I get a bit of east/west in this bra and the cups are just a bit too separate for me. It doesn't cause any spillage, but I find it makes the center gore not lay flat.
Definitely not the bra for me. The fabric is cute though and I like the colors.
This is the first bra I've ever tried where the center gore wires keep shifting and trying to lay on top of each other. The lace on top also cuts in a bit causing some quadraboob, and I get a slight east/west look from this bra. Not quite what I am used to from Freya. Weird.
The band is nice and the straps are fairly comfortable.
I had been lusting after this bra since before it was released, but wanted to wait for a sale... and I am very disappointed as this was a terrible fit on me! I have worn Freya before, but only in their half cups.
Good: The colours on the Marina are beautiful. It's just gorgeous looking. The bra is incredibly comfortable, even on the tightest hook (I probably would have been better off in a 30J, which I wear in Curvy Kate's Showgirl range). The centre gore is narrow (one of the reasons why I thought it would work for me), the wires don't come up high ...so they won't poke and I can see the material being very comfortable to wear on a long day.
Bad: Centre gore poked out, terrible quadboob and wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. I also got this odd long wrinkle down the top half of the cup. I think the shape is just completely wrong for me and the material is not malleable enough to mould to my shape properly. If I went up to a 32HH or 30J to help with the centre gore and quadboob problems, the wires would be too wide and I would still get wrinkling in some parts anyway.
If I were fuller on bottom and less so on top, can see this working a lot better.
This colourway is beautiful... the green and orange looks stunning. Even though it was a bad fit, it was very comfortable. I can see this style being good for day to day wear, as the material does not irritate at all. The underwires do not come up high so shouldn't poke those with a short torso.
Unfortunately, I got quadboob in this bra, wrinkling at the base of the cups, one wrinkle down the top half in the centre and the centre gore wouldn't go flat. I was a little surprised as the narrow centre gore is one of the reasons I purchased this bra ...(apart from the beautiful print). I think the material (which is a bit stiffer than my usual lace/mesh underwires) just weren't suited to my full-on-top breasts. Even in the next cup size, I would still get the wrinkling at the bottom.
It does stretch quite a bit, so I'd recommend possibly going down a band size. This one could be stretched up to 35-36 inches, so if you like a snug band, I'd go down to a size 30 band. Read more 82 more words
I was able to put this bra right on the tightest hook as soon as I got it, and could still pull it away from my body a bit. As well, I think the wires are too wide on this for me - I need something with narrower wires and more projection. There was loose fabric on the sides of the cup under my armpit, and the center gore didn't sit flush against my chest. I noticed that the wires on this bra didn't seem very "sturdy" - they bent pretty easy when I did up the band, pulling back and "opening up" the curve they create.
Overall, the bra is pretty, and the fabric feels nice against the skin, but it doesn't work for my shape.
this bra was huge in the band and huge in the cup, im guessing im more of a 30H in freya. i had to send it back and cant even say anything about the fit tbh.
I get a slight quadboob that gets much worse when I enter pms https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> but I still wear it sometimes, because even though I could go down a band size, this is the bra that doesn't strain my shoulders AT ALL. Maybe it's because of the thick, ugly straps that are soooo comfy I can wear it all day. It's even not a bad shape, it's just not as uplifted and round like the cleo shape I prefer. Anyway, a nice long-day-in the office bra if your not looking for that in-your-face look. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> And it's the nicest nude color I have ever seen <3
Oh mama, this one is so pretty, hot pink with light blue flowers. It makes great shape and gives support. I'm waring it only one day and I've got only one con - it pokes in the armpits, the uderwire is tiny bit too wide. But I love it! Edit: the band it's too big for me, I really have to switch to band 30 in Freyahttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Very summery looking bra with pretty pink ribbon at the top of cups. The band is nice and smug but cups are too big in size 32h. In 32gg cups are ok but band seems looser.
My Lucy in 32h fits perfectly but her sister Clarissa is too small in cups and the top of the cups is cutting into breasts. The band it's nice and smug and I love the fabric. The design isn't the prettiest but it's not so badhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I think size 32hh would be perfect.
It's a nursing bra, has no underwires. It was quite hard to do the measurmentshttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Band streched quite quickly but bra is used and washed ( in a washing mashine) all the time. It gives breasts nice support from all sides and it's easy to use when feeding the baby. It's ok to wear at home and at nighthttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Recently discovered that 30" band size existed. I thought 32" was the smallest band size made. I now find I am a 30H, 30HH sometimes a 30I/J (depending on the brand & style). I own mostly 32s.
The band is a little too large for me. The 30" band gives me much better support.
The cup seems to run bigger than some of the other Freya bras.
It is pretty comfortable. It stretched out in 2 months worn 2x a week - but my boobs are stretch everything out. I usally get 3 months with this kind of wear.
This bra feels very comfortable and supportive on, and unfortunately the quad-boob effect affects only my other breast, which is slightly larger than the other. But since the Leona's cups are quite pointy and the embroidery on top of the cup seems to make the material stiffer on top of the cup, the problem is visible - slightly, but still. I can't fill the cup from the bottom either, which I think is the pointy cup form's fault. Sad, for the bra looks very pretty and light.
A good everyday bra, gives good support and feels comfortable, the material is very soft. Stretches out a bit with wear and the band size a bit on the large side - take into consideration when buying one. The cup placing is also a bit wide, which may cause problems if you have narrow shoulders and boobs.
