I was hoping this bra would fit like the Chic which is my ultimate perfect fit bra. The fit is not bad it just has so much fluffy, loose lace. I think they were going for a frilly dolly lace underwear thing, but I'm used to looking down and expecting to see everything laying down on a bra. Here's an example of what I mean, the gore lays flat, but because there are layers of loose lace sewn over the gore it looks like it's floating. Lift the lace and everything is flat. Again the lace over the cups is a little wrinkly, if I pull it tight against the cup there is no problem. It also offers more coverage, the cups go further back and higher up. I don't have much going up top and my boobs don't go that far back. Too much coverage for me. And since the cups are wider the straps go back further slightly cutting into my armpits. Not unbearable, but not great either.
Very well constructed. Excellent support while nursing. A-frame style cup. My sizing is not well fit in this bra since it is a full cup and I have a shallow/wide shape. The band is perfect, the cup size is perfect but the straps slide often (I am petite) and I have the wrinkly top portion from not filling it out completely. Light years better than what I was wearing so I am keeping it for when I am a "new" nursing mom again and my cups fill out.
I love Hotmilk's bras, but I wasn't crazy about this one. Not sure if the fit was different because this was not a nursing bra, rather a wireless bra for the 'everywoman'. Wrinkles at the top again, nothing new there. The fit just didn't seem right. Maybe a better bra for a full on the top kinda girl, or someone more even. Something about the strap placement would make my boobs pop out if I squished my arms together for any reason. Not sure why. Definitely avoid if you are shallow as the lace at the top is closed off. The other thing is Hotmilk's nursing bras have 6 hooks in the back for when a nursing woman's ribcage expands and contracts. This bra only had 3 hooks. Since I am a 30 band size this means that I had to start wearing this bra on the last hook. Never a good scenario. Think I will stick with their nursing bras.
HOTmilk bras are so amazingly comfortable. You know you have a really good quality bra when you're not getting pinched and poked by random mystery spots and you can quite figure out why. This is such a beautiful color, it is fully lined in cotton (rare in any bra, even nursing). Unfortunately it is full cup, so I don't fill the top in too well. The top is also pretty tight, so if you are shallow, I would not recommend. The wide cups work for me, but probably not for everyone. I also really wish these bras came in a 30 band. If you agree please email hotmilk and request that they carry band sizes in 30.

I like this bra even though the band is a little too loose for me now. The foam padding is about 3/16" thick but is very soft and pliable. The straps are too far apart in front, which causes digging in under the arms in front; despite its looks, this bra is not comfortable. The underarms come up a little high but that is probably due to the size being a little wrong (I measure a 28DD/30D, and ordered the 32B in this bra because I was just desperate for a nursing bra). Fitting note: The cups on this bra run *noticeably* large, so it might be a good idea to size down. This 32B fits like a C/D.
