This is a semi soft, so it has a slight padded lower cup.
The cups are SUPER tall!! And the gore is really tall so it just gives me a ton of excess fabric, especially near the gore, it's insane.
The cups are not projected enough for me at all, the construction of this bra is just totally wrong for my shape.
Sadly without an extender I basically can't breathe, and with an extender it's even more unwearable for me.
Otherwise it does feel like a decent bra that might fit the opposite of my shape https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
LOVE LOVE LOVE. This bra is -almost- perfect. It’s beautiful, it’s supportive, it gives my boobs some serious love. The band is TIGHT (80N) I need an extender, no big deal. I also have center/lower cup wrinkling because I need more projection at the wire, ( e tu Nessa?!) but what else is new. The lace is a smidge loose up top but nothing worth writing home about.
For reference: 36J/JJ 34JJ/K panache wearer current best fits from marcie and jasmine. Close set/projected/even fullness leaning FOB after nursing and pregnancy
High coverage bra, full cup. The fabric is very silky and smooth, feels nice against your skin. The lace is stretchy and also feels very nice. It is a type of minimize as it seems to give you a more even shape from the side, good for shirts etc that are high. The only problem for me was that the upper corners near my arm seems to fold. I do not know why, perhaps due to my short roots/ omega shape, I think this is the best bra I've tried. Too bad it seems to be discontinued now in black, there is a new color in white though. I'm going to try the white version in 75I, perhaps it is a tiny bit too big in the cup which causes the fold.
Just wow, I adore the design of this bra! Really wish it was closer in fit to my shape. It gives me the typical shape that I always get with Ewa Michalak, Nessa and Curvy Kate (a sort of d shape haha) It fit perfectly on one breast, but the other had quite some space in the bottom, which I was told would mean I should go a cup size down (but perhaps in retrospect maybe that breast is smaller yet more projected?) I sadly did not think of going down a band size while keeping my cup size (a 75J). I really liked it but didn’t think the shape was that good on me, but then again I’m used to full coverage Primadonna bras...
I purchased this from Zathiya Lingerie's store closing sale. It's a cup size bigger than my usual size, but as I haven't tried any Nessa bras before, and the price was right, I figured it was worth a shot. My shape: soft tissue, full on bottom, narrow roots/shoulders Appearance: This bra is a really lovely shade of purple. It feels really delicate, but when I was wearing it, I didn't feel like it was going to fall apart or anything. The top half of the cup is one layer of purple mesh lace, and the bottom cup has a matching purple lining on the inside. The straps themselves are quite ...wider than I am used to, but are soft and comfortable. At the gore, there is a tiny purple bow. The band has a set of four three-hook clasps. Fit: The band is stretchier than I like; I usually wear mine on the loosest hook, but right away, I had this on the second to tightest clasp. If you are in between band sizes 32 and 34 inches, I think this would work better, as it will stretch with wear. The cups are wider than what I am used to, as well, though I would love to try a Nessa bra in my actual G (HH) cup size. As usual, the strap placement is wider than my narrow shoulders like, though this might be more of an issue on me with this particular bra because of the larger cup size. Overall, I think this is a well-made, beautiful bra, it just wasn't the right size for me. Read more 156 more words
It is a gorgeous bra! Nessa typically runs larger in the cup compared to other Polish brands. Sizing down is not an uncommon requirement with them.
Oh, so beautiful . . so sad .. . wish I could drop 40 lbs and buy it lol
UGH I know! I wish there had been a different size available; the purple is so pretty! Now I'm on a mission to try more Nessa bras! :)
The purple is gorgeous on you! Thanks for your photos and measurements....Science ;-) ;-)
Love4Pollinators Thanks! I'm not a big purple person, so I'm surprised at how much I liked this color. (My sunburn is... pretty apparent in those pictures hahah! Summer is hell for my pale skin.)
Best wishes this summer! People are puzzled by my long sleeves, hat, and pants when the heat index is 105F+ (108F yesterday), but I burn nearly instantly with the little melanin available in my skin.
I'm right there with you both. I have 3 settings: Burn, Blister, then Peel & turn white. No tans only freckles and sunspots. Thus I avoid the sun like I'm a vampire.
They are in the US but I don't think they actually stock them so it's an order & wait 6-8 weeks for delivery.
And Amazon usually has a few (subsellers in the UK, not Amazon direct.) It's usually a 6 to 8 week wait from those as well.
