Gore didn't tack, wires too wide and tall, not enough room in bottom of cup

I suffer from a chronic illness that means I can't always put on or comfortably wear my underwired bras. I bought the 40J - Goddess ยป Clara Soft Cup (6633) as an "easy mode" bra for days when I want support but can't handle a more challenging garment.
This bra is well made, with sturdy fabrics and plenty of reinforcement. I find it to be very comfortable overall, though a 38 band would probably suit better since it's already on the tightest hook. This bra also cuts in a bit at the underarm - something I find happens in basically all brands I've tried. The gore ... does not tack - standard for a soft-cup model.
Appearance-wise, this is a very pretty bra for what it is. Since it's wireless, there's a lot of bra and the shape tends to be lower and pointier than a modern underwire style. However, the fabric is a very pretty printed matte satin, and the color is an appealing chocolate brown. I wouldn't choose this model for wear under a low-cut shirt or for anytime I wanted to show off my underwear, but it's attractive enough and gives an acceptable shape under clothes.

Removing the side bones makes it a lot more comfortable.

Very well constructed bra. Comfortable, I just didn't fill the top half of the cup.

Although the band size was correct for me, it felt like the band was "falling down", probably because the underarm wire was too high, and the overall cup size was too large for me. 36M (US)/J (UK) was recommended for my measurements, but I think the cup of this is too big in this bra style. Also, gore is VERY high on this bra.

I have usually worn underwire bras, but I went in for a fitting and was urged to try this one. I am very glad that I did! I have never had a bra fit me this comfortably all around. I can wear it all day and it dose not move. I believe that the side boning is what is helping the most, I am big and consequently have side rolls that are hard to control and it seems that the boning really keeps this anchored for me and you don't even notice it is there. I am happy that it comes in colors other than the usual white, ... black and beige. I bought it in red and just love it! My only gripe is the sectioned cups, they show under most of my shirts so I need a tank under them. I have no idea if anyone else sees the seams, but I do and it drives me crazy. It is giving me a little more projection than my underwires but the support is fantastic so I won't complain. Bottom line, supportive and comfortable and you don't feel like you need to take it off when you get home.

It's not a perfect fit. The cups are bit too wide so there is some empty space at the bottom; however, there's NO quadboob or underarm poking so that makes it a keeper! It is full coverage and supportive. While it's not sexy; it is cute, and comfortable enough for everyday wear.

This bra fits me perfectly--after sizing trial and error, of course. I have really low hanging breasts that are nearly deflated on top. I've lost weight and breastfed, so I have a lot of empty tissue. This bra lifts me up and the 4 piece support helps shift the tissue up and fill out the cup perfectly. There's no gap at all at the sternum, no side boob, no cup gaps or bulging (which I have a big problem with...) and the straps are comfortable. I love the band-it feels more supportive and nothing sneaks out underneath. It does stretch out a bit, and it doesn't last as long as I'd like. But honestly, after wearing the wrong bra for YEARS, I don't really care. It's a wonderful day to day bra!

This didn't work. Wires came to back of armpit. Did not tack. The wires rubbed together at Gore. Could see that in some positions the Gore could poke out making it visible beneath shirt. Sides so high that I got Orange in glass at bottom. Filled cups OK. Rode up back.

Though this doesn't fit me anymore after losing 10-15 lbs (I'm now a UK 30H), I'm reviewing it as it was when I bought it several years ago. It was my first properly-fitting bra purchase.
Band: Wide and comfortable and closes with 3 hooks. It did stretch out a bit, because I was wearing it almost daily, but this is a good-quality, supportive bra.
Cups: The cups have a 5-part design that keeps the same shape over the day - natural-looking, not pointy but not extremely round either. The seams are a bit visible under clothing, though. I could never fill the cup completely on my smaller side, so there ... was a bit of wrinkling, but it being a full-cup design with centrally-placed straps kept everything in place. Kind of broad and east-west, but at that point I didn't care and just wanted something comfortable.
Straps: I have small shoulders, and the straps were very comfortable and thick and stayed in place. I wish all bras had straps like this, sexy or not sexy. I'm not a huge fan of all the balconettes with the widely set straps.
Underwires: Reeeeeally wide underwires that practically wrap around to the back. I would say my breast roots are moderate to wide, but these were way too wide for me, I just didn't realize it. They were still comfortable, though.
Design: Not the sexiest bra, though the top cup section being sheer is cute. I like the little unobtrusive bows at the gore and the base of the straps, and the satiny magenta colour I have is beautiful. It doesn't look great under formal wear or anything super tight, but it does the job as an everyday bay.
Overall: It probably says something that this bra is now two sizes too large and I still on occasion wear it out in public, even though I probably shouldn't. It's so dependable and comfortable and makes me feel secure.

