As usually with Freya the band is very loose (my personal opinion is that Freya follows the +2 idea of fitting) and I could use a band size smaller. The bra itself is very nice looking - delicate and lacy. For fit: there is no way this cut of bra will work for me. The cups are too tall and the apex too high. I fill out the bottom fine so I couldn't size down. Really, the best thing would be for Freya to start making the Freya Gem Half Cup (1363) in a 28FF and higher.

The Gem was a surprise: surprisingly narrow for a Freya bra and with enough projection for my breasts! The shape is a bit pointy from the side, but the design is so pretty that I'm able to overlook that!

I wish I'd tried this bra sooner! It is SO comfortable. I've always hated how bulky and unattractive Freya straps are, but they're definitely worth the comfort. I'm a 32F, but I generally take 30FF's in Freya's due to the stretchy band. Definitely the right choice for this bra because it fits comfortably on the last hooks. The wires could be a bit narrower for my smaller breast, but the extra bit causes no discomfort and looks fine. The cups might be a tiny bit too closed on top for me; I have to check again when my cycle is over because I gain a lot of upper fullness when menstruating, so I'll check back with that in a few days. Other than that, I have zero complaints about this bra. It's beautiful, and constructed nicely. I've been needing a black bra, and I'm glad I found one that wasn't too plain and boring, the pictures really don't do it justice. So glad I ventured out of Cleos and got this gorgeous bra.

If you're shallow on top you might not be able to fill the top of the cups. Likewise, if you're empty/shallow on the bottom you may not be able to fill the bottom of the cup.

I had some wrinkling and emptiness on the top inner section of the cup. I altered it by taking in between 1/8 and 1/4in of fabric along the top seam of the cup (between top section and bottom sections).

The band is a bit looser than expected. I think I could've sized down to a 28E.

I may try the gem half cup for a better fit.

This bra isn't perfect but I really wanted it to fit. I only recently started exploring to try to find my real size, beyond the 42C's that I've been cramming myself into. The band fits very comfortably, feels secure and stays in place well. The cups are nice and light, the way I like in an unlined bra. It gives good lift and projection for me, and the under wire feels like a good width and height. The purple color is very pretty. The shape is fairly natural but the seam makes a ridge that shows through knit tops. The upper lace section of the cup gaps and wrinkles at the top, where my wide FOB boobs don't quite fill it out. Also, the edge of the wing digs into the front of my underarm so that it rubs and chafes. If I lengthen the straps it helps with the chafing problem but makes the gapping problem worse, as well as making the overall shape become too pointy.

It fits! It doesn't stab or poke, and the straps aren't too far apart. I usually wear 30 bands, but I can wear this one on the last row of hooks for a comfortably tight fit or with an extender for a looser fit.

The shape is kind of pointy, although that may just be my natural shape showing through. And the seams will show through shirts unless you wear a couple layers.

My right breast which is half a cup to a cup bigger than my left has a slight quad boob effect at times in this bra whereas the left breast doesn't quite fill the cup. However, the sides of the breasts feel supported, so I'm not quite concerned about the slight gap in the left cup. The underwires fit me very snugly, which makes me feel very secure. Though I wish the wings were slightly taller to really encase all the tissue beneath the arms, it's really minimal especially visually.

The shape the bras gives is not rounded, so I'll have to be careful with what I wear ... on top.

Lastly, the material sagged throughout the day so that it provided less support and needed its straps shortened. I also really felt the height and width of the center gore as the day wore on. Where the center gore ends, my breasts are barely a finger apart, but I didn't register this as a huge concern when I first put on the bra. At the end of the day though, it did get a bit irritating and then slightly painful.

This was one of my first normal bra styles - a later iteration, but older now. Still fits well, but the wire does fall across my rib/sternum a bit - no helping that. Wires do tend to move down a bit through the day, but again - not a new bra.
