It didn't really fit me, but the Deco Charm still did an admirable job of pushing the boobs up and center. On me the cups gaped all along the inner side and top, and the gore does not work at all. Much too painful to consider keeping. Wires and cups are both very firm.
I got this for cheap on amazon even though I thought it might not fit. I was right. It's close-ish but even for $7 I think I'm sending it back. The cup is a little narrow for me, and the wires slide out of my IMF, especially on my left (larger) boob. The volume is close, maybe a little small, the band is good, a true 30 which is unusual for Freya. The colorway is honestly kind of hideous but I really enjoy it. The fabric is soft, I think it would wear really nicely, but the shape is just all wrong for me. I get a very ...pointy shape, which I'm fine with in a lot of cases but this bra doesn't seem like it's supposed to give that shape, it just doesn't fit me. I have a very conical shape naturally and because this bra is so narrow and projected it isn't shaping my breasts into much of anything, they're just kind of running amok. I think this bra could work for someone with narrow roots who's FoB or has slightly shorter roots. I'm even with tall, shallow roots and it kind of cuts in sometimes, but has weird wrinkles in the top section by the gore. Read more 101 more words
I got this bra for like $7 on amazon, so even though I knew it probably wouldn't fit I decided to try anyway. It was even worse than I expected. Lots of cutting in at the top, too narrow, too small, about the right amount of projection if it'd fit properly everywhere else. I have an even, conical shape, average width, but vertically tall and shallow roots, and fit around a 30DD/E right now. If you're very FoB or have very short roots this might be a better fit. The band was also really loose feeling. It measured a little over 31" stretched which should feel fine for me but it really felt loose. The color and fabric are lovely and I really wish this bra had worked for me. I want to try the halfcup in maybe a 30DD or 30E, hopefully they'll get super cheap on amazon too. This bra does have a lot of projection as everyone says and runs probably half to a full cup large.
Cute bra, but the cup presses into my breasts on the outside. The seam on the last panel digs in and sort of bisects my breasts vertically, too. Very odd. Cup too wide maybe?
I admit defeat. Moulded diagonally cut cups do not work for my soft, rather empty, small breasts. I hardly have any upper breast fullness. I read the reviews and kind of knew it going in, but wanted so badly to find something that gives great cleavage. This isn't the one. I have gapping on the sides, where strap meets cup, and along the first inch or so of the cup. With a good swoop and scoop, I also have quadboob on the lower inches of cup, where cup meets band.
That said, for differently shaped breasts, I can see this bra being extremely flattering. I love the rich ...purple color. It's supportive, rounding, and pretty comfortable from what I can tell. The J-hook is such a great idea for achieving maximum cleavage. I love that feature, but imagine it means using extra care when washing, so as not to snag delicate fabrics. The fit improves slightly for me when I hook the J-hook.
This is my first experience trying on a Freya bra. The first thing I noticed was that the 30 band feels much larger than it does on any other brand I have tried thus far (which has only been a handful, but still...). I had to put it on the tightest hook and can still fit a whole hand between it and my body if I really try. This seems strange, because it only measures slightly bigger than others I have measured, but I guess that difference in combination with this particular style, allows this band to fit differently. I would downsize the band in the future and try a 28, especially since everybody talks about how their bands are known for stretching. The cups seem to run true to size, but please don't take my word for that because it's so hard to judge when the bra just fits all wrong and I have yet to find something that does fit properly. My estimated size here and on abrathatfits is 30DD/E.
The gore lies flat and sits comfortably on my sternum. The sides, near my armpits, don't come up quite far enough for me and allow for all sorts of spillage of breast tissue in that area. Read more 261 more words
The Jolie in 30D is just too small in the cups for me, I probably should go for a 28E or 28F to get a decent fit. Love the bubblegum colour and I think the shape would work in the right size, too. The cups seem to be closer together than expected and compared to other unlined bras in the same size.
Weird bulge in the lace part from soft breasts. Band felt pretty stretchy and I had to use the 2nd hook right off the bat, so I think I'll be exchanging this for a 28DD. The gore is a little wide for me as well. The straps are hard to adjust because they are very tight in the plastic piece, so don't slide at all. This seems to give a more rounded shape.
The band on this is ridiculous. I pretty much didn't need to stretch it at all in order to hook it on the loosest. Considering it's 26 inches unstretched and my underbust is 27 inches, yes, that is what happened.
Other than that, the cups fit ok. The width was good. The gore was comfortable. The cups were a little too deep, as there were gaps at the top and all over as soon as I moved, but they were ok. Not great, but okay. Sizing down in the cups would only make the cups too narrow, so this is probably the best I can do.
