It's the only comfortable bra I own which actually fits. The band is a little loose, but I hardly care. My only complaint is that the lace on the straps is visible with certain low cut tank tops, and it likewise can't be worn with spaghetti strap tops. If it came "lace free" it would be perfect.
The band on this beige bra seems larger than the band on my pink one - but since I bought both used, perhaps the beige one just had more wear from the previous owner. Otherwise the fit is the same.
I got beige hoping for it to be a good t-shirt bra. The color is great for me. The lace shows through on my lightest t-shirts, but I'll probably wear it anyway.
I want to love this bra, it's obviously very pretty, and at first it's really comfortable. People rave about this bra. But it's simply not for me. I have really soft tissue, and no matter what size I wear in this bra (I tried 30d, 30dd, and 30ddd--30ddd worked the "best" and this bra definitely runs small), my breast tissue migrates to the center, quadboobs, and to me is very unattractive. It's not a matter of size, it's just how the bra is designed. I think people wish soft tissue like me can't really do the whole contour/plunge thing without double sided tape. ... At least, that's what it seems like to me; I just need more coverage on the inner part of the cups to actually contain my tissue and *lift*. Maybe for people with firm tissue, or breasts that like staying up and apart, this bra accomplishes that. Also, after a full day of wearing this bra, the underwire at the gore is uncomfortable, and as with all other undewire bras lately, my ribs towards my sides begins to hurt after a bit.
This bra sits in my closet and never gets worn. It's still brand new. Maybe I should actually try some double sided tape. Read more 112 more words
I found this in a TJ Maxx for ten bucks. It is so comfortable and soft. The band seems quite stretchy after measuring but it is not loose feeling at all. The front side of the band has lace and the back side that touches your skin is a slippery-smooth fabric. The straps are fully adjustable and skinny. The gore is tiny. The band is wide, and the cups are basically smooth. Straps do not come off. I need wide-set straps, which this bra doesn't really have but it isn't terrible. Normal people would like the strap distance. No push-up padding. Overall it's a nude bra that has flexible yet supportive cups and a weirdly comfy band. This bra is great for t-shirts or sleeping.
As a true 28DDD/E, this bra is amazing. I've learned that I am slightly narrow, shallow, and FOB. The reviews are right, the Natori bands are incredibly smaller than the listed number. The band definitely felt more like a 28, which is great. This bra will last longer than my sister sized 30DDs. This is probably my favorite bra that fits, and I will be hunting it down in more colors. It is also the sexiest bra I own, and the lace is a great touch.
This is weird because I remember I had added this bra and added photos and measurements and everything but it's gone. Maybe I just did an adventure review and took photos but never added them, but I'm almost positive that I had.
Anyway, read my review for the 32DD in purple.
This band in this size runs 27", not 30". You should go up a band in this because the lace has very little give, and it runs small anyway.
I don't mind the small band, but it makes my cups pucker AND quad, so I usually wear an extender with this unless I'm measuring like 28" that day because of weight fluctuations.
Love the color. It's the darker more vibrant pink.
Edit: Total orange in a class effect. I didn't even realize how bad it was. If my boyfriend didn't like this so much I'd consider selling it, and I'm probably selling my 32DD before he sees it xD Just not a good fit for me. I need narrower wires and closer set cups.
I think this bra is not shallow enough for me. I am usually a 30dd but the orange-in-a-glass effect was pretty bad in that size, with the cups coming in at the top and the outsides creating underarm fat, when there is usually none. I tried on the 30ddd and that was a little better as far as encapsulating all the breast fat, but now there was empty space above the wire.
I was so disappointed in this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />. I read many reviews before purchasing (Amazon and Bratabse), 75%+ recommended going down a band size and up a cup size. Well, I did that, and the band is uncomfortably tight. I feel as though if I were to breath, it would snap. I would imagine with the lace it would stretch over time, but it's just not comfortable enough for me to even wear it to stretch it out. Bratabase recommended a "30DD" for me and I'm glad I got the cup size up because otherwise, none of it would have fit.
For ...reference: I measure a 31.5 tight and a 32 is comfortably tight, so this was uncomfortable.
Even though the band was too small, it is a nicely made bra. Most of the "contour"s I've tried have more of a molded cup. This is a thin lining, so if you're expecting some kind of padding - this is not your bra. This bra will provide a natural "contoured" look. I will be purchasing another Natori Feathers in a 32DD and I think that should be a perfect fit! Read more 86 more words
Perhaps they've changed something? I have two in 30DDD and find the band to be very stretchy! Sorry this didn't work for you. I do appreciate the non-padded cups, though. Just enough to keep things comfortable without leaving me falling out.
