This is a bra hack that I read about on Reddit that may or may not work for you. The discussion came up: what can you do about *hiding the seams* of your seamed bra under thin shirts. One redditor recommended (sorry, I don't remember her name to give her the actual credit) wearing these Hanes bralettes, inexpensive (I'm in Canada so the prices show up differently, but it's my understanding these are 2 for $10 on this website https://www.onehanesplace.com/hanes-get-cozy-pullover-comfortflex-fit-wirefree-bra.html) Otherwise you can buy these guys on amazon, available in like 15 different colours.
Tbh, I first tried this with a more colourful bra, BM Chili ...(Ewa Michalak) https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dngre/, and I wore it with a shirt that I actually wouldn't combine with this bra/shirt combination IRL (but it is the thinnest shirt that I own so I wanted to see if it would work). While the Hanes bralette did block out the black and red colour, I could still see some of the stretch lace texture through the shirt. But this is literally the thinnest shirt that I own, so...(also, it's an athletic shirt, and I would honestly never wear this combination).
The second try is with a 100% cotton thin summer shirt. For this second attempt I wore BM Suzy, this bra https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dng9l/, and the Hanes bralette. It worked!!
In the pictures, you can see the seams showing through with just the bra, and when I put the Hanes bralette over the seamed bra, the seams no longer show through : ) YMMV, but I think this is a hack that would either *work in a pinch* if you only have clean colourful bras to wear to a professional event, or if you are adamant about never showing seams. Note: the extra layer DOES trap some heat b/c these bralettes are spandex/nylon.
A note on sizing: in case you were wondering, I determined my size in this bralette by reading through the amazon comments. One woman said she was 30G and wore size small, so that is what I ordered.
Honestly, b/c this is a bit like a compression sports bra, it does add a bit of cleavage/lift, too, if that's the look that you're going for. Read more 266 more words
This is great. Never thought about wearing it over a bra. These are my favorite sleep bras or all time. Will give this over bra thing a try. Thanks. :)
Happy2BraShop , it does trap a bit of heat, so I prefer to go without this extra layer (even though I'm in Canada, lol), but I read about one woman who *always* wears these with her seamed bras - that's commitment! lol.
I personally don't mind if seams show slightly, but it depends on the shirt, too. : ) Thanks for your response.
Okay, I purchased this through amazon and it arrived yesterday. I guess this was more of what I was looking for as far a lounge bra- because I don't need as much structure as the Sugar Candy Crush bra, if I'm just lounging in my house. This was only $13.99 cad, so I will order other colours because this actually fits. So, this is just something to cover the girls and to try to make my Polish bras last longer (like, I don't want to wear them alllll day...I want to give the elastic some rest). With summer coming, I could just wear *this* as a top, and ...walk around my apartment with the windows up when it gets hot.
So, when this package arrived and I took it out, it looked waaaayyy too small - I thought "no way am I going to fit into this." Looks are deceiving because it actually fits! 88% Nylon, 12% Spandex. It is soooo stretchy. It reminds me of a ballet leotard, so maybe - for sentimental reasons - that is why I like this bralette. At the $13.99 price point (the label says $8.99 usd) I have no idea how long it will last and keep its structure. It could only last one summer. The Sugar Candy Crush bra was definitely way tougher and build way more to last, at the $65 price point of course - there was way more detail and sewing on that bra.
I normally never wear solid black bras, because solid black isn't a good colour on me, but I was thinking that maybe solid black lasts longer? I never thought about this before my ABTF journey, however, all of my black undies seems like they last so much longer than other colours - b/c of the dying process, it just makes it sturdier? IDK.
So, also, if you look at the sizing chart (and if one reads how to size herself on the amazon link), I shouldn't fit into this bra, but I do. Lol. I was reading through the comments on amazon, and someone wrote, "I'm a 30G and I wear a size small," so that was how I chose my size and it seemed to work out. I think I will stick with this size, b/c the small size gives some support.
So, I wouldn't wear this bra to work, however, after I got this bra yesterday, I went on a walk, and it seemed okay. It's not professional enough to wear to work obviously, but I think I'm okay running errands with it, unless I deceive myself. So, that would be the difference btwn this bralette, and the Sugar Candy Crush, I know people who want to wear the Crush bralette under scrubs who work 12-13 hour shifts. Read more 358 more words
These are comfy but I don't think it's a good idea to wear these all day because *I tried* to do this last Saturday: it pushes one's breast tissue to the side, ala compression sports bra. (edit: maybe every once in a while is okay ; ) It's okay to wear these as a lounge bra in spring, fall, or winter (In Canada), in the summertime, these are too hot b/c they retain heat. It's better to switch to a 100% cotton lounge bra, IMO.
I prefer to wear an underwired bra during the day for appearance, support and comfort, and wear these lounge bras in the evening, so I don't sweat through my normal bras. I think they're about $9 usd on amazon, although someone posted this website (for USA only?) where they are 2 for $10. https://www.onehanesplace.com/hanes-get-cozy-pullover-comfortflex-fit-wirefree-bra.html
As far as sizing, the size chart appears wrong - I'm not even on their size chart. I determined my size from reading through amazon comments.
Good underneath T-shirts. It is very comfortable, but it could fit better (a little too loose - especially the band; I use the tightest setting for the hooks).
Definitely a one-size-fits-most kind of bra. I lucked out because it fits me extremely well. I did have to loosen the straps most of the way, though (I'm 5'4" or 163 cm). I find it very cute.
VERY comfortable due to no underwire and being very stretchy. Wouldn't recommend if you need a lot of support, though.
