Oooh, this bra is so pretty! In a fit of excessive optimism, I thought I could fit into a 28E -- maybe with cookies tucked in underneath the girls -- but no. The cups are huge -- probably two sizes too big, top and sides both. The band was snug and not as stretchy as ideal, but I could have lived with that. The straps were also on the short side -- I could make them just long enough, but someone with lower-set boobs might struggle with this. But I love the look of this bra! I'm planning for a special occasion next month; I'll try again in a smaller cup size, and hopefully that will work.
The Masquerade Persia is the closest thing I’ve found to my ideal bra. For me, this is the bra that is so perfect for my shape, and therefore so comfortable, that I can forget I’m wearing a bra. And it’s gorgeous too! Like most other Masquerade bras of the same size, the Persia has average-to-narrow wires. It has a decent amount of projection, and unlike some projected bras, the projection is not just at the apex, but all over. It allows enough room for my center fullness, but isn’t lacking in space on the outside or bottom either (I have even and center fullness, but I’m really kind of full-all-over). The band was initially extremely tight for a 28 band, but it has stretched, and that is the only thing that worries me a little, since I actually need a 26 band. But overall it’s amazing, I love it, and I’m thinking of buying another one.
This bra... is not for me. My super squishy boobs sink to the bottom of the cup. I think this bra is slightly too wide for my frame because the straps are too far apart, the cups seem slightly too wide.. but also too projected, I think. What I know is that I love the look of this bra, but MAN does it suck on me and I can't quite put my finger on why.
This bra has a super tight band and is probably leaning towards a in between a 28DD and 28E cup-wise. The cups fit me well except for a tiny bit of empty space towards the center of the cup. That really isn't a big deal and anyone else won't have that, I just don't have any center fullness. It's actually pretty good for that - it is close to working for me. The other problem is that the gore is slightly too high for how wide it is. I'm talking .2 of an inch too wide/tall. It pushes in on my tissue and makes it kind of a deal breaker.
This bra is stunning, high quality and has nice luxurious touches like the little tassle at the front, the satin, sapphire material, pretty lace which also goes up the front of the straps. I go between 28E and 28F and decided to goes for the E. It seems to fit perfectly.
I'm just slightly concerned about a bit of creasing on the bottom, it's not much but should I be concerned or does it look like it fits? It's feels fine, no quad boob and isn't too tight or loose. Don't know what I'm going to wear over the top of it as it's lacy. Although the lace isn't that prominent so I I think it will be too lumpy.
The nude material is a strange touch though. I think it's pointless, I mean why would you be concerned about a bit of boob or nipple showing? I'm considering taking it out. Has anyone tried to do that?
Size of the bra is OK and it´s really beautiful, so elegant and decent - I love how it looks. But I have a problem with half cup bras - it presses painfully against sternum, the wires are too high. I don´t keep the bra.
This is a very beautiful bra. I love the embroidery and the very thick straps that are super pretty and comfortable.
However, this bra does not really seem to suit my shape very well. On all the photos I've seen, it looks quite pushed up and round with lots of projection.. on me it's a terribly pointy bra. I'm not sure how that happened, perhaps the smaller sizes aren't cut as round? or mine was defective? I'm not sure.
The band is very firm, I think it would suit someone very well who needs a sub 28 band and it fits me very well ...with my ribcage (24-25 inches).
People tend to compare this to the Rhea, which I really like in terms of cup shape on that one because its quite rounded. I prefer the gore on this bra since its lower. The Rhea fits me well in 28F, but this one gaps a teeny bit on my smaller boob in the 28E. It seems to be much more open I think.
Overall this is a very nice bra, too bad it doesn't flatter me!! Read more 86 more words
Band: runs tight, but weirdly comfortable. I have a 28" ribcage and i could only stretch this to 27". It feels like it may start to ache with wear. Straps: a little wide set but the softness of the fabric on the front half means it doesn't rub at all. Cups: require more projection than I have, I think. They sort of poke out in the front along the mid seam, and my breasts don't fill that space in. They are very pretty, but the shape kind of ruins it for me. The wires are perfect and this bra gives me a very front forward shape, pushing my breasts inward and forward like no other bras I own.
The embroidery, obviously, would show under thin shirts, so this is definitely not a t-shirt bra.
