Very small cups for a 30DDD/F, more like a 30DD. I love the lace overlay and how lightly padded it was, but the band wasn't tight enough and the cups were too small. Straps are also thin and painful. Bra doesn't control bounce at all almost as bad as not wearing a bra at all.
Purchased for $64 from Zappos (1 day shipping for clothes!!) don't think it's worth the money though
Comfy wide straps. Only adjust 1/2 way, but that's fine for me. Band is snug & comparable to my other 34's. Cups and wires are wide & encompass all my breast tissue nicely. Nothing poking or scratching.
Oh, Feathers. You are an absolutely beautiful bra, so why are you only available in 30DD in Red Jasper from Nordstrom? Surely you want to be worn in whatever color I wish to wear you in?
I bought the Feathers bra in 32D in black, because I really wanted a black t-shirt-esque bra with lace edging. I, unfortunately, didn't try on the 32D before buying, just the 30DD. I figured it would be fine.
After wearing it for a full day, the edge of the bra under my armpit and the strap was cutting into my shoulder...and I know the band doesn't fit right. I don't want to admit it, but I know it. The 30DD was a dream, but the 32 band just isn't right for me.
It's with a heavy heart that I'm planning on returning it. Maybe someday, I will be able to get it in black in a 30DD.
so pretty and simple at the same time. seamless under clothes even with the lace. gave me distinct, separate cleavage and uplift. first time i haven't had noticeable bounce when i walk!
I really like this bra. It fully hides the headlights and hold my breasts front and center. The cups fit very well, and there is only a little "pressure line" on my larger breast, but hardly noticeable compared to other bras (no quad boob). The underwire digs a little into my sternum, but I just bent them out a little. Excellent support, no show t-shirt bra with pretty lace accents on the sides of the cups. The straps are also partially convertible. Only issues is that the straps only adjust part-way, so if they stretch at all, I will have to alter one side, but I don't expect that to happen anytime soon.
One of my favorite bras. It is very comfortable to wear all day, despite the band being a little too loose. The lace panel is cute too, I like to wear it with a slightly lower cut top so it peeks out a little.
the bra itself seems nice. it's made of a light mesh, and has a clear plastic strip instead of a fabric gore so it can be worn under very low cut things. this makes the cup placement farther apart than usual, which made my boobs look really weird.
another issue was the cup shape. somehow, i quad-boobed right out of the top while failing to fill up the bottom. it made me look extremely droopy, which i thought was impossible given the size and shape of my breasts. maybe this bra would fit better on someone with bottom-heavy boobs.
edit: this is probably the orange-in-a-cup effect, and the cups were just too small for me! still not sure about the cup distance and the droopiness, though.
I bought this bra when I was a 34F and was looking for a good tshirt bra. The center gore on this bra never laid flat on me and my breasts were spilling out the top of the cups some.
I don't have any other bras that fit me this perfectly in the cup. It's like a hug. Unfortunately it's still very new and I have to wear it on the tightest clasp and that's still too loose. I wish they had it in a 28 band size. The lace is a little bit itchy every now and then.
I got this bra on the clearance rack at Marshalls for $5 so for what I paid it's a serviceable bra. The cups fit okay except for a teeny bit of cutting in on my larger boob, but then I am not very firm at the top so that tends to happen. It's not noticeable under clothes. The main problem with the bra is that the band and straps are definitely too large. While it fits comfortably, I am on the smallest hook and the straps and cups sit too far apart for my narrow frame. If it came in a 30E it would probably be perfect.
Normally I find lace itchy but the sheer lining alleviates this. This looks very pretty and sexy on.
I'm the kind of person who wears a camisole under just about everything but that creates a little extra bulk sometimes so when I saw this bra/cami combination, I jumped on the first one I found in my size (which wasn't until a few months later). I love that the straps are fully adjustable. The mock-cami is only connected to the cup lining at the under wire, so it creates a realistic flat plane over my cleavage.
Cons: The band is very stretchy. Not so stretchy that it rides up but stretchy enough that, even on the first wear, I had to start with the second hook.
Only 2 rows of hooks. My personal preference is 3 because I like a wide band.
The cups are a little wide so, while I am fully encapsulated and the shape is nice, there is a bit more boob touching my arms than I like.
When I first bought this bra, it was the most comfortable thing I'd ever owned. It was the first bra I think I had EVER bought where the underwire actually fit properly along the lower circumference of my breasts and then laid flat against my sternum - proper support! The only thing that went wrong is it stretched out fast. Three months later, I'm wearing it at it's tightest setting. Granted, this is likely my fault for not handwashing it and instead just throwing it into a cold wash setting with other laundry (but in a garment bag!) and then just hanging to dry.
Despite being washed improperly, it is still VERY pretty and VERY flattering. I'd definitely recommend it so long as you take care of it!
This bra gives a really nice shape under a t-shirt. The straps are wider in the front, and get skinner as it goes up so that the widest part isn't on your shoulder, but more in the front of your shoulder which is kind of weird. Very comfortable - as soon as I put it on I knew I was going to buy it.
This bra is very comfortable, but the cups are juuuust too small for me. I think Natori cup sizes run small generally, and that usually puts me between their DD and DDD. The mesh back isn't as smooth as the backs on some of their other bras.
Super comfortable T-shirt bra! The material is soft & stretchy and dries quickly. The straps are not wide but they don't seem to dig ig. Love the navy blue color (rare in my size!). Downsides are that there is a band across the top of the cup that does create a line (for me). I don't know if that would have been remedied by a larger cup size and a band size down? I ordered online so I didn't have the chance to try out other sizes. Also, the bra has the definite effect of flattening and widening the breasts. argh. Not much in the way of uplift. :/
Update 7/04/11: After wearing this cup a full day it is obvious that the quad-boob effect will make this bra sadly unwearable for me.