You can easily add extra padding if you want by just shoving it in the cup through the hole next to it. Since it's stretchy you wouldn't have to try very hard.
Seems to be in pretty good shape after I've had it for a year and a half now and have been wearing it fairly often. And I honestly don't take very good care of it - I don't put it in a net bag or anything when I wash it.
Overall a great deal for the price if it fits you.
I wear it on the middle or tightest hook. The first hook isn't loose or anything though. I have been wearing this bra for a long time so it might've stretched out. But it's always fit me well, I still wear it up to this day with no problems. It's very soft and comfortable. I used to sleep with bras on and this was always my favorite to do so with. From having it for so long and washing it regularly (washer then hung to dry), the pink on it has spread a bit onto the white. It is only in small spots and is unnoticeable. The only ...thing that has ever annoyed me was that the pattern was noticeable under light shirts, it is a bright pattern so it makes sense. I'd just find myself wishing it was completely white as I never really cared for the pattern anyways. Overall, it's never given me any problems and is the oldest bra I own- it still does what it needs to do well. Also, it came with a second dark blue bra. I have no idea where it went, but I don't care as the color never looked the best on me. Read more 94 more words

So ... if you are 32G or more, do not get the Large and think it'll be anything more than a nipple hat. The end. (Seriously, see the photos, it's not even worth reviewing.)
This was a shipment error, but for science I'll review it anyway.
Hanes placed scratchy mesh INSIDE the cup along the outer cup seam. Whoever designed this bra has not worn it. It is distinctly uncomfortable despite the super soft, stretch nylon band. This scratchy mesh panel floats freely on one side; allowing user to insert additional padding.
The band is too stretchy to provide support. On my 28" underbust, the band floats. There is not enough spandex in this stretchy nylon blend for a supportive band.
Straps are partially adjustable: they will accommodate high and average set breasts. Low set and/or tall users may be disappointed with these straps.
The cup volume accommodates significantly less volume than Medium Bali 3488. G260 Medium is more similar to Bali 3488 Small. Additionally, G260 is better designed for shorter, less center-full roots than Bali 3488. It quads significantly if you are both center-full and close-set. Tall roots just run https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
I can't recommend this model to anyone until they remove the scratchy mesh.
I am a male with Gyneomastia and wide separated small breasts. These bras come in several colors and are my daily wear. Hanes has a lot of colors for this bra but look at the pictures, some colors have front strap adjusters other colors have the strap adjusters on the back. My choices are front adjusters to keep from showing through my shirts. The straps or bra outline do not show through loose fitting polo shirts or heavy weight t-shirts.
This is the most heavily padded bra I've ever seen. I could not try it on because the cups are too small. This is not my bra I just borrowed it to add to the data base. The cups have white lace covering the thick padding. The center gore is the same lace as the cups. It doesn't seem that it would be very supportive because the band is very thin and has 2 hooks to fasten it.
This bra is comfortable, inexpensive, and supportive. The cups are stretchy yet supportive enough to hold up my double Fs! Unfortunately this bra doesn't get any points for sexiness but functionally, it does a great job.
[EDIT as of Dec 2016] This is possibly the WORST bra I have. Absolutely no support and it just sits on my body, its really uncomfortable. Since I found bras that fit me WAY better, I now hate this bra so SO much.

So far this has been my best fitting bra (2016) I originally got one a while back (3-5 years ago? can't remember) that was the same brand/model that fit really well. I say this with the caution that I haven't ever been a "bra person", meaning I hadn't tried even casually to look for the elusive OK fit until just recently. Concerning the bra, it seems ...the quality has gone down drastically since I bought my original 3-5 years(?) ago. The bra was worn out within the month and on the underside of the gore, fabric started tearing. The sides are tight near my underarms, making a bulge near my underarms/pectoralis. The gore pops out and the underwire below the cups that sits on my ribcage feels uncomfortable, but not necessarily terribly painful. I have to adjust the straps way too loose for the cups to actually rest where they should be on my ribcage and boobs. The one thing I do like is that the underwire doesn't jab you. Near the wings (armpit area), where the underwire should end, they've extended the actual bra/fabric beyond the end of the underwire about an inch. So while that are is still comfortable and supported, its not jabbed by underwire. Near the gore though, the underwire is still there, although it hasn't caused me any problems, since the gore floats on me. They've added petals in the bra to conceal nips, although I don't nip as much as I used to so its not a big deal for me anymore (which is what sold it to me in highschool), it might be useful for more nippy boobs. In my opinion, though, there's enough padding without it. Read more 218 more words
The band is small enough (XS) not to move on my body, therefore this gives some support. It does squish me, a bit, but I've never come across a wirefree bra that doesn't. This is extremely comfortable, and it looks just fine under loose clothing. It's inexpensive, so I can make my good-fitting, expensive bras last longer by wearing this as an everyday bra. I would not wear this if I were dressing up, in any way.
First off: this is a girls' bra. I got it in the girls' section of Target. This was not a good choice, and that was my own fault. However, I got it, and it didn't fit, and I thought I'd share this piece of information that probably should've been obvious to me even before I started looking into how to fit bras more. My breasts fall out the bottom and the sides, it's too tight in the band, the straps are too narrow to be of any use to me, and it's a general nuisance. It's a pretty color, though.
Though the band is pretty stretchy this is still a decent bra. The inside of the band is very smooth and the straps have thicker parts near the cups. I like the lacy design.
This is great. Never thought about wearing it over a bra. These are my favorite sleep bras or all time. Will give this over bra thing a try. Thanks. :)