And of course, even if magdalenahukalowicz doesn't have them listed on Bras4you.com, I am confident she can get you Nessa as well. She is our Polish Goddess!
MamaPagan Oh, good to know! I've actually been emailing her back and forth about getting a lime green Kostar bra made! (I couldn't pass one up once I saw yours, hahah!)
One slight difference I notice is that the bra is very pointed at the apex and does not have as much projection at the wire.
The cups are made of a stiffer fabric and have a 4-part construction due to the side panels. I believe I saw someone say on here that the Clarisse with side support is deeper that the non-side support Nessa counterparts. I would agree with that in terms of the depth at the apex, but I’m not so sure about the overall fit being deeper.
I notice wrinkles on this that I don’t notice as much on the Lea. That could be because the Lea is a dark color and this isn’t. The elastic slightly cuts in when I breathe, but I could remove it like I did for the Lea. Overall, it’s a very pretty bra and seems comfortable. I will probably have it in my regular rotation.
Whoever has added this bra style to Bratabase has listed it as if it has underwires. It does NOT have underwires!! This is the information I went on to purchase this bra, because their website didn't say and it didn't really say anywhere else if it had underwire or not, so I could only trust Bratabase, but nope, this sports bra has no wires.
Unfortunately for me I desperately need wires else I get this sad droopy shape as you can see.
The bra feels supportive enough if you're into wireless bras, I guess? There's definitely movement when I bounce/fake run, but not too bad. I just cannot deal with the shape and uniboob of a non wired bra. I think it looks really sad.
Your average Nessa mesh fabric bra except it has this odd seam in the middle of the cup which is really bizarre, it cuts into the boob creating this weird doubleboob line lmao.
The fit is.. ok. without an extender, in the cup. But the band is a bit too tight for me right now without an extender, but with the extender the cups are too big. Without extender I even quad a little bit in my bigger boob, but only towards the gore.
Little bit of wrinkling in the bottom of the cup, very pointy shape, and then that weird seam.. uhh.. yea.. thankfully the bra was basically 5 euro or something so not a big loss.
I like this bra! I was expecting to like it, but I wasn’t sure how it would work out for me since I haven’t tried this size before.
I got this Lea from jagna.pl along with my 65J - Nessa » Simone Soft. I tried Nessa in 70J - Nessa » Miya Soft which was slightly too big in the cups, so I wanted to size down to a 70I. I think it’s a closer fit; however, I wonder if the Nessa bras with the silky fabric like this fit differently than the mesh/lace ones.
The elastic on the tops of the cups slightly ...cut in to my tissue. As I’ve stated in other reviews, elastic on the tops of cups does not work for me every time. I’m starting to think that I’m actually functionally FOT. I was formerly, but I wasn’t sure since losing cup sizes this year.
The Lea bra is a 3 part cup with firmer fabric on the bottom (similar to the fabric used on Elomi bras like Lucy, Kim, and Morgan) and lace with elastic on the top. Honestly, it’s very reminiscent of those bras I just mentioned, but Polish (and with non-stretch lace)! It’s pretty deep and gives a slight peak at the apex. I was hoping for something more rounded, but I don’t mind. The wires are not as narrow as other Polish brands, I’d say they’re average width.
It’s definitely a keeper, and I’m looking forward to trying other 70I Nessa bras! I don’t think 65J is the way to go, they seem like they don’t fit properly, which could be because the wires and straps are slightly different (maybe…that’s not a fact, just an assumption).
My breasts are slightly FOT when supported, center full at the gore, soft, pendulous, and short-rooted with average root width. Read more 202 more words
Is this bra too narrow for you? It looks like it is sitting on tissue in your sides?
I can assure you that it’s not, I’ve lost a lot of weight and I have loose skin on my sides.
Well, I take that back - I guess I should ask what indicates this because I think you’ve mentioned it on another bra or two of mine. When I take the bra off and look at the marks of where it sits and push my breast to see the outline of where I think my root ends, this bra is right where that distinction is. Are you referring to where it looks like my fat pops out above the area where my arm goes? Would that maybe indicate that the sides are too short rather than the wire being too narrow? I’m genuinely asking…I know sometimes things can come across a certain way online but I promise I’m not trying to be hostile. 😅 I’m struggling figuring out what works for me nowadays since I’ve lost weight and the volume/density in my breasts.
bra twinsies, I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't my own review based on the pics lmao, it's like another user said, our images are so similar haha.
you wrote "I wonder if the Nessa bras with the silky fabric like this fit differently than the mesh/lace ones." I agree!! I feel like they fit smaller and a bit more pointy personally, of course the latest one I got was also too small but still, I feel like they do have a different fits!
