The cups gape at the top and wrinkle at the bottom. The gore touches my sternum, but the wires want to bunch up and either overlap or sit on breast tissue. I feel like the gore would be great if only it didn't come up as high. The band feels good.
ETA: After some fit help, I realized I was wearing the bra too low. Pulling it up into my inframammary fold fixed the bottom wrinkling and made the gore tack better. It also gave me a much better shape.
I don't get why the Deco gets so much love when it's so much like the bras from VS and Cacique. It's okay, but overall, it doesn't do much at all. It's foamy and plain and moderately comfortable, but feels utilitarian.
The Piper Longline bra set is truly gorgeous - beautiful black lace trim and black flowers on a peachy-pink background...I have the matching shorts and the set is beautiful.
I purchased this bra about a month ago. Since then I seem to have changed sizes, as the bra no longer fits properly. This was my first properly fitting bra (at the time of purchase, anyway.)
I loved this bra when I first purchased it. I felt supported and liked the shape. The straps are three quarters of an inch wide and have a little stretch for movement, but held firmly. They also do not loosen during the day due to the texture of the material. The underwires do not go up high into the armpit as other bras I ...have worn, which doesn't usually bother me anyway, but is a nice feature. The cups are set closer together than other bras I've worn. This bra has only two hooks to each row instead of three, but that was not an issue with this bra for me. There is also a bit of reinforcing mesh at the wing (I think that's what it's called) of the bra. The craftsmanship is very nice, especially compared to what I was used to before.
There are three small ribbon bows on this bra- one in the center gore and one on the base of each strap in the front. There is also a nice scalloped edge woven onto the edges of the straps and base of the bra. The decorations are subtle, and though I would have preferred a colored or patterned bra, it still looks nice in the beige color.
When I purchased the bra, the woman at the salon wanted me to wear a 36 G. I have a decent amount of back fat, so this wasn't holding me securely enough to my liking. I asked for the next size band down and felt much better. I was comfortable on the longest set of hooks and the bra seemed to support me well enough. Now I am most comfortable wearing it on the tightest set of hooks, but the cups are too small even when wearing it on the first set (quadboob effect.) Since I have noticed the size change, the cups seem to want to slide down so that the cups fold over a bit, so it does not shape correctly anymore. I assume this is a common symptom of having an incorrectly fitting bra. I am not sure what happened- maybe the band stretched out as it was broken in, or perhaps I've been getting better a the scoop and swoop technique. Unfortunately I did not measure the bra when I purchased it, so I have nothing to compare it to at the moment. I have hand washed it once and made sure to wait at least a day between uses to let the bra recover, so I doubt poor care is the issue.
In all, I loved this bra when it fit, and would definitely consider getting another in the correct size. Read more 400 more words
Okay, I was told plunge bras were not for me because of my shallow breasts. But I WANTED this bra because it's pale pink and I LOVE pink. Problem: I could fit my whole hand and then some in the cups.
I'm actually going to give it a go in 30E because I really did like it, and it seemed going down two cup sizes might be the answer.
It fits pretty much the same as my other decos in this size, which I also have reviews for. This is my third nude deco in this size, and I haven't noticed any inconsistencies in sizing between the bras to suggest anything different from what we already know about freya deco. Sadly, I think it's finally time to size up to 28G for me, though.
This is my new favourite strapless bra EVER! The band is a bit tight, though I fully expected that when I ordered it, but I also decided then that I would just wear it with an extender thus increasing it's lifespan! I have yet to buy an extender, but I have tried on the bra itself and worn it around the house, and save for the tight TIGHT band (which to be honest is a very good thing in a strapless!) I have nothing bad to say at all!
The cups are flush against my skin at the top, the underwires encase all of my breast tissue, don't poke into ...my underarm and the central gore is perfectly flush too! And I LOVE the round shape it gives me!!
This bra came with straps, and there's a very good chance I will wear it as a normal bra as well once I get the expander because it's just so gorgeous and comfortable!

It's not the best shape for my boobs that's for sure. It's wearable but not under a tight t-shirt. It's worth keeping for that "every other bra I own is dirty" day but not good for much else.
This bra does fit. It's not a bad shape on me. But, I don't know. I just don't like it that much. It's nothing with fit or comfort, but I just am not really sold on this bra.
The big part is the pattern. It just looks murky and muddy to me. But, it does hide nicely under lighter colored shirts, so it's not bad. It's just not cute.
Well, I do love these Patsy bras! Pretty color, solid construction. I have a little room in the top but that seems to be the case with just about every bra I have.
This bra is adorable, and fits me perfectly except for some room at the top of the cups! This is the only brand to fit at the sternum. Pretty, and gives me a good shape, but I'm concerned about tumbling out in the middle. Might be a shoulder width issue.
I originally got this bra thinking something like waffle = fishnets... Well, the pattern is definitely strange in person and not like fishnets at all, haha. I personally found it to be ridiculously tight, probably the first bra I got scared I wouldn't be able to close at all - but other measurements for this size have the band a bit looser, so maybe it stretches out quickly?
When I first put it on, it seemed to fit (although the bottom was wrinkly) but within seconds, there was quadboob, and oh it quadboobed HARD. Not sure if stretching it out will fix this but in general the top edge seems really tight, even for me. In general it seems typical of many Freya bras for me - wide straps, wide gore, meh shape, etc. The straps are fully adjustable though!
In comparing this to the Patsy longline, this one fits beautifully. It's perfectly snug, and it has three rows of 6 hooks each as opposed to the Patsy's two, which perhaps makes the difference. I highly recommend this bra.
As I'm wearing it today, I changed my fitting assessment. It DOES fit in the cups once I'm REALLY scooped and swooped. In this style I don't mind not quite filling the cups...I'd rather than than spilling over. But really, this fits! It isn't as snug (read: tight) as the Patsy longline, maybe because there is a third row of hooks. I also like the smooth straps, no little scalloping along the edges like some other bras I've tried, so I don't even feel the straps at all
Design: I really love how this bra looks, seriously if I ever get the chance to design my dream bra it would look like this! Purple is my favourite colour and the bra is a lovely deep magneta shade. The gore has two cute buttons on it and the straps have a bow where they meet the cups. The bra has thin stripes on the cups and back band. The buttons, bows and stripes are all a deeper darker purple than the cups.
The fit: Hatty doesn't fit me perfectly but the issues aren't severe enough for me to take the bra back. I have full on bottom ...boobs and the bra gaps slightly at the top of the cups but it's not very noticeable. The gore is slightly too wide for me and it sits on breast tissue but it not uncomfortable. I think this bra fits the same as the regular deco bra as it runs a bit big in the cups and band. I have a 29 inch underbust and the bra fits well on the loosest hook so sizing up to a 30 would make the band too big for me. I'm also inbetween sizes and even though they don't make a 28H it would have been too big in the cups for me. Hatty gives me the best shape out of any bra I have ever tried. I don't get a lot of cleavage but it gives a really upfront rounded shape that looks nice under clothes.
I love this bra so much. It was given to me in my quest to find the right size. At a 38F it's a bit too small - I measure closer to a 38G/GG but it's much closer than my 38D's. I fully intend to purchase this bra in my correct size.
