there. Maybe I'm not wearing it low enough though

    • I have a similar issue with this bra, I think the trim is just a scratchy/stiff fabric and will poke against any skin that comes into contact with it. From your side photo it did look like the band was riding up a bit in the back, but I think changing your band size would make the rubbing worse.

I ordered this bra in a 36FF as well and couldn't quite fill the cups and in this one I'm a touch too big, so I must conclude it's just not the right style for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I loved the feel and look of this bra, the band was snug, but not constricting. The wires were a good width and height, so if I bent over I wasn't being stabbed or getting poked in my armpit. The straps are very adjustable, so no matter your height you should be able to find the right length to suit you.

This bra is definitely not the right bra for me. The biggest issue with this bra is that the cups ride up into my armpits and cause painful skin irritation. Also, the band does not provide enough support, so the entire bra shifts right after I scoop and swoop, at which point I am no longer filling the cups, and of course, the painful armpit thing. The quality of the bra doesn’t seem promising, already, I see loose threads coming out of the seam and the band seems to be losing its elasticity after a total of only 3 days of wear. On a positive note: I do love the “edgy”/not-so-frilly style of the bra. The center decoration is a simple triangular cutout shape, which is different from the usual bow, flower, or rhinestone most bras have. The pattern is simple, yet sexy, and the fabric isn’t itchy or overly lacey.

First off, I love this bra. It is the prettiest bra I have ever owned. I have no idea why it's referred to as a "plunge", when it pretty clearly is not. Even still, it looks fantastic.

Overall, I love the look it gives me-- slightly less rounded than the Cleo Lucy, with a very slight point, sort of a vintage shape. It fits me decently, but like with all bras, there is slight wrinkling in the upper lace portion for my left breast, as it is slightly smaller. This is not noticeable under clothes, and barely noticeable even without clothes. Also, this bra is slightly more projected than ... my Lucy, but only slightly-- I was finding that it was slipping about a .5-1" out of my IMF.

I realized that my shape is this, and some parts of it are counter-intuitive: my roots are wide, short, and low, plus I'm extra projected, bottom-full, and very flat on top. So, I need a bra that is wide enough, for sure, but most bras that are wide tend to be shallow. As a result, I'll have bras that are wide enough, but that I am gradually pushing away from my body, by the end of the day. Fortunately, even regardless of this, the Marianna still looks beautiful, and is very comfortable, so it's a keeper.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll have this issue with a lot of bras. Still, I will press onward for an even better fit.

So beautiful on you! These colors... :-) :-)

    • Love4Pollinators Thank you! :) It makes me want to try out the halfcup, as well. It's just such an elegant bra. (Ok, I am totally gonna get the matching briefs. I can't help it. A bra this pretty deserves to be in a set!)

    • 2

Giggle....we wouldn't want the bras to feel "lonely." The half cup may be a great fit for you, too :-) Good luck!

    • 2

Bahaha, yes, precisely. :) I've been meaning to try a halfcup of some sort-- it would need to be a projected one, so we'll see! ;)

    • 1

I think you look fantastic in this bra - it is super pretty as well. Hope you find a half cup that you like and I agree the briefs and bra look best when matching.

    • 1

Is it the side support that provides the forward projection? I love the retro look.

    • 1

Paula50 You know what, I think that makes the most sense. The side-support panel pushes that tissue to the front/center, causing slight 'torpedo boob'. It's definitely not an extreme one, though!

I've wanted matching, beautiful bras/panties for so long-- this will only be my second matching set, but eventually, I'll get the matching panties for the rest of my bras. And some day I plan to have a much bigger collection of them. :) Getting there! I really do feel so much more confident and sexy with matching sets.

    • 2

This is such a beauty. I didn't fare too well with the padded half cup version of this bra and really want to try the balcony. It's always been a favorite of mine. A matching set would be nice! I can always dream :)

    • letstalkaboutbras I am so excited to receive my matching panties... I can't wait! Just so I can put the set on and prance around in front of my mirror (imagine the "Faith" scene from Rules of Attaction.)

I love the cut-- they call it 'Brazilian brief' but it's basically just cheeky low-cut hiphuggers (at least that's how I imagine them to look in person)... a bra this beautiful definitely needs the set! and fwiw, I think I paid $35 on Amazon for mine? And $13 for the panties. (Which... I guess is expensive, when I used to just get the 5-7/$25 deal for VS panties.) BUT.. less than $50 for a set this beautiful is pretty inexpensive, IMO.

