Apparently this bra is often sold as part of a bridal set, and I can't say I'm surprised! Despite the poor fit I had in this size, it is truly lovely. The entire bra, including the band and straps, is covered in soft stretch satin, making it the softest and most elegant bra I own. The bow over the center gore is a gauzy white, making for a nice romantic touch.
The shape from the side is very round and uplifted. Since it's a plunge, it takes a little adjusting before my boobs sit properly in the cups. Of course, this may also be ...due to the fact that the cups themselves are a little small on me, but this bra sadly stops at a G cup, so sizing up is not an option.
Appearance aside, this bra absolutely did not fit. Once I received my shipping info email from Breakout Bras telling me which bras I could expect, I looked the Tiffany up and discovered that the band runs large. Again, THE BAND RUNS AN ENTIRE SIZE LARGE. Since my underbust currently measures 32-33 inches and is still shrinking, a 34 that fits like a 36 won't work in the slightest. Even on the tightest hooks, I can feel that it is too loose and see the back riding up before my eyes. To make matters worse, the elastic is extremely stretchy, so not only is the band large, it is not firm enough either. The final problem with the fit is that the bottom elastic on the band turns up. This may not be related to the too-large band, but instead be the result of the difference in stretch between the inner lining of mesh and the outer layer of stretch satin.
In spite of all these fit problems, this is probably one of the most comfortable bras I've ever tried on. It's crazy comfy! I only wish I could exchange it for a smaller size. I'm currently planning on altering the band to fit, because otherwise this is pretty much my dream bra!
EDIT: Sadly, this bra is just not going to work out. I will be listing it for sale in the near future. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 280 more words
Meh. I ordered this bra on a whim from eBay because it was $10, it was my size, and I needed some cheap bras to convert to nursing bras.
The satin feels really nice, and the materials/workmanship seem great, but the shape is totally wrong for me. The edges of the cups want to curl out and form a lip. I am too center full for this bra; not in the sense that I'm falling out in the middle, but looking down it's clear that this was made for someone with a bust of a different shape, the cups are almost east-west. It's workable, but I have a lot of other really great bras, so this one will probably just get stuffed to the back of a drawer and die of old age.
This bra is totally gorgeous and the construction feels amazing. Unfortunately just a little too small in the cups for me (especially when I swoop n scoop) but just enough to still get away with wearing it. It gives a dramatic orb shape though so probably best not to wear this at work!
A friend with similar boobs would be: wide-set, average projection, mostly even but a little full on bottom.
I measure as a 34FF/32G. I was a little skeptical about buying a 34G, as well as about the depth (it measures about 10.8" which I thought was a lot). However, this bra fits me really well!
The shape is more like a demi or half-cup. There is an average amount of projection (I feel). The wires do not poke, and they don't come too far back. They're the perfect length. While the bra itself is designed to be open, there is a little bit of cleavage, but there is still ...a smooth line from breast to bra, and there's no quadboob after I scoop+swoop. My breasts are comfortably enclosed on each side.
I was warned that the straps were wider than most bras. This is actually good for my frame. Being taller and having more broad shoulders, I find that the straps are perfectly distanced. They don't dig in like some of my other bras that have narrower straps (this is not to say that the other bras are unsupportive. I just have a little fat pad on my shoulders I guess).
The band is small for a 34, which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing. It feels supportive and sturdy. It's not going anywhere. It'll have a longer wearable lifetime.
I love that it only has 2 hooks. Can't stand 3-hooked bras when they're so hard for me to undo.
The design is BOOTIFUHL. I love bras that have lots of colors and designs. The lace is a nice touch, although it sticks out a little bit. It can be hard to smooth down. That's a minor thing.
Definitely one of my favorites. I absolutely love it.
Gorgeous colour and lace detailing. Gives a fantastic rounded shape and cleavage, and the inside of the cups is so soft. The band is on the firmer side of a 34, but I think it just runs true to size. I bought this when I was trying to figure out my size and I am now a 32HH/J, so this 34G is completely wrong for me. Even in the right size, it would be too wide and shallow.
This bra is gorgeous. I just wish it fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I knew I was taking a risk but had hoped that I could get away with it being a G. I am usually a GG sometimes H but I loved this bra I was willing to give it a try.
Its very well made and an excellent quality bra but I just barely fit. It does give me a bit of quadboob as I am very FOT. Its not overly noticeable and its not a dealbreaker as I think I will get an extender and loosen the straps a bit and readjust to see if I can get a better fit.
It doesnt poke me(though I have only tried it on once) but wearability is not there because the band is too tight at this point to wear it for hours.
I am keeping an open mind in hopes that with some adjustment I can make it work as it's not too out of the fit realm. I'll update as I adjust things.
I love the look of this bra so much I bought it twice and am looking for #3 even though it's probably pointless. I started with a 34FF when I had just begun my bravolution and was still trying to come to terms with the idea of letters above D. The band was tighter than I was used to and the cups were clearly too small, but it had real potential. When I saw this one on eBay, I thought it was worth a shot. It still has great potential, but it only goes up to a GG and I don't know if that would ...be enough in a wide-set plunge like this one. Oh, but I'd try! If it was close, I'd try taking the gore in at the bottom to turn the cups up a little at the center where I most fall out. Here's why:
The colors, patterns, fabrics, etc. are lovely. Subtle but not boring, classy & sexy; pretty on and off. Very comfortable & supportive even with only 2 hooks. Quality seems flawless. Materials & construction are perfection. Surprisingly practical - the 3-part cup seams are super flat and the lining prevents nipple show through. The straps are much thinner than most of the G-cup options out there. The gore and cups are are very low so it's less likely to show under a low neckline. Read more 129 more words
This bra is definitely very shallow. It could work wonders for someone who needs wide and shallow. I think it could have worked for me if it wasn't so tall. My boobs actually did fill out the bottom of the cup, but then there is all this extra fabric on top which turns it into a clown bra for me.
