This bra is not mine but a friend's who let me measure it. I did try it on and the band fit well being I wear 38/40 band myself. But the cups at FF were way too big for my D cup boobs. This bra also has molded foam cups which I do not care for. This bra seemed well constructed and of good quality.
This bra is CUTE! It's supportive and gives a nice shape. The band has already started to stretch so it looks like I might be buying s Rixie clip as I own a few Freyas.
Lovely bra, this one fits well band wise however the cups are slightly too large for me. I'm still working on finding my size and this was the first one I bought. I'm going to try it in a 36FF/F and see. It's a lovely bra!
This is my second Freya deco. I love it. the molding is a perfect shape and the subtle padding is just thick enough to cover my nipping out tendencies. It has good support and provides nice cleavage. With both of my bras, and from very heavy wear, the underwire ends up poking through. The only problem I have is with Bra #2 within a month after buying the bra the inner stitching along the first inch or so of the underwire had come undone.
I have 3 styles of Freya Plunge bras that fit very well, but this is the first Freya balconette style I've tried. It is a fairly plain style as Freyas go, but a great silky fabric. I like the additional coverage - I'd say it's a 3/4 cup, & it actually gives a better (rounder) shape than the plunge styles.
The drawback is that the underwire has a slightly sharper curve than the plunges, which have quite broad wires, so the cup has a more narrow fit. As my girls are fairly wide, this means that toward the end of the day this style is not as comfy as the Iona or Mischa are, & I take it off a few hours sooner. It is still a broader & more comfy fit than any of my Fantasie bras however.
Finally! A bra from Freya that is soft & silky instead of the usual mesh. I love the fit of the cups on this one too. I find it more comfortable than my Arabella. And the red rose embroidery along the top is unique. The only (very small) quibble I have is that the straps are super wideset (& I have broad shoulders); they occasionally cut under my arm, so narrow shouldered girls may find that an issue.
Note: still really like this bra, but after 6 months I'm on the tightest hook. The band has stretched a LOT. Next time, I'll go with a 36G.