It certainly looks like a better fit than mine did but still not quite right, but looks wearable at least?
I think this bra looks great on you.
Interesting, I've never tried the silky Nessa bras. Good to know that they fit a little different, I should file that back in my head somewhere, lol.
Hello! I thought that it looks too narrow because it looks like the wire is sitting on your tissue and dragging it forwards a bit. And the cups look a bit more closed off in the center, so to my eyes it had looked like a shape mismatch (I would’ve said you need a tad wider bra). But if you are comfortable and you see it’s on your IMF then that’s that. And I think you are right that you need a higher wing. And thanks for explaining because things can definitely be misinterpreted on the internet lol (heck I would’ve probably misinterpreted it).
My pictures don’t do this bra justice and are super unflattering…might retake them later.
I’ve had the Simone before, but it did not fit well. The band was wayyy too tight and the cups were slightly too small (but gave me a lovely “cakes on a plate” style look).
I got this bra from jagna.pl, and they didn’t have the size I wanted (70I), so I sister-sized to 65J. Surprisingly, the 65J band fits great, it’s not too snug. The cups fit a little oddly, so I’m not sure if it’s from sister-sizing or if it’s just that this size doesn’t fit correctly in general. My ... class="mentioned-item">70J - Nessa » Miya Soft seems to be too large in the cups, but this bra and my 70I - Nessa » Lea Soft (N500) srem to maybe be either too narrow or too small.
The band and straps are very stretchy and comfortable. The bra is made of mesh and lace in a gorgeous blue and ecru color. The lace is not stretch lace. The cups are a 3 part cup and do not have side support. The gore is narrow, but not Ewa Michalak narrow. There is elastic on the top of the cup, which I may consider removing to see if I can get a better fit that way. My boobs + stretch lace = always a disaster. The only other thing I can think to mention that is a negative is that I still have some emptiness in the upper part of the cup on the outer sides, but obviously not in the center. I believe this is something due to either the cup’s height or were my general breast fullness falls.
My breasts are slightly FOT when supported, center full at the gore, soft, pendulous, and short-rooted with average root width. Read more 199 more words
I love the quality and consistency of Nessa’s bras! 🩷
This bra is just as great as all of the other Nessa’s I’ve owned and loved. I had purchased this 75J - Nessa » Juliette Soft because Brastop had it on sale for super cheap, but the band was too big and the cups were also too big. I sized down a band and a cup but it’s still slightly too roomy in the cup, so I think I might need more compression and a shorter cup. I think I’m going to try a 70I next time I order a bra from jagna.pl (because let’s face it, ...I will probably literally put an order in right after I post this haha).
The band on this 70J Miya is almost as stretchy as the band on the 75J Juliette, so it’s super stretchy (either that or the Juliette is snug for a 75). Love the colors on the Miya, it reminds me of a peacock for some reason. This is a very projected bra, so if you’re someone who needs that, check Nessa out. Also, the wires are wider than most Polish bras I’ve tried, so if you’re someone who needs lots of projection AND wider wires, definitely give this brand a try. Read more 106 more words
Yup, I would try 70I. This looks like a close fit though.
Loxus thank you! I have a 70I and a 65J on order. The 65J will probably be too tight in the band, but it’s a style that I’ve owned before and really wanted to buy again, so I’ll deal with an extender lol. Fingers crossed!
"Also, the wires are wider than most Polish bras I’ve tried, so if you’re someone who needs lots of projection AND wider wires, definitely give this brand a try."
Interesting, I never noticed that Nessa has wider wires. Love their bras!
This one's really pretty.
Thank you! Yeah, that’s just a personal observation. I don’t know/think ALL Nessa bras have wider wires than other Polish brands, but so far IME, they do. The wire width on this bra is quite wide, wider than my Ewa Michalak bras and pretty close to the Matilda bra I have (I think…based on memory, not the actual measurements.)
