This is a good fit for my fob, very close set boobs. It's also quite comfortable. The bra is very pretty and has a lovely red colour. However, the seam between the lace and the other material is very pronounced, and the lace is also quite visible under tight clothing. So not a t-shirt bra, but gives a nice shape, rounded but not super round https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Tried this bra in two sizes, this one was too small. I still could not fill the top of the cup though because it's made for a fob shape and didn't provide enough lift for me to fool the top.
Grabbed this bra in two sizes in a bra giveaway in hope it would work for me. Unfortunately it doesn't provide enough lift for me to fill the upper part of the cup.
My favourite yet! My first try of a 30 band, and I'm pretty sure this is the right size. Loving the three hooks in the closure. Because I haven't tried other bras this size, I can't say how the sizing compares to other models or companies. I have to say, I was a bit dubious about the colour on the website and even b/f I put it on, but next to my skin tone the red is kind of cherry-ish (definitely not orange like it seems on the website). I was also a bit dubious about the fabric of the lower cup before I put it on, but ...it doesn't feel scratchy at all, just nice and firm and stable. I think I might have considerable central fullness because even though I think this is the right size, I get a small amount of central spillage/quadboob. In terms of shape, and after looking at my photos, I would prefer a slightly more round and uplifted profile, but pretty good overall. I am still getting some digging in along the fold at the front of my arm but I'm used to it and I don't know if I'll ever find a bra that doesn't do this given my narrow shoulders, shallow boobs and rounded rib cage. I have quite a lot of soft-tissue right there.
Given that I am at the beginning of my proper fitting bra search I might change my mind, but, at the moment, this bra seems to fit my shallow, wide root, close-set boobs really well! Yaaaaaaaaay! Read more 152 more words
ah nobody ever talks about flirtelle! I love their padded bras have you tried those? We're same size too :)
Oh wow - a size twin! I was just about to go and look at other Flirtelle bras on here b/c I am liking this one so much. If the others are anything like this one I'll be buying more. I hadn't actually heard of them before seeing this one on sale at Brastop.com and deciding I might as well give it a go for the price. Very glad I did! Have you found their bras to hold up well to wear and tear?
I've also gotten them recently myself but I have worn my Willow Padded (which apparently I forgot to add here--oops) a LOT since I got it, and so far it has fared well--the back is strong and has shown no sign of stretching out, despite wearing it through long hard fast food work days! It's been quite comfy too. I picked up 2 of its sister cuts and the Zara was a tad longer in the band than the Willow/Mia, probably not enough to cause too much of a difference, but IDK if that's just in the padded one.
Appearance and Construction: The construction seems passable. The bra is made from a smooth polyamide, nylon mesh which stretches over the thinly padded cups in the front. The inside is a contoured, lightly-seamed foam that is not uncomfortable.
The underwires are thin and are medium width- not "U" shaped, but not wide, either. Both the band and wires have give that allows them to stretch under moderate force.
The straps are made of shiny, ruched elastic with a satin weave and are quite stretchy. The width of the straps is very thin. Each strap has a single, narrow slider which is difficult to adjust. The closure has 3 ...columns with 3 eyes each.
Fitting: The band was much too small for me and I was unable to complete the closure. Despite the amount of stretch, I feel that an extender would not make a substantial difference in the fit. Because the cup depth is shallow, it does not allow my projected breast shape enough room, and I spill out over the top of the cups. While the gore is thin, my breasts are closely set and it does not separate them adequately enough. The thin straps are quite wide set, and press into the furthest reaches of my (narrow) shoulders.
I feel like different sizing would be appropriate. I will be returning this bra. Read more 111 more words
I love this bra. It fits well and I don't feel like I'm about to pop out of it. If I could I'd get it in multiple colours. It's really comfortable for me.
Not a great working bra though(dog groomer). An every day bra or a bra for a pretty outfit is what this is good for.
Oh boy. So much wrong with the sizing of this bra. I don't know this brand very well, but the model is too big in the band and too small in the cups. A 32G that fits like a 34E... For a UK brand this surprised me a lot. Maybe that's why it was so cheap on brastop. I couldn't believe how small the cups were. All it did was smash my boobs down. The fact that it has three hooks, yet hardly any adequate side wing support confused me as well.
I struck out hard on this bra, and can't return it. Blurgh.
for me the band was too tight and that stretched out the cups, amking them too wide. also i couldn't stand the lace at the top as it looked weird under clothes. ugly brown color
I exchanged for this after buying one in a 30F. Unfortunately it wasn't any wider. It cuts into me and the wires are very short on the side. A lot of tissue bulges out the side. For anyone who needs/prefers narrow cups and short wires, they should check this one out.