Really though, one of the cases where the bra is way more beautiful in person. Worth it. (I so have a developing 'problem', lol.) If you're more FOB (with slight top-fullness, but flat on top worked well enough for me) I SO recommend it!

    • letstalkaboutbras https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016XWQ6ZQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1

Under $27 (free shipping) for the magenta colorway in 30F (eeep, the 30FF is like $20 more though). The other ones are $74, but magenta is clearly the best color. ;)

I looked at your old halfcup review. I wonder if you'd have these same issues in a balcony at the same size? This is the seller I bought from, and returned a set that didn't end up working at all...so, if you have to return it, you know. I'll stop pressuring you, now. ;)

    • 1

That is a great price. I'll almost certainly need a 30E now, though :( I'm going to see if I can find it nearby.

    • 1

Thanks for finding it! I haven't tried any more Fantasie bras in my current size, so I don't mind the pressure :)

Go down a band size in this bra. I get a much better fit on the tightest setting rather than the loosest set of hooks.

This bra has a 3 part soft cup. It is like a balconette style. My breasts are pendulous and close set, so this style is perfect for me. The wires at the gore literally touch. I'm not as full on top as I used to be, so there is a little wrinkling at the top, but it's acceptable. Under tee shirts, there is a line across the breasts, but it's minimal and doesn't bother me.

This is so close. I wonder if cupping down might address my fit issues or if that would just result in quading.

The shape on this is a little pointy for my taste, though also an indicator to try a cup down. It is comfortable, the lace doesn't dig in on top. It has some immediate projection and reasonably wide wires. The gore is a little wide for me. And I am getting folding on the underside of the cup.

    And gosh that color.

This is a stunning bra. I literally squealed when I was shown it and wanted to try it on immediately. I wish I had slowed down and paid a bit more attention to size/fit, as I would have went a cup size/band size smaller. That being said, while it is a tad large, it's not a fault of the bra - it's a fault of me not paying attention. The bra would fit properly were this my proper size. It's held up to nearly daily wear and I highly recommend it. It's simply gorgeous.

Fantasie once again wins the day with this pretty, floral, stretch lace bra with side support. It is by far the most comfortable bra I’ve tried on so far, and that includes the Rebecca. It’s a lot prettier to look at than the Rebecca, too. I feel so much sexier in it. But where it falls a tiny bit short of the Rebecca is in its shaping abilities. It does the job and does it well, giving me a very natural-looking and realistic shape. But it allows my breasts to sit quite a bit lower and further apart than the Rebecca does. I am wondering if this would improve with a 34FF, because while the bra is so, so comfortable and fits well when I’m standing still, raising my arms or twisting my torso causes the underwires to lift away from my skin, and the band rides up a tiny bit in back.

I was really skeptical when I took it out of the bag. The cups looked so enormous and they were molded, which I’ve always hated. But oh my goodness! The fit was almost perfect! And the spacer foam made such a difference. Lightweight, breathable, and just enough shaping. It looks fantastic under a t-shirt. And it feels better than wearing nothing at all! Takes the weight off my back and my boobs out of my armpits. This is a fabulous bra for my sad sacks. I love it. (I will say the fit is a bit generous compared to the others I tried on, though. If you’re between band sizes, I’d go with the smaller one; same with the cups. )

Sigh-- add this one to the growing pile of moulded cup failures. This one was much closer than the two previous attempts, which I did not keep long enough to measure for bratabase.

Very pretty bra, with slightly stiffer than average cups. I was left with some gaping along the top edge of the cup, and my boobs wouldn't completely fill into the bottom part of the cup near the wire. I think I suffered from the "orange in a glass" effect from this bra, but it didn't seem too uncomfortable on the sides. If anything, though, the cut is a bit too high near the top close to ... the armpit, and the edge across from that. These cups seemed to cover my TOS, which was a weird feeling.

I wanted this bra to work so badly. I thought, for a split second, that I might be able to make it work anyway-- but then it occurred to me that the whole point of having a moulded cup was so that I could have a smooth line under my top. So, this one will be sold, soon. Back to the drawing board.

My breast shape is projected, short roots of medium wisth, FOB, even top. And they're mature and floppier. Zoe is not a spacer. It's also not thick foam. It almost completely hides my headlights and gives me the shape I like, both of which the Rebecca failed to do. Ended up keeping the 36F and using an extender until the band stretches which I am told @Fantasie bras do. The photos are without the extender. Once that was in place, the gore sat flat and most of that crease beneath the cup went away.

I nodded off wearing this bra and slept for about 4 hours. Unbelievable how comfortable I felt. Removed, just very faint indents on my skin. Never thought I'd find a well fitting contour, given that I tried so many ill fitting ones.

My breast shape is short roots, FOB, projected, with medium width roots. Breasts are mature, dense and droop, so I need lift at the bottom. I'm also wideset.

Looking at the bra when it's not on me, the cups have a really nice perky ovoid shape. However once the bra is on, the spacer foam is just not strong enough to hold my breasts up. Bottom of the cup changes to a droopy shape I personally do not like. I prefer Panache "perky" since I am FOB. The top of the breasts fill the cup but there's no lift up.

The other issue I had with this one was although the band fit, it felt really scratchy and irritating. So these two things decided me against this. Plus it didn't hide my headlights. Gorgeous gorgeous color!

I like this bra as it is a fine fit, but there a few points that leave me wishing for a slight differences, or that I had bought more of the Fantasie 36F - Fantasie » Susanna Side Support Bra (2402) . The pattern and color way is fun, but is highly visible under a lot of shirts, and since I'm more of a very practical bra kinda gal, I was slightly disappointed by that. Secondly, at the boutique I was shopping at, this was presented with the Susanna mentioned above, as ones that fit me, and I mistakenly assumed they were different color ... ways of the same bra. They aren't. This bra does have a vertical seam, but lacks the side support seam that goes vertically in the cup directly under the strap that the Susanna has-- and for me, it makes a difference in overall shape and fit. In this bra, I feel like my boobs are more pointy and less rounded and I prefer a more rounded shape. Also, where the top of the cup meets the strap, I don't quite fill it.

If 10 is bra bliss, this is a 6.5, wearable, comfortable, but not ideal.

I've only owned this bra less than a week, but it has become the best bra wearing experience I've had in years, so I feel a review is in order.
This bra fits me well, doesn't leave gaps at the top where the cup meets the strap, and is supportive and looks smooth under thicker shirts that are a cotton/stretch blend. Under pure cotton tees, regardless of thickness you can see the seaming or lace.
I like this bra so far, and I would buy more if my wardrobe wasn't almost all cotton shirts. I bought it because it was seriously one of two that fit at a boutique in town that carries a large range of sizes and styles. So perhaps some more research and Internet shopping is in order.

But if a 10 is bra bliss, this gets an 8.

When I first got this bra, I loved the shape it gave me in contrast to even more poorly-fitting bras, but I didn't know that red marks from the band were normal - so I wore it rarely. Then I gained weight and this became "the biggest bra I owned." And it still left marks and dug in weird places and now it gave me quadboob...

But those are all issues of fit. The bra itself is sturdy but somewhat industrial-looking. After infrequent wearings, it's still tight enough to leave marks and I haven't left the first column of hooks. The seam where the strap meets the cup is ... HORRIBLE however. It rubs my underarm chub (or possibly migrated boob) constantly and leaves a sore rash by the end of the day. That seam is my most hated part of this bra.

It does have a pretty shape if your boobs fit inside it, though. And for a beige bra for everyday wear, it blends in pretty well with outfits. The fabric the cups are made of makes a bit of sound - that foamy squeaky noise - when t-shirt fabric moves over it.

    - Band feels tight to me, but I can fit 2 fingers
    - Underwire seems too wide (about an inch wider than my breast, into my armpit, but not digging in because it is relatively low)
    - Straps also seem too wide, and dig into the front of my armpit/shoulder when I move my arms forward
    - Cups are clearly too big (visibly wrinkling all over and with obvious space within the cup), but the top of the cup lies relatively flat
    - Gore seems about right, against my sternum but not uncomfortably so

I'm not sure about this bra. I went up a band size as the 34 was too tight. The 36 is still much too tight, but I'm hoping it'll stretch out after a few washings. There's a gap in the cups on the side and a little at the bottom so I tightened the straps (to the max - I'm really short so you may not have a problem with this) and it seemed to take care of the gap problem in the bottom. When I sit down, the side of the cup fills out but the top gapes a little bit and doesn't sit flat against my ... chest like it does when I stand. This isn't really noticeable as it's a lined/foamy cup and keeps its shape. However, because I had to tighten the straps all the way, it sits way higher on my chest than I'd like. I'm not sure which tops I can wear this with and I don't feel very sexy wearing this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":o" />( I think the shape doesn't work for me. One thing I also want to note is that the lace on the bottom is scratchy to me (could be because the band is really tight right now).