Hey, by the way, you have a few Gorsenia bras, correct? How would you say they compare to Nessa bras and do you know how the sizing works? IIRC, I feel like folks on Reddit said they run a cup size large…so if I wore a Nessa 70I, would I want a 70H Gorsenia?
pretty_promise okay, sorry. I just noticed that you responded to this (sometimes I'm not paying attn to my notifications on the bratabase).
re: Gorsenia.
Everywhere I've read "Gorsenia runs 1-2 cup sizes large" I wear 70I in Gorsenia soft bras. I find 70I is very consistent with Gorsenia.
70J is my correct Nessa size in Nessa soft balconette bras.
I measure abt 32G or 32GG UK, 103 cm bust and 77cm underbust.
Loxus just curious what you think about how this bra looks compared to the 70I Nessa Lea? Earlier when I shared this one you had suggested a 70I, but I’m wondering what your thoughts are now that a comparison can be made. Another user said that the “satin-y” Nessa bras run smaller.
Now that you mention it I think it’s a good size. Looking closer though I think it’s just too narrow because of the bulging above the wire which I believe is breast tissue. If you manually widen the wires I think it’ll fit much better in the cup and encompass the breast tissue in the side. That’s just what I’m observing though.
This is a Polish bra that I got from the online store Jagna.pl I actually got this last Dec. when they were having a sale on Gorsenia; I had previously discovered my size in Nessa ordering 32GG UK from a U.K. store (in Nessa). When I received the bra, it was size 70J EU and all of my future Nessa bras I ordered in this size & they all fit #consistent.
Before I ordered this bra, I read the bratabase reviews and one person said Juliette was "scratchy" but I don't think this bra is scratchy at all! And I have sensitive skin, so IDK. I've not had any issues with Polish brands being scratchy, TBH.
I know some people like to size up in the band in Polish bras, but I just like to have a really firm band, so I just stay with the same band as UK. 32/70 - at least for Nessa! : ) I appreciate the delicate floral embroidery, it's pink & white.
I wish I could have found that bra in that size! I ended up sister sizing to a 34G (75I I guess would be the EU size?) and the band is way too big but the cups are almost perfect, maybe just slightly too big.
ETA- I have it in 75J/34GG, not 75I/34G.
Sorry, blowing up your review comments here, but wow that Jagna website is dangerous!! They ship to the US at a reasonable price and have Nessa AND Kris Line bras available, which are both so difficult to find anywhere online these days. There goes all my money lol! 💸
I know, they're great!
Oh I need to look into this brand! The bra is gorgeous. I would most likely be 75J if I wear UK 34G and need tall/ wide cups for my size.
I was wearing Nessa bras in 70L, but I now measure closer to a 65 band, then I was like hmm do I go down one or two cup sizes, because the 70L were gapping quite a lot, so I went with 2.. I probably should have got it in 65L instead because my right boob is bigger than my left, and I am quadding in this size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> But then again my boobs fluctuate, and I think they're on the "bigger side" right now. I will still keep this for my "small boob days" + I am still losing weight.
Band wise ...it fits perfectly, and the cup on my left boob fits great.
It is a silky fabric in half the cup, and top cup is lace, which isn't stretchy but it's not as stiff as other lace (like cleo marcie for example). It feels more forgiving. The cups are a 3 part construction with the seam down the middle of the silky fabric. It is not lined. The wings are sturdy mesh fabric.
The straps are fully adjustable, but tbh I feel like they're not long enough for me, they're a bit tight. I am 175 cm tall. Read more 96 more words
I feel like a Nessa/Kris Line Rep because everywhere I just recommend those 2 brands lmao. But they have so many good looking bras!
I agree! love their stuff!
I just ordered a Nessa Lea in 70I and happened to meander to see if anyone else has added one to the database yet and came across your review! I feel like you and I always have similar tastes in bras haha. I also feel like a Nessa/Kris Line rep myself these days!
This bra is so pretty and kinda different from most of the other Nessa bras I’ve seen/tried. I think you wear it well!
Continuing my journey of trying to find ABTF in my new size after losing 40+ pounds and having a baby.
This bra is probably the closest I’ve found to a proper fit, but it’s still not quite there. I’ve marked it as fitting, even though it’s slightly too big and the band is also too big. I got this one on Brastop, and returns are a PITA, so I’m going to wear it as long as I can until I get another bra that fits or buy another Nessa in a different size (I’m thinking 70J might be the right fit for me, maybe? If not, I know ...70K will fit for sure.
