Although Freya Deco is one of the most bankable moulded bras on the market, it's not the best for narrow, full on bottom shapes. The moulded cups don't allow for all breast tissue to be supported evenly and the cups are too tall for high-breasted individuals. Of course, if you're looking for a basic tshirt bra, this is it. If you're shallow chested, this would be great. But if you're projected and looking for a full support bra, look elsewhere
I have been trying to find a nice bra for my conical breasts for about 2-3 years now. This bra is AMAZING. I went down a cup volume (32D to 32C), and it doesn't have any pointiness or gapping thats associated with other bras and conical breasts. The top sometimes doesn't fill out entirely, but it's negligible. It is seamless under shirts and my nipples don't show through.
The fabric itself is a bit scratchy, and there's some bows I had to cut off. Another downside is the straps are just slightly too far apart for me, but I'm willing to deal with it for a bra that fits so well
The cups on this bra are super stiff and thick. The fabric is soft. The size might be too big for me as the top of the cups cut into my arms. Would love to try this in a cup size smaller.
This is my second Freya Fancies bra, a giveaway from SoM . The Fancies plunge has quite deep, tall cups that are fairly closed at the top, with an elastic trip along the top of the cups - it might be an especially good fit for shapes that tend towards FOB and are quite shallow on top. I'm even to FOT with tall roots so the elastic cuts in on me a bit. The lace portion at the top is not stretch lace, so that's another thing to consider if you're FOT or have tall roots. It gives a natural, gently sloped profile with a slight ...peak.
The Fancies Plunges is a very delicate looking, lightweight bra, and is great for wearing in summer months. In my photos you can see that the gore on this bra has been altered - the wires have been pushed down and the top of the gore has been cut off - it's fraying and needs a bit of a repair job. I'm going to do my best and give it a bit of TLC, and hopefully I'll be able to wear it next summer. Read more 86 more words
The fit is very nice at first glance, but I get quadding when I move my arms around or straighten my shoulders. My breasts also threaten to fall out when I bend over.
The bra is made of two layers of soft lace. It's very comfortable to wear. I really like the width of the strap where it attaches to the cups - I feel it gives me a lot of side support. The cups have a single vertical seam running down the middle. I was pleased to see that the seam lays pretty flat and won't show under most tops. It's hard to describe the shape I get wearing this. It's rounded and yet slightly pointy. I think the cups are maybe a touch too shallow for me as well.
This is a nice T-shirt bra. It is pretty, comfy and gives a smooth, rounded shape. The cups are tall and shallow, and although my breasts are narrow, short and projected, they are malleable enough to 'adapt' to the shape. The straps are wide and easily adjustable, with the option of a J-hook. The band is slightly looser than I like (I got it very lightly used) but workable without alteration. I am happy with this bra.
I bought this in a 30F and it was love at first sight. Unfortunately I was over-tightening the straps, which masked the fact the cups were too big. I loved the bra so much that I bought it again in 30E and I'm so glad I did. I was worried I'd lose too much cup height by going down a size, but it's a perfect fit. The band is a true 30, nice and firm, and the cups fit me perfectly. They give a rounded, soft hills look. The bra is very comfortable and I feel supported.
Why do I keep buying these? They're so pretty but never work for me. This one seems a bit smaller than the Patsy and others I tried. The cups seem shorter and smaller overall
Ugh, I wanted this one to fit so badly! I originally purchased the Totally Tartan longline in a 30F, & hoped that by sizing up to a 30FF the quadboob would disappear.
Unfortunately, the cups are too wide and shallow for my breasts, no matter the size of the bra. The the lack of immediate & center projection created many fit issues that I dread. The cup wrinkles at the bottom as my breasts scoot the bra down in search of more projection. Consequently, as the cups ride down, the wires slide their way out of my IMF and sit uncomfortably on my ribs. The outer edge of the cup still cuts in and creates a bit of quadboob as the bra migrates down, even after sizing up. Lastly, the longline band annoyingly bunches and curls up in the front throughout the day.
Sitting in my drawer this bra is lovely in an understated, almost delicate way. But on my body, it's quite a mismatch.
This is a beautiful bra with a distinctly Spanish look to it, and the fabric is very sensual to wear. I normally wear 32's, but because reviews said the band runs big I ordered the 30. I would have been better off ordering the 32 anyway. The back is very sexy and despite (or maybe because of) only having 1 hook, I didn't have the dreaded back fat. The underwire is a full 1/2" shorter than the channel along the outer edge, so there is some spillage under the arm. The wire is also quite flexible, which conforms to your shape, but doesn't support all too well. It also seemed to stretch more than the band when I measured it. The gore is painfully uncomfortable on me. It is 1 1/8th" wide and sits too high on my close-set breasts. The top edge of the cup has 1/4" wide elastic which cut in on my short rooted breasts.
It is a beautiful bra...if you're lucky enough to fit you.
This size is significantly more comfortable for me than the 30FF. However, while walking, this presents considerable bounce. I don't think this is a practical bra for my activities.
The straps on 30G are a marked improvement over the straps in the 30FF: 30G straps are thicker and more plush. They are, however, only marginally wider.
The black deco fabric has an uncanny ability to attract light-colored lint. Each of the four NWT bras I received from Amazon were speckled with lint. And, despite the smooth surface, the lint does not "brush off."
Within a few minutes, I feel a cup crease developing 1.5" up from the band. Sigh. This is not a great bra for me, but I can recommend it for wide, shallow breasts. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
