Wore this bra for my best friends wedding. This was the only one that could hold the weight of my 34J boobs. I would highly recommend this bra to anyone looking for a great strapless.
I like this bra, got it used. It gives a good shape before is swoop and scoop. Then it is just a quadboob mess. I like the color and I wish I had one in a 32gg/h so I could have one that fits.
Had to size down in the cup because otherwise I got the potato sack effect. Because it's sort of stretchy on the top cup, it fits without digging in anywhere. It is not as stretchy as the panache stretch lace, which I feel provides virtually no structure. This is a more happy medium. Band is not a tight 30," it's a true 30," so I can tolerate it and it gives good support. This gives me great support that is still comfortable. It helped with my chronic neck pain and reflux. I also have better posture. I don't get seam show-through under any of my T-shirts. I'm buying another one!
So this is my second attempt at buying a Freya bra after only buying Curvy Kate for a few years. The first one was a 30HH plunge, but I know now that it was definitely a mistake to go by my usual CK size. I went one cup size down when I got this one, but it appears to still be slightly too big for me, My biggest problem is actually the height of the cup and centre gore. I usually expect a plunge bra to sit quite low on my sternum, which is good for me, as I have close-set breasts. This one, however, sits really high. The ...gore is even higher than on all of my other bras, most of which are balconnets. The cup height means that while my breasts fill the bottom of he cup, there appears to be a lot of loose fabric above them. I found that the band fit best with the middle row of hooks clasped and it does stretch further than I expected for a 30 band, so I'd say it runs a bit large in that regard as well. I'm not really sure what's going on with my boobs, maybe that the shrinkage is more than I wanted it to be? In the areas near the strap placement? While I really did want this bra to work, it simply does not. Since I got this bra used, it could be contributing to the loose fit and the softer cups. I will see if I can get my hands on a new one in the future.. maybe even size down more.
Pros: - Gives excellent shape, comparable to that of a wired, moulded bra - Very comfortable - Awesome cleavage (that I did not get from the 28F bra ...here: http://bra.pe/XMOf/) - Good quality -- I can tell this bra is quite used and it still works great as far as lift, shaping, etc.
Cons: - Cups are very tall - I get gaping if I slouch or move my arms in since the straps are placed too far apart for me (or maybe the cups are simply just too big?)
Overall, great bra. Not giving up on this one yet.. Just will take me some time since I already have like a million bras XD Read more 84 more words
I don't think this bra has enough immediate projection for me - I have some wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. The cup also seems much larger than my other bras by Freya but they are the sports (4002 and 4892 in 34DD) so that may be the difference, either way I end up with a LOT of gapping at the top & middle. Definitely not a fit on me. Maybe if I size down to a 32D/DD I would have a better fit there but with the other problems it just isn't worth trying that out.
I had to sew center gore closer, I wish there was a size in between this one and the 30 F one I had, I feel like it would be perfect somewhere in between. I love the appearance and shape it has, but the larger cup gave me less lift from the profile.
This bra is fully padded and has a lace overlay on the top portion. It's not ideal for short roots, FoB. The lace overlay portion gapes. I'd heard that Freya's can run big in the cups and this seems to be true with the minx. It's a teeny bit shallow, but I'm still comfortable in it, being very projected. It does not make a good t-shirt bra because of two seams running up the cup and one running across. I do have problems keeping the wide-set straps on my shoulders. The band is very stretchy and I easily could have sized down.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
I didn't have enough fullness for the top portion of the cup so I took in 1/4" near the gore on each lace portion of the cup
I get quadboob in this. The cups go up higher on the sides then my Freya Enchanted. This cups are see through mesh. It is very well made and pretty, too bad it doesn't work on my FOT shape. The depth is fine and so is the projections at the bottom of the cups. Band is nice and firm.