I’m not new to Nessa bras - I used to have an Angela, Coral, and Simone in my other size. The Juliette is exactly the same as the other Nessa bras I’ve owned - material is very pretty, but not super soft (it’s actually somewhat scratchy.) I’m not a huge fan of the color, but that’s a minute detail. It has side boning, which typically bothers me and is uncomfortable but because I sized up in the band, the boning actually isn’t noticeable. The top of the cups are quite open and are lined with elastic. The wires are fairly narrow. There’s more space at the apex than the bottom, so I would say the projection is not immediate (I find Kris Line bras to have more immediate projection). Straps and band are super stretchy and comfortable.
Like I mentioned earlier, the band is too big for me. I measure a 32 band (snug measurement is like 30-31”, so even the 32” band is not tight-tight). This band stretches to 35”. The cups have space at the top by the straps, and depending on how my boobs decide to place themselves each day, this bra can actually fit quite well or quad.
My boobs are projected, pendulous, soft, and if I were to guess they’re even vertical fullness, center horizontal fullness, low-set, and short root height. Read more 231 more words
I have a 70J in this exact same bra, lol, and I currently measure about 32GG !!
But I know some people like to size up in Polish in the band but I just stay with 70 band so far with Nessa. But I also like a really firm band.
I actually ordered Nessa straight from the UK (MioDestino - their website doesn't work anymore though. technically, I ordered through Fruugo.ca but that's a whole other store) and they had the UK sizes listed; when I ordered 32GG UK in Nessa they sent me 70J.
I have another Nessa bra, same size, but with a slightly different cut, Clarisse Side Support https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dnpep/ which is a 4-part cup (it has the addt'l side support panel) I mean, they measure about the same, only Clarisse has a taller gore and longer wires by 1.2 inches
If you get all the same style, Nessa is really consistent, at least that is my experience with them. It says on Nessa's website that they specialize in soft, large-cup bras.
BraOdyssey I’m actually really bummed about MioDestino because that’s where I got a couple of my Nessa bras previously. I’m guessing they probably went out of business if the website isn’t there anymore. 😔
I know, they had Gorsenia, too. Plus, I think they had a domestic returns portal.
I got two of my Nessa's from a Polish store, Jagna.pl
You have to email them what you want to order - I wouldn't order unless you plan on not returning anything though.
This bra’s gore is too short so it is uncomfortable but I otherwise believe it fits okay. It is a very uncomfortable me bra. Wish it was made out of a different material!
Super bummed about this... This model is humongous on me. The cups are pretty much too big in every direction. Might research the cup sizes and see if it can be purchased like two cups down.
Oh no!! I was about to buy this from brastop in the size listed "30DD" because I love the color and it's on sale but it seems I shouldn't bother lol. That cup depth is huge!! And 30DD is the smallest size they have on brastop so I guess I'm out of luck lol
thank you for reviewing!
They were definitely huge! Glad my review could help you out.
what a stunning bra. The lace looks very pretty from afar. Up close it's a bit meh but who is looking that close and cares anyway lol
The band is a true 34. It barely stretches further. So it's very TTS. The gore height is nice, it's not as high as Panache etc, but not low like a plunge so I feel secure. It hits me nicely just before my my boob-distance becomes tiny so that's a plus. It also has about 1cm worth of "empty" wire channels just at the top of the gore, at first I thought it didn't tack but it's just that the wires end ...a little lower than the actual fabric part of the gore, if that makes sense? I don't mind, it doesn't seem to affect the fit.
It gives me great uplifted shape. But because it's not stretch lace I do quad ever so slightly when I breathe in, but I'm sure I can manage.
The fabric is soft on the inside and on the back/sides, the cups are lined with a sort of soft tulle fabric. The top lace part isn't lined so it's not soft. It could be scratchy to some I suppose if you are sensitive. It has side boning but it's pretty soft.
The wires does creak when moving, hopefully won't be super noticeable. It's fairly comfortable overall, I just wish it either had stretch lace or that I got it in a 34JJ (and risk it being too big).
Edit: On second though I've decided to return this and possibly order it in a 36J instead as I feel the snug band and slightly small cup of the 34J might irritate me during long work days. Read more 176 more words
That fabric and pattern is so awesome! It looks lovely on you. As for the creaking, hope that goes away. I’ve had a few creaking bras in the past and it drove me insane!
pretty! Too bad it doesn't work out for you.
