I want to love this bra so badly -- it's SO CUTE with its ruffles and bows -- but the cup just fits me weirdly. I think the bulk of the cup's size is in its width -- I have a little spillage in the cleavage area, and it kind of looks like my breasts are being flattened. I'm not sure, because I don't have a lot of bra experience yet, but I think this might better suit someone with shallower breasts with more breast tissue under the arms. My breast tissue is mostly centered near the gore, and I'm slightly fuller on top. I'd say if you are full on bottom, shallow, with more root focus near the armpits, this is the bra for you. Sadface; I wish it worked for me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I measure 27-33/34 and this bra fits wonderfully. The band runs very tight. I find 30DD cups just a tad small for me in Gossard bras but the 30Es I have tried were way too big, so I just stick to 30DD.

This bra is just what I've been looking for. It is UNLINED! It has very thin straps that can be criss-crossed and are hardly noticeable when wearing camisoles. The cups have push-up padding at the bottom and it does make this bra a bit more quad-booby than my other Gossards but it's a push-up plunge and that is not a problem at all if I am wearing a low-cut top.

This bra is very comfortable and sexy. I definitely recommend it (and other Gossards) for 28 and lower bands looking for plunge bras. I think if you are a real 30-band it may be uncomfortably tight but I can't know for sure.

This bra tries a little *too* hard to boost your ego with the amount of padding they put in it. I'm just about falling out of the cups - scratch that, I'm very decidedly falling out. I'd go up a cup size from what you'd normally wear in this bra at least.

It would have been great if the push up part were removeable, I think. The band is nice and firm, with five (five!) hooks in an almost long-line sort of fashion. I like that quite a bit. It's also a smooth and classy looking material. I can't complain about its plunginess, either, which is entirely satisfactory.

Absolute stunner of a bra. Fiery red and fuchsia works really well together. The half-sheer retro look is very appealing and the strappy back band as well.

I also love the shape, it is reminiscent of a retro shape but without excessive pointiness. It's the sort of shape that's called a "good pointy". Gentle side support ensures that it doesn't get too east/west that tends to be the risk for me with a full cup shape - none of that here.

The band is nice and firm but not excessively so, just how I like it. Surprisingly doesn't cut in much even in the strappy part.

The straps are unbelievably comfy. ... The width works really well with the look and the inner side is soft and velvety. The same material is used as part of the band in the very back and to cover the boning that strengthens the transition area from regular band to strappy.

Generous and comfy three hook fastenings.

Unfortunately I have just a little bit too much top fullness for this cut. It fits my smaller side almost perfectly but cuts in on my larger side. If the top section was stretchy it probably would be a perfect fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> It has a tiny bit of stretch along the top edge but that's not enough, it's more of a tease for me.

Would be perfect for a fuller 32G that's fuller on bottom or an average to smaller 32G that's even to fuller on bottom.

The bra is so fun and pretty I'm having a hard time considering selling it.

I bought this after reading reviews that Gossard came up very snug in the band and I might be able to get away with a 30 while really needing a 28 band. After a few wears I'm on the tightest set of hooks so it won't be working as a 28 band for me. The straps are also only partially adjustable which is an issue for me and I currently have them as tight as they cane go. Despite this, the bra is still pretty comfortable the bra just won't be lasting me very long.

I enjoyed this bra, though the cups were way too wide for me. I gave it to my sister, who filled the cups completely but needed an extender for the band to fit. I feel like this bra was shaped funny for my taste, almost torpedo. I really liked it, just wasn't for me.

  8. Egoboost Strapless Bra (6288)

The 30F Gossard Egoboost Strapless was useless under the clothes I needed a strapless for because the cups come up so high, especially near the center gore. I tried this in 30F, 30FF, and 30G. They all seemed to fit fine, which shows how much coverage the cups provide and therefore just how many potential fit issues they conceal. I can't tell you how well these fit because of the massive wall of rigid concealment.

This bra convinced me I don't ever want a push-up bra. I was willing to put up with the push-up padding to get a versatile strapless, but since this didn't work, I didn't have to put up with the padding.

I will say the gore was very low and comfortable for my close-set breasts on my petite frame. The color of this beige was decent. It's always convenient to have a seamless, totally smooth cup.

  9. Felicity Plunge Bra (8971)

    Fits

I decided to try this bra and another Gossard style based on my positive experience with the Retrolution Staylo, my first ever perfectly fitting bra. Before receiving the Felicity, I was under the impression that it was a moulded cup style (based on the image shown on the Brastop website). On receiving it I realised that it is actually cut very similarly to the Superboost Plunge styles, with a 3-part fibrefill cup construction. The closed-in shape created by the upper panel of the cup was not something I anticipated would work for me, which was disappointing since I live in New Zealand and returning the bra was not ... an option! When I first tried it on my fears seemed to be confirmed - the edge of the cups cut in slightly (though not as badly as anticipated) and my breasts weren't quite filling out the ends of the cups. Fortunately my stubbornness compelled me to try and make it work, and I found that with several adjustments, the fit was near perfect. My initial problems with the Felicity were almost entirely down to inadequate swooping-and-scooping. As soon as I put the bra on properly (leaning over and letting my breasts fall into the cups) most of the fit issues were resolved. I also found that moving the straps inwards slightly on my shoulders helped to open out the upper inner part of the cup.

