This bra is beautiful; unfortunately, I've only worn it twice as the cups are just a smudge smaller than the usual Deco 28G. My left, slightly higher boob bulges right out unfortunately. Otherwise, this bra is comfortable, and the removable/fully adjustable straps are a smart addition to the Deco brand. One of the back four loops for the straps DID come undone barely one wear in, though, so not of the best quality at least there, which I found very disappointing.
This bra is very cute and appears to be well made. Freya's bands runs a little large in my experience, so consider sizing down if that's an option. The cups are a little too tall for me under the arms so this bra looks better than it feels. Even when I'm not quite filling the top of the cup, I get cleavage due to the low plunge and my center fullness. Looks good under clothes.
Needed a wirefree bra after breast augmentation. This was my first bra in my new size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It fit better when it first arrived, but after I broke it in and washed it a few times the bottom of the cup wrinkles. It's not noticeable under clothing, or even undressed unless I point it out.
The straps are slightly far apart for me, and the clips on the straps have a tendency to slip so I have to shorten the straps and pull them toward my neck to get rid of the wrinkling at the bottom of the cup.
The problem seems to ...be a shape issue, not a size issue. I am FoT, close set, have average roots and a good bit of projection. Plus the angle at my IMF is close to 90 degrees, which seems to be the source of most of the problem. I think this bra would be better for someone who has a wide root and is FoB or has shallow breasts.
Keeping this bra despite the wrinkling issue because my plastic surgeon doesn't want me in an underwire just yet and it also gives killer cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 96 more words
Bias disclaimer: I far prefer underwires, but cannot wear an underwire for at least 6 weeks after my boob job.
Fit pretty well when I first got it; the material was stiff enough to force my FoT breasts into the bottom of the cup. After a few washes the material softened and my breasts will no longer conform to the cup, creating a wrinkle at the bottom of the cups. This can detract from the bra's ability to support, though it can be (mostly) remedied by shortening the straps and pulling them slightly toward my neck.
The gore does not touch my sternum at all, however this IS a ...softcup bra and that is to be expected. If I press the gore to my sternum the wrinkle goes away and the fit is lovely, so I don't believe this is a size issue. I tbink if I sized down there wouldn't be enough room for my projection. I think this bra would be better for someone with shallow breasts.
I also noticed I have to adjust the straps frequently; the clips on the straps are loose enough to easily adjust, but they are also loose enough to slip as I move around and go about my day.
I would recommend this to someone who cannot wear an underwire or has shallow breasts. Otherwise the OIG effect gets annoying. Read more 117 more words
I think I need a 30G. I recently bought an extender that I plan to try with this 28G. People said the Deco band was stretchy, so I sized down in the band, but I forgot that smaller bands always have less stretch in general. Womp. Anyway, I get gapping by the straps in both 28G and 30FF (which I was able to try on at Nordstrom). The straps also dig into my front-of-armpit fat, precluding this becoming an everyday bra, for comfort reasons. Straps are too widely spaced and wide in general for me. I did find that the Deco Charm fabrics were more comfortable than regular ...Deco. They were less stiff, more satiny-stretchy. However, the Charm definitely would have showed through my shirts, so it was out of the running also. I guess the Deco is just not ideal for me, except on days when I need a va va voom under a dress/top. It's currently my only nude bra, so it's getting more wear for that reason: hopefully my Comexim basic in the mail will replace it. Read more 72 more words
This bra is going back, but if it goes on sale again, I may try it in a cup size down.
I own a @Deco Spotlight in 28G that fit after bending the wires, so I chose this bra in the same size. The cups are much taller on the 28G Vibe, resulting in them being too big for me. The frame also seems a little bigger, but that should be cured by going a cup size down.
As far as I can tell, my only fit issue is that I'm full in the center.
So, I think the band on this one is too tight for me. But it's weird - it's loose in front (tent effect), and super tight in back, cutting into my skin. The tightness of the whole thing pulls it down so the underwire hits about an inch and a half too low. So, that screws up all around fit. However, I think if the band were a little looser, and actually fit where it needed to, rather than pulling low, the cup volume and shape would be decent (I'd likely want to try it in a 30FF). There would be a question of whether it would be supportive enough at that point though. 30 bands rarely are supportive enough for me.
I bought this bra on Reddit as moderately to heavily used. I could tell as soon as I measured the band and it stretched past 31" that it was used often. But I just wanted to try it out since it's technically the same as the Ashlee but in a black colorway. I first tried out the Ashlee in a 28FF and it was def too small in the cups. So I figured the 28G would be perfect. But even after being used heavily by the previous owner, I was still getting quad boob in this. So I'd def need another cup size up and prob a band ...size up as well since my new Ashlee was very tight in the band (that, and I don't think it IS available in a 28GG). I would love to get my hands on a Pale Pink Ashlee in a 30G https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Wishful thinking. Prob one of the hardest bras for me to find yet!
But out of all the Decos I've tried, I'd say this fits most similarly to the Charm, but about a cup size smaller. The lift and cleavage it provides is awesome, better than the other Decos. But the velvet trim on the outer edge of the cup does show thru. Otherwise, it's your typical Deco - comfy thick straps (not too thick tho) that are fully adjustable, perfect gore height, wing height, shallow in the cup, perfect wire width and an overall great shape. I'll have to try this in a larger cup size and update my review. Read more 158 more words
This bra really wants to separate my boobs and I'm not sure why. The straps are too wide. The wires are a little too wide but still comfortable enough to wear. The cups aren't quite projected enough for me, I think. The band is really stretchy but feels like a comfortable 30 (it's weirdly firm and stretchy at the same time? But definitely not a 28 band). The cups don't lift me very much; I'm getting a more droopy, teardroppy-shape, which feels natural but not quite as structured as I like. That's a personal preference, I think.
