This bra has a very firm band. 4 rows of hooks. The wires doesn't come high in the armpits. It gave me a slightly pointy shape, but good support.

This fits *much* better than the 28E in the cups. The straps are placed slightly wider though, enough that I may not be able to use this bra for yoga, though I can use it for running with no issues.
I was afraid this bra would be less supportive in 28F, but it's not - it's just less squeezy.

The most comfortable bra I have in my arsenal right now, very tight to start with, after wearing three times, I can wear without extenders, broke in really quickly. Now I am on the second row out of four.
a tad small in the cup, but not noticeable.

Not the right cups size, gore doesn't lie flat making the band feel too tight but if the cups were larger the band would be a comfortable tightness as this is supposed to be tight to give activity support.
Has a pointy shape due to shape of cups
An extra good thing about this one is that these have 4 rows of 4 hook sets so would in theory last a bit longer as it stretches from wear and also extra hook to give more support (as opposed to a 3 hook)
Have to return though because the cup size is too small for me

This fit me weird, didn't support very well, the shape was odd.

If Bravissimo Dotty Spot were a sports bra… or I hardly ever wore a more pointy bra. Also those wires are super super wide. They are even too wide for me!
I have lots of empty space on the sides but not enough space on top-center! This causes quadboob and gore floating 3 cm away from my sternum! Also – honestly – I don’t think that these wires are strong enough anyway… I might could try a 34K but the wires will be even wider and the bra won’t give any support anymore. If it weren’t just for the pointy shape, I wouldn’t mind, but the whole construction is just so wrong for my boobs! –--- sent back asap

I've read fantastic reviews about the Freya Active sports bra, but as soon as I tried it in 34F (my usual Freya size is 32FF, but I went with the larger band size) the wires were way too wide for me. Sizing up in the band turned out to be great advice as it's not as stretchy as other Freya bras. Though, I couldn't get over the issue with the wires, so I couldn't keep this bra.

Ok. I was scared to size down this much but I guessed right. My normal size is a 36g. I tried a freya active in the sister size 38ff, and it was huge huge on my shape. Band was ok though...
Fast forward: found a 38E on ebay for $15 NWT so tried. Fits much better!
(Think I am getting reverse letterophobia .... I don't like the sound of 38E nearly as much as 36g or 34gg)
Freya Active Underwired gives a fairly pointed shape, but I don't mind because it gives good support. The gore does not tack on me, but 2 sizes up didn't tack either. I am ... close set (like- only 1 underwire fits between), and this bra is looking for boobs with more separation. The wires run much wider than the normal freya wires, which is another reason I needed to size down. Encapsulation type bras push both up on the breast from below and down on the bra from above, so if you are very full on bottom or pancake shaped, you might want to size down too. Band seems tight enough sizing UP to me. Not stretchy like normal Freya.
Cons: don't love the nude color, the black is way cuter. But I suppose it could do double duty as a regular bra.
I wish the straps were shorter or more adjustable. I am high set and I can tell I would get even more support if the straps were more snug.

In short, this bra is now a cup too small for me but I still wear it because it still provides great support while working out. I don't get that much of a pointed shape like some say that it gives.

Finally a bry which is wide enough on the sides.
It does its job perfectly by putting everything where it belongs.
