I don't actually own this bra, but I tried it on three years ago when my breasts were much smaller, and it didn't fit then so it definitely won't fit now! But you know that great feature called "Recommendations?" THIS KEEPS COMING UP. WHY?!?! No way would a large, stretchy 30 band fit me! No way would cups that small fit me now! Ugh. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Basically I added this so it will hopefully fix my recommendations. We'll see...
it also works if you have full on top, tall rooted, close-set breasts, becaus there are no wires sitting on breast tissue in the middle, the top doesn't cut in, and the shallow cups just act like a push-up bra without the padding. they're shorter and more flexible than Deco too, so more forgiving of projection.
This is a light push-up plunge bra with a wide, shallow underwire that doesn't provide a lot of support or depth but will work fine for anyone with shallow breasts who don't need a lot of structure. The band stretches far too much to feel secure. Even though it can stay in place without excessive motion, I can fit my whole hand in and still pull clear of my back at the tightest hook. The look is an understated sexy and the cup fits me well enough to keep it, although a 30D would definitely be a better choice, possibly even a 30DD.
This is the first bra I ever found that fit me -- not just kind of fit, but really fit as if it were made for me. After three years of frequent use, the band is stretched a little, but going in a hook takes care of the problem. In this older model, the cafe color is a paler, pinker beige than the 2014 model, and you may be able to see in the pictures (when I get them posted) that the lace has faded slightly after heavy use and possible contact with clearasil. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":-S" />
I have small, shallow, wide-set, full-on-bottom boobs, in case that helps you decide whether this bra is a good fit for you. I love how this bra brings the girls slightly forward and gives me a nice round silhouette. My only complaint is that the lace texture can show slightly through t-shirts. If that were solved, this bra would be absolutely perfect.
This is my fourth "Feathers" bra, and I'm happy to say that the fit and comfort on this year's model are still excellent. The turquoise color is pretty, but so bright that it shows through light-colored shirts, so it's not as useful as my older beige versions. In the winter that won't be as much of an issue, and I'm glad to have another everyday bra that makes me look good and is comfy enough to forget about.
(I have shallow, wide-set, full-on-bottom boobs, in case that helps you decide whether this bra would suit you.)
This was my second purchase of this model bra. Although the fit remains as excellent as always, the color is now a little darker brown and the lace doesn't match the rest of the bra quite as well as last year's model. (The feather detail in the lace now faces the other direction, oddly.) I liked the old way better, but this is good enough. The fit's the thing, and this is still super comfortable on me. After two years of frequent use, it still looks nearly new and feels great.
This was one of my first comfortable underwire bras, and after three years of frequent wear it's still going strong: still beautiful, still super comfortable, no snags or loose threads, foam still in top form. If anything, I may have gained a little in size, and so the cup is just a hair smaller than ideal, but the lace overlay makes it a forgiving bra for small changes in fit. (That's important for me, as over a normal month I am larger and smaller from week to week.) Here's hoping for many more good years!
I can see why everyone raves about this bra. This is, like most of my bras, the wrong size; but, to be fair, I actually talked my sister into buying this on sale ($19!!!) and then stole it from her. (I'll give it back. Someday. Maybe.) This is the first time I think I've ever had a gore sit TOO low, but it may also be a size issue. Also not a fan of the way the material feels, but I'm weird about textures.
The straps are super skinny. It seems like it's designed to hold in much larger boobs than mine, but sized for mine -- it's just more coverage and containment than I need, particularly with the high sides. It's odd, though, because the straps and hook section are so skinny, which contradicts the apparently containment.
I think it's confused about what kind of bra it wants to be. It doesn't work for me. It's going back.
Despite the stunning color on this bra, I just couldn't get over the fact that the cups cover up so much of my chest. It just looks like a grandma bra to me. I generally go with demi, plunge or balconette cups in order to accommodate my shallow breasts, but the Hidden Glamour was recommended for shallow shapes so I tried it. I really, really don't like the full coverage style cup. It looks like I'm being attacked by my bra!
I have to admit that it was incredibly comfortable and it fit very well. I didn't like the band, though. It felt very thin and stretchy, like it would breakdown very quickly. I just didn't like the way this one looked, so it stayed in the dressing room. Such a pity, as I absolutely loved the color.
Since Natori Feathers is one of the ones consistently recommended for those with shallow breasts, I thought I'd give this bra a try. The bra itself is very pretty with it's detailing along the straps and band. It fit well and felt comfortable, but I felt a little unsupported by the fabric of the cup. The shape that this really soft cup gave me was a little saggy looking and not very flattering under clothing. The band felt extra stretchy where the mesh was and a little uncomfortably firm at the top and bottom of the edge binding on the band. Not unwearable, just annoying. Not a winner for me.
Love it! Perfect for shallow breasts that are spread widely. Contours to top of breast beautifully. People with very sensitive skin may dislike the mesh/lace feeling but I find it OK most of the time. Wash delicately/by hand--it frays easily.
I had this in teal and decided I also needed it in nude. It fits the same, with a tight yet comfortably stretchy band that I would happily recommend for true 28s, and soft, flexible, lined cups that conform to my boobs without gapping or cutting in. I'd say it's ideal for shallow or full on top shapes as well as close set boobs that don't play nice with high wires at the centre gore.
The colour is ever so slightly darker than my skin tone but it still blends under white tops. The mesh/lace trim is beautiful and also invisible under clothes. This is a bra I could easily forget I'm wearing.
Wonderful!! Great for shallow breasts/breasts that are fuller at the bottom/tend to be small at the top and leave gaps in cups. I have sensitive skin and sometimes dislike the lace, esp if sweating, but the lace at the top of the cups stretches and molds over your unique bust shape.
I'm so excited to finally have a proper sports bra! This one is extremely comfortable. It overall feels snug which I like. It feels secure and keeps everything where it should be while I'm running without compressing me flat. I don't like compression sports bras very much since I still have plenty of weight to lose and it makes me look like I have even more to lose in my stomach but this bra is perfect! I've already recommended it to a few people.
The look in this bra is pretty. I don't think it gives enough support. I did recently have a reduction and maybe I am still looking for a lot more support