Now that I'm wearing it correctly, I find that there's still up to half a centimetre of empty space at the end of each cup (it varies day to day), but the stiffness of the fibrefill material means that this doesn't show. The edges of the cups no longer cut in noticeably. The band is perfectly supportive on the loosest hook. My breast tissue is well-contained, and although I get a tiny bit of armpit-boob, I think that's more to do with my shape than the bra itself. The bottom of the cup has a reasonable amount of immediate projection, which is good for me since I am only moderately shallow, a bit pointy, and very slightly bottom-heavy.

The shape given by the bra seemed very strange to me at first, but I'm beginning to like it. It's very much a lift-and-separate bra, unlike the pushed-upwards-and-inwards shape I tend to favour. In this bra the upper inner surface of my boobs becomes a long, straight slope rather than a curved hill shape, if that makes sense. The overall shape is quite pointed, almost retro, and coaxes my breasts into a much more projected shape than I can achieve in most moulded cups. I quite like this look under blouses and retro dresses. As is standard with Gossard, the detail of the bra itself is also totally gorgeous - the colours are unique but well-matched and very flattering on my pale skin, and the crystal button embellishments add awesomeness without being excessive.

For anyone over a D cup, it's important to note that this bra doesn't fit me nearly as well without the removable inserts (which I believe only come with sub-DD cups). I don't have a lot of outer fullness to my breasts and I find that even though they're quite small, the inserts help to tip the bra cups forward enough to open out the top edges slightly. For this reason I would advise caution to shallow ladies who fall outside of the removable-padding size range. I suspect this style would be best suited to people with teardrop-shaped breasts, and best avoided by anyone with very shallow or very full-on-top breasts.

  10. Egoboost Strapless Bra (6288)

I was so desperate for a strapless bra I tried the Gossard Egoboost Strapless Bra (6288) in three sizes. This one is 30FF in beige. This one and the 30F and 30G all seemed to fit okay, which shows how rigid the cups are. The cups came up so high in all of them, especially in the part near the center gore, that I couldn't wear them under any of the dresses or tops I needed a strapless for.

I also decided that I cannot stand push-up bras. They're uncomfortable. The cups covered so much of my chest that the cleavage push-ups are known for was hidden under the cups.

The band is tight, though. That tightness, combined with the five rows of hooks and eyes, made the Gossard Egoboost Strapless Bras exhausting to put on.

I think this bra runs about a size small in both band and cups. I would say it fits like unpadded 28D. There is only one hook per column, which I don't mind but other people might. The bra is very comfortable.

Wow! This bra is silky smooth and very comfortable. The wires don't dig in to my sternum or my ribs, plus they sit in a really comfortable place on my chest overall. The design does show through a shirt, so I will have to figure out what clothes I can wear his bra with.
After wearing the bra for a whole day: IT FITS! It's very comfortable and doesn't hurt my after a whole day of wear.

In this size there are no additional inside slings. Just a layer of shiny but pretty soft and stretchy nylon. This fits me OK, but not perfectly. If the sides were higher it would be better and the advice was to go down a cup size but now the wires dig into the sides. I don't think this style can't be fit to a shallow wide breast type, the cups are very full. The band has a lot of stretch and may not be supportive enough. The straps were adjusted all the way out and still seemed tight...I am tall. As much as I thought this was "just what i wanted", I had to send it back after trying it on.

Very small band sizing. Nice range of colours and material feels lovely at first but rougher with age. In larger sizes (DD+) extra support is pretty visible. Completely transparent across entire cup.

I get this bra in black, and it's pink ribbon at the center-gore adds feminine to the bra. It's pretty and comfortable when wear on as an everyday bra.

The cup lace itself is stretchable, so it can fit up to an small/even 30E cup breast. The band only measures 21", stretchable up to 27" and it feels snug enough on my 24" ribcage. So though it's a band 30 bra, it's good for a 26/sub-28 band.

My only complain is that the straps are only partially adjustable, and it's too long for my short torso and high-set breast. Anyway I can always do some sewing on it to fix this problem.

  18. Retrolution Half Padded Bra (8511)

This bra has great lift! It runs a whole cup size small, but once adjusted for that, is about average, I think. I had read elsewhere that the band was especially firm, and I see that it measured a bit small, but it certainly didn't feel tighter than normal. The gated back was very comfortable.

As the t-shirt pic shows, the seam between the padded and unpadded portions of the bra is VERY thick. It will show through all but the thickest fabrics. This looked great under a sweater.

The other detailing on the bra has a nice luxe feel. The hardware is rose gold and the whole thing is kind of retro glam.

Besides the seaming, the other negative for me, was that the apex was a bit too far out. Again it looked nice under a sweater, but too east/west with anything thinner. Because I rarely wear thick clothing, I will reluctantly be sending this one back.

The cups are a bit pointy. More like the usual cup-form in the 50's. I think this looks very cute. I wanted to have something different from the usual shapes so i can switch. But now its too small. I didnt get many opportunities to wear it, but if possible i'd buy it in my new size any time again