I definitely recommend it as a bra for shallow gals to try.
I also think I will try in some smaller sizes and see if the wire width is big enough in any smaller sizes.
Also it has a very short underwire for it's length.
I love this bra, and I wanted it to fit so badly. The cups are too big, even after swooping and scooping they gape at the top. It is super comfortable though. The fabric is silky and soft.
I love love love this bra! It is my absolute favourite out of all that I have owned and worn so far. The shape is wonderfully high and round and super supportive. The colours (I own two, the pink and the purple) are deep and rich while the lace overlay adds nice contrast without being super obvious under clothes. The material on the inside of the cups is soft and feels nice on the skin, Ive found it comfortable enough to wear all day however I have noticed it can get a little pokey at the end of a 12 hour day.
I love how this bra is attractive and offers a very uplifted, rounded silhouette, 'eyecatching' is a good way to discribe it, however it might not be the best bra to wear to the office.
Lightly-padded 2-part half-cup style bra in a 2-tone speckled mint (pale aqua) background print with an allover graphic/floral/botanical design mostly in saturated blues, pinks, yellows, and leafy greens. Approximately 1" wide mint lace edging on tops of cups in a diagonal mesh with wheeled circles on the very edge. Mint bow with deep pink rose in center. Straps are partially adjustable in the back only. The fronts of straps are padded and have the same print fabric as the cups. The width on the padded portion of the straps is about 0.5" at the cup attachment and widens to about 0.8" at the shoulder.
Have worn it once. It ...doesn't really fit. I am sad. It is gorgeous and I want to keep it so bad, but I won't. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
CUP DEPTH: Seems okay, but does push up my boob at an angle because the apex is too high for me. Actual depth is slightly too small for my boobs. CUP WIDTH: At rest is to narrow for me. Can sc/swoop to fill. CUP HEIGHT: Too tall for me, of course. I fill the cup, but the lace on top flies in any breeze. Would fit a rounder shape much better. WIRES: Seem fine and sturdy. GORE: Low enough I love it. Doesn't dig in on me at all. WINGS: Fine for me. STRAPS: Too wideset for me. They do this weird rolling thing because they're trying to stay on my shoulders. I kind of love the padded portions of the straps, but because they're being pulled in weird directions due to my narrower frame/shoulder width, they are not working for me in this size. BAND: Sturdy. Slightly too tight for me. Does not seem as stretchy as most. AESTHETICS: Absolutely gorgeous. It's an unusual color and print. I so wish I could keep this.
OVERALL: Love love LOVE. Cannot keep it. Does not work with my shape and frame. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update: I've lost much weight since I first got this bra, so the pictures are from somewhere in the middle. Initially, the bra fit much better and was only really flappy on top where the lace is. Now it's just silly big.
Very obviously too wide and shallow for me now. Before, the cup depth was not enough, but my boobs squashed sideways and up enough to "fill" out the fabric parts of the cups. The fit is even looser on me since the pictures.
I really do want this in my actual size, but I think the shape will not fit me. I currently have another Masquerade half-cup (cakes to me) that almost fits in a 34F, but I want in a 32FF. Maybe I can try this one in that size, too. Read more 345 more words
No longer fits. Love the high quality of the bra as I own several Rhea bras and love that they dont stretch out at all, most of them i've been wearing on the loosest hook all along or for some moved to second row. This bra got one pulled out 'eye' as in pictures and light antipersperant marks (dark) on inside of strap as in picture.
Adorable bra. Fits a little low but good front projection. Has a bit of a minimizing effect, which I love. Worth it for how cute it is. I love that it isn't in my armpits like a lot of bras are. Any fit issues are probably because it's a 34g instead of a 32gg. Band has lost its shape fairly quickly but I'll just sew it in so I can keep wearing it. Overall a super comfortable bra that I use a lot.
This bra is adorable, but unfortunately it is too small. The cups dig in and the band has too little stretch in it to be comfortable, the center gore also pokes me, but I think that's just another sign of poor fit.
I love it! It is definitely not a full coverage. Yay! I can wear it with most of my shirts. The center gore is short enough that it works pretty well for close set boobies. Feels very comfortable - a bit tight initially, but not bad. Definitely getting 80% of support from the band.
Fit was nearly perfect before alterations, is perfect now.
The top oddly gapped so I just pulled the ribbons tighter. Cups now are flat and no wrinkling.
Straps didn't seem well attached. If I pinned them in, fixed.
So, I trimmed the top lace off. Then, pulled the straps down so they attached to more of the cups.
Then, as I am not a good seamstress, I just sewed the trimmed lack to the straps to hide my strap adjustment. Then because I can, added some chocolate ribbon and flowers. The lace already made it not a t shirt bra.
Now I love it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I'm not really sure about this bra. The center gore is pretty pokey in my sternum. Sometimes the top of the cups wrinkle, sometimes they don't. It almost seems like the cups come up higher on me than they should. I'm going to try ordering a size down and maybe that would work better. The bra itself is absolutely gorgeous. It's well made and the detailing is beautiful.