The foam ...lining was softer than the fabric over the cups, so it was comfy. The seams on the left cup were a bit unfinished, as I could see the foam peeking underneath the seam. The foam is a very light beige, so it was obvious against the hot pink layer. It's not a functional flaw, but it doesn't look very neat.
The straps are fully adjustable. They weren't itchy, but they weren't super nice either.
I could probably make a 28DD work, but no way can I make this 30D work. Read more 91 more words
I really like this bra. It's super comfortable, pretty, and it gives a nice, uplifted, rounded shape. I wish in came in size 28E, but 30D works. I will certainly buy more Freya Half Cup bras; hopefully they will offer a 28 band! I wear size 30DD in most other brands (Panache is my favorite), so, to me, this bra runs large in the band and the cups. This bra does not do as good a job at keeping my breasts front and center as the regular Deco, probably because the wires are a lot shorter and the band is thinner. It is a great bra for low-cut shirts. It's too padded for me to wear on a regular basis.
Of course this is an adorable bra—flamingos! That said, the fit is not quite right for me. Gaping at the top, and the band is, for me, not tight enough (though I've had the bra for maybe a year?).
I've wanted a long line for a while and I'm happy with the way it looks and it feels quite secure and snug for a 30 band.
I'm not sure if Freya have changed this bra a bit, because bratabase is telling me its discontinued, and other reviews say there are only two lines of hooks, whereas I got this bra recently (albeit in the sale), and it has three columns of hooks. So maybe it's a slightly newer version.
I've put it as fitting although I think there might be a slight shape mismatch, because during the day it shifts so that the wires are sitting on my breast tissue. But almost all my bras do this.
Top tip: I find this bra a lot easier to do up at the back if i start from the top hooks and hook down rather than up. When there are only 2/3 hooks per column I'm in the habit of doing it the other way.
I ordered this bra on Amazon because I needed a good strapless. Although it's not perfect, it's far better than anything I've ever owned before. The band is surprisingly snug for Freya, and the cups run true-to-size. Since I'm sort of between sizes, there is a little bit of quadraboob, but not a really noticeable amount. It's obviously not as comfortable as some non-strapless bras, so I don't really wear it too much on an everyday basis, but it does work well for strapless dresses and other garments with thin straps. But the main selling point for me is that it stays up and I don't have to adjust it all of the time compared to strapless bras from major retailers like Victoria's Secret, which are so loose that they are basically falling off of me. I would really like to at least see 30 bands at stores like VS.
I could just get away with this bra if I wanted to because it fit my 28DD bust mostly fine, but there was one issue that prevented me keeping it. My bottom heavy breasts felt compressed in the bottom of the cups, which upon examination, is cut quite sharply (rather than being rounded) in the 30D. I think they were getting squished upwards too much. I tried the 30DD and that felt like a better fit in the bottom of the cup, but the upper cup was gaping. Possibly a symptom of these not being cut quite wide and shallow enough for my shape. I find the Freya padded half cups more comfortable!

Such a pretty bra!!!! So I kept it even though the fit isn't perfect. I know, naughty https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" /> It is very comfy, which I put down to the lovely soft, bendy wires! I wish freya soft wires were in all bras because I have a bony ribcage and these wires are perfect for my bony frame and 28DD bust.
It fits great except that, firstly, the band is ridiculously long and stretchy. I definitely needed a 28 band here but it wasn't available. Secondly, although it fits my bust almost perfectly, there is a little gaping at the top of the cup. I'm guessing it's meant for people with slightly more projection higher up since I am wide rooted , shallow and bottom heavy. I ignored these things though and kept it, since it is insanely comfortable. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> I'll probably try shortening the band at some point.
I have a wide root and shallow boobs. I do need flat cups but not extraordinary wide wires. I almost don't have any volume on top.
I bought this bra used so the band is already stretched out, I guess it needs to be altered soon. As Freya-bands are quite wide often I suppose it has always been a little wider than true to size. The cups are shallow and very open on top, they fit me well even though there's a little gapping on top which might be caused by the wide band. The wires are wide and soft, they extend while wearing.
This bra is too full coverage for my petite frame. There was a slight shape mismatch, but I gave it up mostly because of the coverage. The band was true to size, so it was too loose for me. The last hook was the only hook I wore it on. The multiway was nice, but I have other bras that I like better that fulfill those needs. I would LOVE the black version of this in 28DD, I think the black looks super sexy and sleek.
I had given up long ago on finding a strapless bra, but here we are! Great for shallow breasts, and a nice snug band. This gives me a rounded shape and great uplift. And it stays put! I wore it around the house for 2 hours, and completely forgot I had it on. Great support, and comfy too!
