The Natori Flora Unlined Bra is a bra style I picked up randomly at Nordstrom Rack randomly on sale. While I don't usually gravitate towards seamless stretch cups, I tried this on and was surprised by how comfortable this style is. The cups are so lightweight that you'd forget you're wearing a bra if it weren't for the underwire.
However, the lightweight cups come at a price. This is the most lightweight of all Natori bras that I've come across, and show-through will definitely be a concern here if you're in a cold environment or have prominent nipples. Natori always uses very comfortable, lightweight stretch ...lace, but the flaw is that these materials cannot provide any shaping or support. Furthermore, Natori plunge bras always run shallow in the cup, so these cups just ended up flattening me out. When I scoop completely into the cups, it is apparent they are too small as there's quite a bit of overflow, but this ends up disappearing after a little movement because the standard Natori band is too flimsy to hold everything in place.
It seems like an odd combination to put firm wires into such a lightweight, unsupportive bra. This could be a great comfort bra, but the fabric and band provide so little support that the underwires seem like a misguided choice. Read more 118 more words
The band fit great. I don't think I could tolerate smaller. The C cup was a little small, partly because it doesn't cover much area. The cup spacing was great, the broad underwire base curve was great. Minor quad boob, might reduce after settling. Would like to see higher wire under the arms, to gather in more tissue.
This is a good-looking bra. I like the colorway: black lace, floral cups. My wide set breasts like the cup width. They pop out of the middle somewhat, making me think I should also try on a 30D when I get the chance, but it's a good look on me, and stays in place throughout the day.
I got this from Nordstrom after getting fitted for the first time. However, I still don't think it's the right size. I've been pouring over the ABTF subreddit the past two days, so please bear with me as I continue to learn about the correct terminology.
When I first put it on, the fit feels ok. However, swooping and scooping immediately caused quadding. The 30" band is too big, as I'm able to pull about 2" on the loosest hooks. The center gore tilts slightly away from the sternum on the bottom. The underwire curve too deep under the arms, where I don't have any more tissue. This causes some slight wrinkling on the side of the cups. I think if the cups are slightly closer together, then I wouldn't have quadding and the underwire should encapsulate the whole tissue?
it also works if you have full on top, tall rooted, close-set breasts, becaus there are no wires sitting on breast tissue in the middle, the top doesn't cut in, and the shallow cups just act like a push-up bra without the padding. they're shorter and more flexible than Deco too, so more forgiving of projection.
The straps are super skinny. It seems like it's designed to hold in much larger boobs than mine, but sized for mine -- it's just more coverage and containment than I need, particularly with the high sides. It's odd, though, because the straps and hook section are so skinny, which contradicts the apparently containment.
I think it's confused about what kind of bra it wants to be. It doesn't work for me. It's going back.
I had this in teal and decided I also needed it in nude. It fits the same, with a tight yet comfortably stretchy band that I would happily recommend for true 28s, and soft, flexible, lined cups that conform to my boobs without gapping or cutting in. I'd say it's ideal for shallow or full on top shapes as well as close set boobs that don't play nice with high wires at the centre gore.
The colour is ever so slightly darker than my skin tone but it still blends under white tops. The mesh/lace trim is beautiful and also invisible under clothes. This is a bra I could easily forget I'm wearing.
Soooo, this bra is amazing. Very flattering and comfortable. I think I may try it in a different size though. I tried it on at Bloomingdale's a while ago in a 32B and the fit was great except for the fact that I was already on the tightest hook, so I ordered it from Natori in 30C. As expected, the band is tighter and the cups are slightly narrower/closer, but not to the point where it doesn't work. I kind of liked the slightly wider spacing (and less back fact haha) of the 32B, but also I think the cups were a little ...deeper. Or maybe the width just made up for it. The 30C fits perfectly on my smaller (right) breast, but I just realized that it's actually slightly too small on my left side. I mean it looks fine and is definitely a great bra for uneven, small, shallow breasts, but I noticed that there is a bit of a gap between the bottom inside of my left breast and the bra and there isn't on the smaller side. When I tighten the strap to make it flush with the bra, I quadboob. I think I'm going to try it in a 30D and a 32B and see if either of those are a bit better. That said it's not a noticeable issue if you're not me, and wow is it comfortable and pretty. The price is higher than I'd usually pay for a bra, but completely worth it. Only downside for me is that it doesn't work with the spaghetti strap tanks I wear, generally under sweaters/sweatshirts but still, on an almost daily basis. But this bra is so awesome that it's making me wanna update the rest of my wardrobe to accommodate it haha. Read more 204 more words
I got this bra used and it felt soft, worn and very comfortable! The band was pretty stretchy and the cup cut into my breast tissue, but it's a great shape for shallow breasts and true to size. I would LOVE this in a 30D or 30DD! Maybe it'll go on sale at Nordy's soon!
Hey animated , was just looking at this page since I'm thinking about ordering one myself and saw your comment about hoping it'll go on sale. I see that your review was from 6 months ago so I'm not sure if you're still interested, but if so, thought I'd let you know that it's available on Amazon for $36.60 + free shipping in both 30D and 30DD. Not the deal of a lifetime but still better than the usual $50!
You are so sweet! Thank you for letting me know about this! I might end up going for that, after I check my bank account! Lol
