I like the full coverage. The band feels tight, but this bra is new and that's what I wanted. Comes up high under the underarms. This one has more breathing room in the cups than my Fantasie 2024, which I have in 34E. Not sure which I like better. I'm new to this wearing-a-bra-that-fits thing. Six-month-later update: I lost 10-15 pounds and the cups are now too big (although my other bras still fit).
I had tried this once when I was 8G/30G. the cup was made of "Felt" so unique and I thought like "wow" and thanks for that unique material it gave me great shape. If I could get this kinds of bra in my current size I would take it!
Sadly too big for me now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> A nice bra, very supportive. It's unpadded, with a side sling for support. Heavy embroidered top edge, with a nude layer behind. Straps are partially adjustable. Colour is warmer than my photos show.
Beautiful bra. Has a sheer soft inner layer, and the outer lace. This gives the appearance of a sheer bra. The seem placement seems to conceal nipples well, but that might vary depending on people's breast shape. Very comfortable, but not much stretch in fabric anywhere. Straps are half adjustable, lace half doesn't stretch, bottom half has some stretch. Lace is quite thin, so doesn't show through most tops. Gives a nice rounded shape for my FOB boobs.
This bra feels uncomfortable, probably the cup size is too small for me. My boobs feel too compressed and squished together, and the top of my breast spills over the top for quadboob effect. Decent support, and an extended band with 6 hook settings. I hate the shape it gives my boobs - them sideways/ east-west and flattens at the top with quadboob. It gets worse the longer I am wearing it.
It *almost* fits, but the underwire cutting into the breast tissue on the side makes it more and more uncomfortable the longer I wear it. You can see where the underwire ends under my arm, and then the empty casing on top bows out considerably, showing just how deep it's cutting into the side. I get just a hair of quad boob starting to happen on my bigger side, but you can hardly notice it until I'm wearing a T-shirt. Shape-wise, it's a bit wider and flatter than I like, taking the edge of my breasts outside the frame of my rib cage. They look droopier than I'd like, so I tried adjusting the straps... pretty much all the way on the half you can adjust. It lifted them a little bit, but then it began digging into my shoulders.
This bra is seamed on the inside but has soft, light padding in front to hide the seams. So it's a great t-shirt bra. Unfortunately, the cups are too shallow and small for me, and there is no stretch in the cups. I have quad boob on the left side. Because my left side is so much larger, it pulls the center gore to the left and prevents it from tacking. I also get underwire sitting on breast tissue on both sides, and too much strain on the thin straps. Even though the cups are too small on top, I have a bit of empty space in the bottoms of the cups.
I thought this bra fit reasonably at first because it is possible for me to, well, push my breast tissue into it if I bend over and scoop enough. But these are very narrow cups, and the underwire is much too narrow for me. It hits against my breast tissue on both sides under my arms. The wire also comes up fairly high on the sides, so more petite women may have trouble with it. I'm more bottom heavy than top heavy, and the too-narrow cups and underwire force the weight of my breasts to push hard against the bottom of the cups. This forces the straps to ...hold much more weight than they should. The underwire seems thin to me, which makes the bra feel unstable and weak since it's too small. The straps are not long enough for my lower set breasts, so they dig in badly. They are also too wide set for my relatively narrow shoulders, and fall off constantly.
I really like the shape, lift and forward projection this bra gives. I think it looks like it fits well -- center gore lies flat and everything. It's just that it's really really uncomfortable for me to wear with the underwire digging into breast tissue and and the straps digging into my shoulders. I listed it, but removed it pretty quickly and decided to keep it for now after looking at my photos since I could tolerate it for the length of a wedding or other special event. And I may end up needing it under a dress. Read more 153 more words
So, I was able to bend the left wire enough to make it fit around the breast tissue. My comfort level is much better now, though the straps really are too far apart. I'd say this is a very taut band.
This bra wasn't horrible but it's too high and encloses too much for low cut this but I get just a slight quadboob. It fits pretty comfy albeit a little scratchy. And it seems to work its way down through the day which makes the quadboob situation a little more prominent. And the black lace with pink means I'm limited with what tops I can wear.
Didn't like this one. Surprisingly squeaky when I first put it on, adjusting the straps helped a bit. Straps have plastic o-rings which contribute to squeaky besides the material itself.
Also itchy. Itchy everywhere, band, straps, underwires. Even after washing (less so though). Tightening the band to tightest hooks reduces itchiness and moving around (it's brand new).
Band stretches more than my other "34" inch bras. Cups are really deep. I fill out the bottom and top of the cup, but not the center. Using nipple covers rather than returning for a smaller cup.