This was my first DD+ bra. Cups fit very well and gore tacks perfectly. I do get some wrinkling at the bottom of the cups and as my boobs settle in over the day the top of the cup by the strap also loosens and wrinkles. I thought the band was perfect when I got it but now I realize that it is much too loose for my liking.

This fit me when I got it. Well, mostly.
I just tried it on (about 6 months later) and I am laughing my fool head off.
I really need to take pics and list it.

This is probably the best overall fit that I have found so far, but I get an in-cup quad boob from the seam between the top of the satiny material and the mesh. It's not drastic, but it will drive me crazy if I keep it as it does show under shirts, particularly in profile. I have a similar model (Adelaid) in 36L and I get the same rise under the mesh section so I don't think it's a size issue, just an incompatibility with my shape I guess.

Cups are way too small despite being the largest available in my band size. No breast separation, gore sits on top of my breasts. Wires are too wide, making my breast spread out into my armpits.
Now the good, I really love how much give the straps have, making it a very comfortable bra. Its the only bra I forget to take off after getting home from a long day. Needless to say, while the quality is OK, the mesh panel shredded within a couple months, deregulating this bra to lounge around/housecleaning status.

Super comfortable for everyday wear. Not too stylish though, and only comes in I think 4 colors (black, nude, blue and pink from what I saw on Amazon). I got the pink one since it was on sale. The underwire is comfortable and doesn't dig in or poke at your under arms. The straps are very thick, making it unsuitable to wear with anything sleeveless. Works great under tshirts though and are very comfortable since they're lightly padded (not noticable through clothes though). I plan on getting another one in nude when I can afford it (or wait and hope it goes on sale)

Comfortable, very supportive, no nonsense bra. Too big for me since I lost weight, otherwise it would have been a keeper. Only worn for about 2 months, hand washed, non smoker

This bra did not fit me (wrong size) but is well constructed. Feels like it would wear well. No underwires. Material feels like it is tough enough to support breasts but not too thick to be hot in summer. Straps have a lot of room for adjustment.
I did not like the shape it gave me - sort of a cone-shape that had been pinched flatter from top to bottom of breasts. Not sure if it would give same shape if it was the correct size for me. Probably would.
I have tried Goddess bras in five different styles, all in size ... 34L (US). This 34 band is MUCH tighter than any of the others - more like a tight 32 band. So, I'd suggest ordering 1 (maybe even 2) band size bigger. Not sure if you'd need to go down a cup size for a sister size or not since the cups didn't fit me and I'm still trying to figure out what size I need. (My ribcage measurement is 33".)
There are 4 hooks which I found difficult to hook. If the band wasn't so tight, it might have been easier to hook them. (Plus I'm use to hooking 3 hooks.)
I liked the bra quality enough that if it was available in larger cup sizes, I would have tried it in 36 and 38 bands and bigger cups to see if the fit, shape and ease of hooking it improved.

Cute bra, nice colour, fits decently, but the wires are too wide and I'm glad to take it off at the end of the day. Mr. BF doesn't dig the animal print, but I think the blue makes it okay.

I normally wear a 28-30 E-F and have been trying to find a strapless bra (using a bustier for extra security). Almost all the others run small in the band and cup, but not this one. This is definitely designed for the extra big ladies in mind and runs almost larger than expected in everything, so it didn't fit me at all.. The fabric is scratchy and uncomfortable, and it has the MOST uncomfortable ribbing and gore of any bra I've ever tried. The cup width stretches easily an additional 2cm when te bra is tight. Doesn't look that nice either and is so full-cup high that it would probably peak above most of the tops I would be needing a strapless bra for anyways. Definitely a pass. Maybe I'll just try a larger Felina Essentials longline...