Too shallow. Feels very tight...not sure if the bands in this style run small since other 30 bands feel fine. Got a lot of spillage in the left cup. Cute though.
Appeared to fit at first but after wearing it once, it was clear it only fit if I didn't move at all. The band runs small (good for me as a 27), so this bra should be thought of as more a 28. The wires are wide set and cut into breast tissue near the sternum. The slight padding comes up high in this size, and the straps are set pretty wide for my narrow shoulders, so if I slouch at all, the cups gape at the top, and the straps cut in if I move my arms far forward. Decided to return it. The DD was *a lot* smaller, and the lace part pulled strangely.
I decided to give this bra a shot, since I heard it's good for shallow, wide-rooted boobs. I have to agree, it fits pretty well, and it's quite comfortable. I'm always happy to find a nude plunge that fits.
Pros: The cups fit perfectly – no quadboob or gapping at the top. The straps seem slightly more narrowly set than most DD+ bras, which I'm quite happy about.
Cons: Though the band fits, it is a little loose. I wish they made 28" bands. I'm personally not into the whole lace thing. It makes me worry about the lace snagging. Also, the construction of the bra is a little weird to me. Along the top edge, the mesh overlay isn't completely attached to the cups.
This is for the nude colored Natori. I love this bra. It is the most comfortable wire bra that I have ever worn. I agree with all of the good reviews on bratabase about this bra. It is just a tad bigger than the magenta color.
This for the red colored bra. The band is 20.5" brand new. It fits great like the nude colored bra. It's just a tad smaller in the band than the nude colored Natori. It's definitely a favorite of mine. Even though the band is tight like a 28" band, it's so comfortable. There's no gaping in the cups. The cups are a tad wide, but it's not a problem. I don't really have narrow or wide roots. This bra is fine for medium-wide roots. I would rather have the cups be just a tad too wide than too narrow. It's a really pretty red color, I think it is called magenta.
Band is true to size at first, but stretches out very quickly. Bra is very shallow in the bottom of the cup and I get orange in a glass. It's pretty comfy besides the edges of the wires stab me at the gore.
This is a really pretty bra and it works really well for shallow boobs! I wear this bra on my smaller days and it fits pretty well.
My only complaint is that the wires are really wide, and since I had to tighten the band for my smaller ribcage, it digs in uncomfortably in some areas.
I found this for $5 at TJ Maxx, if they had more I would've bought them all! This is an amazing bra, it fits me so well, it's so cute and modest too! The only issue I have *sometimes* Is that the too lace might peak through a tank top or dress but that's bearable! I love this bra!!!
This is a comfortable t-shirt bra. It does not give any oomph or anything. I sometimes feel a little flat in it. It's not a sexy bra, it's a good everyday bra. Every once in awhile it gets a little pokey in the gore area, but that it uncommon. Overall, the fabric and trimmings are soft and feel good against the skin.
I had originally put off buying this bra because the pictures make it look very tall. As a petite woman, I look for cup height as well as all the other measurements. I finally decided I needed purple bras, and the feathers one is beautiful. Upon arrival, this bra is very soft, no boning on the sides, molded cup with mesh overlay. The embroidered edge is a very soft lace, and feels lightweight and very forgiving of body parts. The cup height of the molded cup is 5.25", the highest cup I like to wear. I found that this bra is a smidge too shallow for me and I needed to tack the lace to the molded cup in more than one place to firm up the cup and keep my soft boobs from "puddling". All in all, this bra fits and the minor alterations are not an inconvenience for me. It's going in the "fits" section and I'll be looking for more of these later.
It surprisingly doesn't show under many shirts, and creates a shape that I find to be flattering. I can even wear it with thin shirts just not superr thin, and even then it mostly only shows on one side (the side that my boob is slightly smaller than) so make sure you have a good fit.
As far as I can tell the durability doesn't seem any less than other bras I have, and the lace band seems a lot sturdier and closer to like hmm, an embroidery texture than other laces I've encountered. But I haven't had the bra for very long so I don't know how accurate my thinking is, haha.
Never the less, I think this bra is so gorgeous and it's the bra I feel most beautiful and sexy wearing out of all the bras I own.
If you decide to get it, I hope you like it as much as I like mine and that it all works out well for you (:
