It was an impulse buy on Poshmark, I didn't pay enough attention
Feels and looks surprisingly good though, I feel like as I come back to the real bra community I'm going to adjust my standards, gore not tacking isn't a big deal if the bra isn't in my armpits haha
Cups fit my shape (wide root) better than other molded cups, but 2 hooks do not provide enough support for the band, which digs into my ribcage under my breasts.
This bra is gorgeous, it really looks stunning on me. Sadly the cup size is slightly too small. Not quite a full cup too small, so if I adjust it a bit it still works for me. I found it on clearance though, and it fit well enough that it was justifiable for the price (plus it is the prettiest bra for big busted girls that I have ever managed to fit into). The center gore sits closer to my body than most bras ever manage (the only one to almost fit along my sternum is 85H - Chantelle » Rive Gauche 3 Part Cup (3281). ...The underwire does not dig into my underarm, even after hours of wear. The straps do start to slip occasionally on me, and I have to adjust them sometimes. It is not from them being too loose, they just sit a bit farther apart on my shoulders than would be ideal. On the loosest setting the band isn't as tight as I would like, but is not overly loose, and only slips up slightly with long-term wear. It also only has 2 catches on the band, and I prefer having 3. This is my new favourite bra! My shape is narrow, projected, with average-to-short roots, close-set with lots of upper-center fullness and soft, saggy breast tissue. This bra is so comfortable, and I love the colour! It seems like a pretty good fit for my shape, not ideal, as the wires are a little too wide for me, but the fabric is substantial enough to hold my soft saggy boobs in place. The lace in the upper cup is lined with beige mesh for better support.
My mother tried this bra (38FF - Fantasie » Julia Side Support Bra (9162)) on at the same time as the Fantasie Susanna Side Support Bra (2402) and found this bra to be much more comfortable. The main issue she has been having with fit, and this includes the 38FF - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) (see my review), is that the bottom of the cups in most styles dig into her upper stomach when she sits down. Even when the fit in the cup is very near perfect. Since the Jasmine has quite stiff wires as usual with Panache, ...she tried Fantasie, known for softer wires. Susanna fit her very well in 38FF, but the underwire and bit of band below the cups were still a little uncomfortable when sitting. She has a short torso/shoulder area and these Fantasie bras work much better than Elomi's bandless ones which are aimed towards petites. The Elomi bras like 38G - Elomi » Etta Bandless Bra (8840), Rita, Caitlyn, Persia, etc just have too deep cups and wide wires. The material on the Susanna may have been a little stiff. Luckily, we found Julia on the rack to try next. Julia seems to have the softest lace band under the cup out of all of them. Congrats to mom on finally finding ABTF. She ended up buying four and is hoping they will soften even more with washing. I know this is not a full review since I haven't tried this bra myself, but I wanted to note this here in case anyone has a similar issue. Also this size range seems under-represented here. That said, I can tell that the shape accommodates her projection and bottom fullness, while the stretch lace doesn't dig in on top and accommodates asymmetry well, too. The bra feels soft and well-made and is perfectly lightweight for summer. It is unlined. Read more 217 more words
I think the band is too tight for me, and I need to stick with size 40 bands. I did try it with the band extender and there was no improvement. The band tightness distorted the wires, causing wrinkling in the bottom of the cups. The underwire won’t stay in my IMF, which is a problem I experience with many bras. I don’t like the shape it gives me either. The wires could sort of fit my roots, but since they were distorted, it's hard to judge the fit accurately, other than saying that it's terribly wrong for my shape and the wrong size. The gore felt too high for me as well.
My shape is: very wide roots, short/med root height, close set, med projection, slightly center-full, and functionally full-on-bottom.
This is my first listing; I will be re-homing my entire beautiful bra collection -- nothing fits after breast cancer treatment! This basque is super comfortable; good side support in the cups, soft lining, nice stretchy back and sides. Holds everything nicely tucked in, but not constricting.
The Alex is probably the most comfortable supportive bra I own. The only complaint I have is the the gore is too tall and doesn't lay flush on my sternum. If the gore was half an inch shorter, it would be perfect.
My breast shape is projected, soft tissue, narrow root, even, with centre fullness. The cups seems to enclose my breast tissue and the bra gives decent support, but the wires are too wide and the gore does not tack - it rests on my breast tissue. The fit is not bad for a moulded cup bra, as it's not as shallow and the cups are actually soft, but I found it uncomfortable within minutes of trying it on. It feels like the underwires are pushing into me and the fit is wrong for me.
This is a comfortable bra, with pretty good immediate projection, but not great lift or upward support. The gore doesn't tack, but at least I don't have any quadboob. The band is very stretchy. It gives decent support for my pendulous breasts, but the cups are a little too wide with empty space at the sides, so the shape isn't as lifted, more east-west and a little saggy (natural for my boobs). Some wrinkling in the bottom of the cup. Comfortable to wear, but the shape it gives is not ideal for me.
I Bought this bra from a fellow Bratabaser on a transfer. This bra fits me really well and it's so comfortable. It has full coverage, 4 part cut and sew cups. The bottom 3 sections are made of soft poly/nylon fabric that is a white and blueish/purple flowered print. The upper cup section is of soft nylon/lace mesh. It has 2 hooks in the back. I think I am a Fantasie girl. I've only had good experiences from them!

I absolutely love this bra! It looks beautiful on and gives a nice shape to my breasts. I was measured improperly though so it doesn't fit as well as it should. The band rides up after I wear it for a little while. The color, style, and shape of this bra is wonderful. I will be looking to buy one in the correct size as soon as possible.
They sent me the 38FF, mislabelled, instead of the 30FF I ordered. I kept it since that's the size my mum measures at, but evidently she needs to size down for pendulous breasts. Other than that, all I can really tell is that the bra is really pretty and it cuts in quite sharply at the top so should be good for full on bottom breasts.
This bra has been taken in at the back band, so I needed to guess at the original band measurements. It stretched, but not more than my others, and has fit well for over six months.
The style is a little more conical than some of my rounder shaped bras, and might be good for women with long breasts. The very close together cups are a plus for me, because I have little space in the front and usually have take my bras in.
Just wondering where you found this bra and size on clearance? :)