This bra is in smaller sizes is FOB only! It is so close off on top I can not believe it. The band is also very stretchy. I usually am a 30/32 band, and this 30 band I could wear on the tightest setting. I would size down in the band. Too bad this bra doesn't fit because it's so well made and pretty. The cups are transparent and at the top of the cups their is a black elastic that is very tight. If the cups didn't have that elastic part at the top of the cups, I think this would have fit.
Sometimes hits my tail of Spence weirdly but other than that random thing, its one of my favorite light summer bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I love the pattern and the fabric
This fits similar to my Freya enchanted in white, this review is for the beige color. The gore is a tad bit wider and the cups a tad bit more open on top then the white one. Might be due to it being stretched out because it was super discounted. Either way, like with all bras, if you like a style, you should try it in at least 3 different bras in the same size to determine if it is right for you. So many times I thought that Freya wouldn't fit me, it was due to inconsistent manufacturing.
I have mixed feelings about Deco Plunge. I have one in black (30/65F), one in mint green (E cup, also a Honey) and then this one (D, green Honey). Obviously, I've been through some weight fluctuations... I started with the E, then had to up to the F, and this D was a guess after the E much later became too big. The D is clearly too small in the cup, but I won't be looking for a DD: too shallow, and wires do not come up high enough: I spill out into the middle, and on the side, but still have tons of space on upper-outer sides. ...Such a shame, because the bra is cute, well-constructed and the color is great. It made me go back to re-assess the E, which in terms of wires, really isn't far off (also similar to @Cleo Lexi btw) it's the shape of the cup. The other issue I have with this one and the black one, but not the mint: the top of the cups seem to curve out, making the issue worse and the bra visible under clothes. It's weird because the E-cup I have does not do that, which also helped the overall fit, almost less like a plunge and more like the half-cup. In fact, I've double-checked the tag a thousand times and can't figure it out: clearly says 1254...
*edit* The black one is actually an E (30/65E) not an F!!!! I don't understand, seems much bigger than the Deco Honey. Read more 145 more words
I've always loved the aesthetics of this bra. Some Freya padded half cups fit me better than others. Fifi actually has quite narrow wires and deep cups for this size. Alas, good enough only for my smaller side. Gives a nice rounded shape.
This is a pretty bra with dainty lightweight mesh.
I accidentally ordered the wrong size. I would be nervous to try this again in a better size because the gore is wide, does not work at all on my close set breasts, they literally pushed the cups to overlap the gore on their own.
This is a pretty and fun alternative to a plain black bra. It has purple lace trim and a purple bubble print.
I like that this bra fits tight, the band stays put and keeps my breasts held up high. Unfortunately the cups are a small and I quad at the top. I can still wear this bra if I want pretty cleavage and a shirt doesn't fit tight to show the quadding. If I order this model again I would get a larger band and cup.
It Is generally comfortable. I am close set, so the low and close set gore is good for me. The problem with a low gore for me is that I tend to slide in to the center, and have gaping at the upper corners near the straps. This doesn't stop me from weari the bra however. The 32 band is definitely very stretchy, and too big on me. If I order another deco I would probably chose a 28band.
The bottom of the cup does collapse a bit when I wear it, too shallow, but other wirefree bras I've tried are much worse. It's not noticable under clothes so I wear it anyway.
The band may feel comfy at first, but it tends to dig in as the day goes on. It can hurt as much as a my regular Deco! I would not recommend sizing down in the band. These aren't huge Freya bands, and my experience is that even if the band stretches a bit larger, they still end up digging in painfully. I had a well worn 28E that never quite stretched enough to be comfortable on me.
This bra would be best for me in 30E, but most of the digging in is alleviated with an extender.
When I first put this bra on it felt a little too snug in the band, but I wore if for a few hours and it feels okay. The wire channeling is a little thicker and the gore feels just a tad too wide, like literally, 2 millimeters or something so I'm not too worried about it hurting too bad. The fabric has a very spandex-like feel to it. Very vivid colors. Embroidery does show through thin knit tops.