I'm really liking the grey and pink colors, and I adore the idea of having such a see-though bra. It manages to be both girly and a little sexy at the same time. But it's just not doing anything for me. The too-tight tops of the cups aren't fun and for a plunge it seems to really want my boobs to stay far away from one another. I don't think I'll be wearing this bra.
Wires are too wide for me. The band fits like a true 28 but I haven't worn it very much yet. There is not enough immediate projection at the bottom of the cups and as such I get about an inch of empty space in the bottom. However it seems almost tolerable on centre projection. The tops of the cups are too tall and a bit more than on my Deco Crystal and would be much worse if there wasn't also empty space in the bottom I think.
This style has always been my go-to for an everyday bra. Living in Canada (and it currently being winter), having a moulded cup bra is pretty much the norm if you want to hide your pokeys. Even in summertime, you walk indoors and the a/c will instantly betray your nipples if you're wearing a soft cup bra.
I've been playing around with Deco sizes to see the varying levels of comfort and shape each offers. So far I've tried 30G, 28GG and 28G. I'm going to say that I feel comfortable in all 3 of these sizes, but in terms of bust perimeter, the 28G is a bit ...tight. The 28GG of the same colour that I own is the most proper fit for me in the Deco size range. But I like the 28G in that it gives me both a plungey cleavage line as well as some cakes as a result of the total bust perimeter of the bra (band plus cup volume) being a tad small. If I'm going for lots of cleavage, I'd grab my 28G, but the 28GG is great for every day and every occasion. Read more 83 more words
Well, I can never go wrong with a good Deco. This bra is everything I expected from Freya. Just about a perfect fit! I LOVE the shiny heather grey colorway with the Ivory lace overlays and ribbons. So pretty and feminine.
This Deco does seem to fit a bit differently than other Decos I've tried. It doesn't really give me as much lift and "oomph" unless I hook the J hook for the Racerback option. Then I get some amazing lift and cleavage going on. I do feel like this is a rather loose 28 band, I had to hook it on the tightest setting straight away. And ...oddly enough, I get the slightest bit of "orange in a glass" syndrome on my left, smaller boob. There is the tiniest bit of empty space at the very bottom of the cup but it's def not noticeable. And the edge of the top part of the cup does "roll out" a bit but that doesn't bother me too much. The gore is a nice height, not too tall for my close-set boobs. I do feel like the straps are a little too far apart, but that's normal for me with Decos. As always, I love the shape this bra gives. Such great lift without all that padding and oh so pretty https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 119 more words
cup's width to wide for me, but serious spillage would occur if go down a cup size, so i adjusted the wire by hand to create a deeper cup and narrower wire to fit me properly. The band may be too loose, wrinkled in the band near the cups.
Sadly, this bra didn't fit me. The band is quite loose, I had to hook it on the second row of hooks to start with. I could've done better with probably a 28F or FF or even a 26G. I don't fill the top of the cups nor the bottoms, which feels strange-- my breasts just kind of sit somewhere in the middle of the cup. The gore tacked fairly well, but that was really the only thing that fit overall. The straps are quite wide as well, but not too much that if the bra had actually fit everywhere else that it would have ruined it for me. Such a shame since it's such a cute bra!
On the plus side, the material on the inside of the cups is really soft, and the wide straps would do a good job of supporting someone who actually filled out the bra properly.
My first of two Freya longlines, I was quite pleased with it, but not as pleased as I was with the Pansy.
The band is very snug, and I had put on quite a bit of weight over Christmas, so it was uncomfortable the first time I wore it. However, I'm losing the weight and it's far more comfortable now. The band isn't very stretchy, and as it's a longline and I'm a bit squidgy, the bottom has a tendency to roll up when I sit down.
The cups are a TINY bit too small for big boob, but they're just about perfect for small boob. I ...also think that once I've dropped the remaining 2.5 kilos of Christmas flub that the big boob will sit more comfortably.
This bra is a bit more shallow than I had anticipated, but I don't find it causes many issues. It gives a gentle, uplifted cleavage rather than bum-crack cleavage like a Deco.
Straps are soft and fully adjustable. I'm quite short with a short torso, so fully adjustable straps are very important for me.
Six hooks but only two sets of them - might be trouble if you've got a very small ribcage and worry about stretch.
It's a shame this bra doesn't go past a G cup; I don't know why brands outside of Curvy Kate fail to recognise the desire for lightly padded or moulded cups in larger sizes. Read more 136 more words
This bra fits me pretty well. I usually wear a 30ff in other Freya lines but the 30 band was too lose so I purchased a 28. A 28 is a bit tight but this bra streches out so fast that it already fits better. I love the smoothness and feel of the cup. I was a bit surprised when I put this bra on and saw all of my breast tissue pushed forward. If you want a good amount of cleavage this is definitely the bra for you.
The trim along the side of the cups can be irritating against my arms, but other than that this bra is so soft and comfortable! The lace in particular is surprisingly soft. I adore this color and want more bras (and clothes!) in this shade of blue. Doesn't give the most rounded shape but still very wearable.
That bra looks amazing on you :) And it doesn't matter if it doesn't "fit" perfectly. As long as it is comfortable.