This bra has a floral pattern, with straps on the wider side. They are not fully adjustable but are very comfortable. The cups are excellent for my shape and this is the only bra I own where my breast tissue doesn't fall out from the sides and "migrate" towards the gore. The gore sits up high which I think contributes to this and tacks well. The band feels quite loose - I can close it on the tightest hook and slide both hands under it on it's first wear and during the day I feel it ride up. The only other downside is that there is extra support boning on the side which is quite uncomfortable until the bra has been worn a few times. If it was shorter then it would be very comfortable. .
Bought this bra when I believed I was 34G but now found out my true size is 32H. The bra is an Australian 34G which is the same as UK sizing. Would say it is true to size both band and cup - offers good support and gives a natural shape. Quality is excellent.
This bra was given to me as a gift in a 30G (8G) so it's not my usual 28G-GG size however it still has an okay fit as it is quite small in the back. The underwires however, are quite wide and high which may be a little uncomfortable for some.
The lace is very sheer and looks great on and under clothes. I love the natural shape that it gives. Great for under T-shirts.
This is probably the best fitting bra I own. (In the cup at least). My regular bra size sits around a 28G however in Australia 28 backs are near impossible to find as most companies start at a size 32 back. That being said, I have being sewing in the backs of my bras since my teenage years so I am quite used to this predicament.
This bra looks absolutely massive in the cup, however... once I have it on it fits like a glove. As the name suggests I have found that this bra really does give a perfect profile. The cups completely cover my breasts with ...perfect separation and no cleavage what so ever. Perfect for when you are after modest smooth lines. The cups are quite deep particularly towards the bottom making it great for bottom heavy breasts.
The bra itself is what I call a 'granny bra'. Meaning to say it is butt ugly with a very full cup. However that's why I love it. I don't have to re-adjust the cups as there is no way I am going to come out of it and it makes my breasts look modest whilst still maintaining a natural shape. (Unlike some minimizer style bras that just squash you).
Unfortunately half of the bra straps are not elasticated and the straps do no adjust as tight as I'd like. This can easily be remedied by simply sewing them shorter.
The fabric of the cups is slightly thicker than say a single layer cotton however it is not thick enough to prevent nipples showing when cold but then again this is probably not the type of bra you are going to wear under a skimpy singlet as the cups and straps are so full.
I would highly recommend adding this bra to your stash. Cups sizes are very generous and bra is super comfy. Read more 208 more words
I really only buy this bra because it's incredibly difficult to find 12HH-sized bras in stores in New Zealand, and the 14H is usually reliably stocked at Farmers. However, it does fit okay on the tightest closure and doesn't move too much, and comes in a variety of colours (I should know, I own about five).
One out of the five does creak a little. They stretch out after about two wears. I would definitely recommend buying online if you have the option as they're quite expensive for a making-do purchase.
As a note comparing this to my other bras, I didn't buy it because I'd thought it would fit.
I can't really comment on the comfort or fit of the bodysuit, because of the fact that I knew from the outset it wouldn't, but with the difficulty of getting nice lingerie in my size, I thought I'd take the plunge anyway.
I love the navy lace on coral cups, and the overall look of the suit. I also appreciate the 3 hook fastening. The straps only are half adjustable, having a decorative 2 piece strap on the front and adjusting from the top down, which makes me think that if it was a correct fit, I'd have trouble getting them to the right length.
Wow, I never expected this bra to fit me. It looked way too big! Imagine my surprise when it did. For me, this is a great bra to wear under a t-shirt or top/dress that isn't cut too low. The cups are full, so they'd peek out if you are wearing a deep v-neck or anything. But under a t-shirt or knit top, it gives me a nice, smooth profile. I wouldn't really call this a ~*sexy*~ bra, but it offers great support, a million times better than my old (ill-fitting) bras. My posture is improved automatically just wearing this thing! So it makes a great addition to ...my lingerie wardrobe, even though I generally prefer the ~oomph~ of half-cups and plunge bras. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a basic, comfortable no-frills bra with full coverage.
[ETA]: Turns out this bra is too small. Still better than my old bras by a long shot. The deepness of the cups fooled me at first, I think. So, if you're looking for a 32E with deep cups with full coverage, this is the bra for you. I forgot to add that the material of the cups is really interesting: they are almost foam-like. Like one of those "spacer" bras, but there is a texture pattern in the cups. Read more 112 more words
This is a pretty comfortable bra and it looks nice enough. It doesn't give the best shape, I think - it sort of flattens my breasts in the centre and makes them look wider, but overall it's pretty good.
So, I was able to bend the left wire enough to make it fit around the breast tissue. My comfort level is much better now, though the straps really are too far apart. I'd say this is a very taut band.