I got this from Brastop on sale in the Boysenberry colourway. It's an attractive shade of pink (darker and more of a muted rose colour than it is in the stock photo). The detailing looks nicer in person than it does in the stock photo, and I'm happy that Flirtelle seem to be one of the few British brands trying to make padded bras up to K cup (even if I'm at a lower point on the size range). However, it didn't work for me.
As far as sizing goes, I wouldn't call this a true 32H. It fits smaller in the cups ...than the 32GG Deco Honey I bought at the same time. This is also a bra in which my breast asymmetry is really obvious. I have major quadboobing on my larger breast, but the bra fits OK on the smaller one. It appears to give a nice lifted shape on the better-fitting side - however, I've identified a problem with this bra that I think would make it very difficult to wear with full-on-top breasts. On my larger breast I have cutting in at the top - this is very rare for me since I'm so bottom-heavy, and I think is only visible because the bra is too small. The top padded section (the one with the embroidery on it) swoops back in at the top, making the bra not very open-on-top at all. In the correct size, this bra would work great for someone with FOB breasts, and the asymmetry problem could possibly be corrected by sewing in a pocket for a removable insert at the bottom (I won't bother doing this since it's too small for me - this would also depend on your degree of asymmetry. For reference, I have about half a cup difference between mine).
This bra was very soft and comfortable - the inside of the cups feels similar to the Curvy Kate Tease Me bras. The straps are fully adjustable and have only a moderate degree of stretch (much less stretchy than the CK Tease Mes - about on par with the CK unpadded balconettes). The band appears to be fairly stretchy. This didn't bother me when I tried it on, but someone who requires a firmer band might want to size down. The cups are narrower and deeper than most CK, but not as deep as the Smoothie I tried - bear in mind this is a bit of a guess as the bra runs somewhat small. Wire comfort was fine, however the gore didn't tack - although I'll stress that this may not be a problem for everyone, as I have close-set breasts that get closer together further up my sternum. Gore height seemed to be about average.
Conclusion: This bra has a stretchy band and runs small in the cup. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone FOT and would suggest those with FOB breasts size up in the cup and down in the band if required for personal preference. Not the best choice for those with half a cup or greater difference between breasts. Otherwise, the bra feels comfortable and of reasonably high quality considering the price point of Flirtelle. I also appear to be the first person to have added the Anneliese to Bratabase, so I would be happy to respond to messages with specific questions about the bra. Finally, I will be listing this bra. This is a comfortable bra, very simple but pretty appearance, but I would not suggest it for people with soft breast tissue. It has lining but is not molded, and I end up getting a football shape from it. It fits well but I do not like the shape.
I LOVE this bra! The blue colour is so pretty and it's just super cute. Quite simple but really nice! The band is quite firm and tight which I like. The cup also seems to run a bit small, so at certain times in my cycle it gives me slight octoboob. But when it does fit it's wonderful. Great support as well! I wish this wasn't sold out in my size on brastop, I would love to get another one in another colour.
My shape seems to be even and narrow. I fill out the bottom of the bra well but there's a bit of wrinkling at the top for me. Either it's a cup too big or just needs more FoT shape. I've found all wires too wide so far but these were just too much for me. Overall very pretty and comfortable but needs someone who is wider and larger in the cup.
I got this because I liked the Flirtelle Rose Balconette (FL9022), a sister cut to Cheryl. The mesh is soft to the touch, like all Flirtelles and Curvy Kate bras I've tried. The colour, Sky Blue, is a bright turquoise; I can see it working on almost any skintone.
The cups are very wide, but deep enough to contain my projected breasts, and the tulip embroidery on the upper cup doesn't cut in at all. The band was, of course, too big, but shortening it just like on the Rose made it just fine. The shape is smooth and rounded. Overall, it's a cute, comfortable, and above all, affordable bra!
I really like this bra. I bought it from brastop when it was on sale for very low price mostly because I really liked how it looked and I wanted to try a padded bra that comes in my size. I think the padding is not too thick but I wouldn't call it a t-shirt bra either, the lace over the padding does show so does the cup edges. Despite being too small in cups for me the bra feels very comfortable almost like boobs on clouds.
pros + - padded bra that comes in my size - very comfortable - gore actually tacks and my boobs don't spill out over the gore ...as they do in all other padded bras
cons - - shape is weird - cups slightly too small, I get quadboob - bra isn't of high quality, the lace already got torn after a few weeks of wear
I still like to wear this bra even though it is too small in the cups. I wear it at home since it's comfortable. It also gives me some cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
I've not heard any word back on this one. I fear it's too large in the cups and too small in the band, along with not being her preferred style. I intend to get all up in her bra business soon. To keep her from feeling overwhelmed, I'll probably just ask about one bra at a time.
This bra is super cute, for a beige bra at least https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> no but really, the detailing is really pretty! And it's comfortable! I feel like it might run a bit big in the band though, or maybe my band size is changing, idk... Oh and it's a bit high in the armpit for me. But still quite comfortable!