This is a LOVELY bra. Unfortunately, the 28E was far too big a cup for me. It seems I ought to try 28D, not even 28DD, which is a surprise since I find Masquerade to run on the small side for me.
If I can manage to track down a 28D, 28DD, or 30D, I'll be very happy.
The band is quite tight. However, I'm planning to wear it with an extender to extend the life of the bra. There is just the slightest quad boob with the right cup, but that's usual for me since my right breast is half a cup to a cup bigger than the left. It's comfortable, pretty, and shapely. The lace might present a challenge in terms of what to wear with the bra, but otherwise it's a bra that makes you feel sexy.
The straps are annoyingly wide, so they dig into my underarms a bit. The gore comes up very high, and was quite uncomfortable, so I scooted the wires all the way to the outside, and now it's tolerable, though still a bit pokey. I think the cups are a little too shallow for my boobs. I'm wondering whether going down a size might help a little, because the tops of the cups are also gapping, strangely more so on my larger breast. It is a very pretty bra, though.
I have slightly projected breasts and I seem to fill this bra out perfectly. The only complaint I have is that I can't adjust the straps short enough (they are only half adjustable) and as a result they fall off my shoulders throughout the day. I am planning on shortening them myself by about 4cm. I also have narrow roots and found the wires of this bra to be the closest fitting of all my bras (probably 1cm too wide). I was once told that the Rhea was similar to the Masquerade Delphi (6411) but IT IS NOT. I have the Delphi in 30DD and it is far more projected than my Rhea, to the point where I cannot fill it out.
I've been looking for something that plays nicely with my FoT boobs but with enough lower projection. So, something sort of like the Marcie and like the Entice. This is the combination I've been wanting.
The wires are nice and high, the gore tall but it doesn't feel like it comes up higher than it does on my Marcie (it's just the lower band). It's substantially less shallow than the Entice which means it doesn't get pushed down over the course of the day.
The band is firm and made of very nice fabric. I have it in the Bravissimo "Antique Ice" colorway which is a very nice contrast to "Antique" and the black one. It also feels mature, I can dig it.
The gore doesn't tack at the bottom, but otherwise, it's probably one of the most comfortable bras I've tried on. Gore aside, the fit is absolutely perfect.
Beautiful bra, but the cups were just too small/shallow for me. Seems like in the right size it would give a gorgeous shape: projected, lifted and centered. The band is TTS.
Most of the bras I see listed as running tight don't really seem bad for me--I have a 27" rib cage and prefer very snug bands. That said, wow does this run tight. The satin band does NOT stretch much and I need to wear it with a band extender if I want to be able to inhale.
The straps are partially adjustable, and are just barely short enough for me. The satin front part of the straps are not padded (maybe just in larger sizes?), so at least in this size it would be really easy to re-sew them to make them shorter if you needed to.
The bra is beautiful. Husband agrees. The black satin and ivory embroidery is just lovely.
As others have said this bra has a FIRM band! My underbust measurement is 27.5", and a 28 band in this model just barely fits me. I've only had it a few days, so I'm not sure if the band will stretch out over time.
The cups are comfortable and lined with a soft jersey material, like a t-shirt. The satiny straps and center cutout are very pretty. One thing I don't like is that the lace on the tops of the cup is cut in a "fringe" sort of look (see closeup photo). It curls up and doesn't lay flat, and I think it looks odd. I'm planning to cut it off.
This bra is better for my extremely bottom heavy breasts than most molded cups I've tried. There's still a very slight gap at the top of the cup if I don't stand up straight, but it's MUCH better than, for example, the Curvy Kate Tempt Me.
The band is nice and tight without being too loose as are most of my bras. I do wear this bra on the second hooks sometimes though, so it's definitely not too tight.
The band material is fantastic. The band isn't the usual top/bottom elastic that digs in and creates backfat. The band of this bra feels less stretchy than most bras, so that could be part of the awesome non back fat aspect of it. Or, it could be because the band fabric feels fairly durable so skin doesn't mold through the fabric and around the elastic creating backfat. I always wear this bra when I am wearing some outfit that shows bra lines easily.
The cups are moulded; they nicely support and contain my "soft" breasts while giving me awesome shape.
I love this bra and recently ordered a second off ebay. If I come across another reasonably priced correct size on ebay I will definitely grab it.
