I have this sports bra also in 30E in which the cups feeled a little too small, so I tried 30F. There the band was too big! So heading for 28FF.
The band is now tight enough. There is also enough room in the cups now. The only minus is that some wrinkling or so is seen in the upper cups but not much and it doesn´t bother me.
I don´t have much to say about this bra, because it just feels okay https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Band okay, cups okay, straps okay. Boobs barely move when jumping and the bra stays in place if I hold arms up. Appearance excellent!
EDIT. The wrinkling of upper cups seems to have disappeared for some reason.
I ordered this sports bra in 30F because I felt that 30E might have been a hint too small.
In 30F the band is not tight enough! It must be hooked in the "middle tightness", if it is on the loosest hooks, it´s definitely too loose. I´m able to use the tightest hooks, too. There is no cutting of breast tissue in the upper part anymore. But I´m not sure if I fill properly the bottom of cups. And there is odd gapping/wrinkling of the left cup in the upper section, I say odd because my left breast is bigger! There is however very little gapping, I wonder if it´s "okay".
So I cannot really decide if this is better for me than 30E. The band for sure should be tighter, but the cups... I wonder if my size would be somewhere middle of 30E and 30F.
This 30F sure feels more comfortable than 30E which kind of presses my chest.
It is the first sport bra I ever own, so I only can tell you this bra's support is better than a classic padded bra. The sport I pratic is dance. I can rise my arms, bend forward, lie down and roll on the floor, the bra stay in place (but, I have to close it in the middle or tightest hook overwise it rides up a bit). I can jump without feeling my boobs escaping in the top of the cup and hurt. Under a shirt, it give me a FANTASTIC SHAPE !
But, the straps are not long enough for me. It isn't the adjustable ...part of the staps, but the front part. I am very tall, so, if I want to attach the staps together on my back with the little hook, the front part of the straps is so tight, it is very inconfortable and hurt me. So, I never use this little strap hook, and wear this bra with the strap in the classic way.
And, I really like this bra appearance ! When I were it I am a super-woman, I am not a girl with a big ugly sport bra !
edit 4 months later : Now, I have little more good bra fitting experience, so I can feel this bra has a band too big for me and too narrow underwires. I can wear it for dancing, but now I do zumba and this bra isn't supportive enough because of the back too big. I need a new sport bra, but I don't think a 30DD or 30E in panache sport will fix the too narrow underwires issue. Read more 170 more words
Tight but supportive band, bra completely encapsulates and separates breasts. Back connector hook is a little too high to use comfortably, but is a good idea.
Really love this. The padded straps are super comfy and this is probably the only bra I own that doesn't chafe my arm/armpit area. The cup is just a little too big on my smaller side but since it fits my larger side I'll be keeping it, it's not too noticeable under clothes anyway but I can add a cutlet if need be. There really is a big difference in how much less bounce there is in this bra compared to my everyday ones. Also, the padded straps are only half adjustable, not an issue for me but it could be for some.
I bought this in a 30H because I have the 32G and feel that the band could be snugger.
At first it was difficult to hook the back, but when I tried it a second time it was easier. The bra is fairly comfortable, but there is a lot of padding and just material on the bra.
I am thinking I will return it as I'm not 100% satisfied with how it fits.
Also, I'm not sure this bra provides as much bounce control as I'm looking for.
I've tried many sports bras. Most are just not sufficient when it comes to bounce prevention. Usually the bra is squishing my boobs, but they still bounce. Grr... But not this one! I wouldn't say it eliminates 100% of bounce (I doubt that's possible if any degree of comfort is to be maintained), but it does a pretty good job.
The Active Sports from Freya is almost as good, but it gives me torpedo boobs, and the material feels slick if I sweat at all. This Panache bra has a much more rounded shape, and wicks moisture well.
I highly recommend it for any large-chested sports enthusiast!
I first ordered (and reviewed) a 32G and it was a bit loose in the cups. This one is a better fit. I have been wearing it to the gym and I love it. The shape is awesome (I can from home to the gym wearing it under my clothes and I look good), it is supportive and super comfy.
This bra is the first sports bra I've owned in years and the only one that has ever actually done its job of completely immobilizing my breasts even during high impact activities. On top of that, it's cute and can easily double as an exercise top. The outside appearance of this bra is such that it doesn't draw undue attention to the fact that it is truly a marvel of engineering. It gives an excellent round and uplifted shape, and the contrasting colors make it visually interesting and fun. Even though the cups are definitely too large for me (I get significant buckling at ...the bottom of the molded cups, which does not show through the outer layer of the bra), I can do pretty much any activity I desire without worrying about injuring myself or tearing ligaments in my breasts.
The center gore is quite high and the bra continues beyond that point, completely encapsulating all breast tissue; however, sometimes the fabric-only gore stands away from my chest until I readjust the bra. The band is very firm and only stretches a tiny bit with wear. The straps are thick and padded for comfort. They also taper attractively so that the widest point hits at the shoulder and the narrowest where the straps meet the rest of the bra. Read more 120 more words
I love this bra. I think if I got another one, I would go down a cup size though. This one had a bit of fabric gaping at the top. It's not too much of a problem though, it just looks slightly weird under a t-shirt.
I absolutely love the fabric of this one. It is just so soft! Also, the cut (excluding the top) fit really well. No armpit poking or anything. I also like the idea of the racerback hook on the straps, but found it impossible to hook myself. Using that hook eliminated a little of the gaping at the top and I was able to jump up and down with very little jiggle. If it weren't for the seams and fabric gape showing under clothes, I would want to wear this one every day.
The bra is hard to clasp, but once it's on, your boobs are SET. No bouncing whatsoever. I love the feature where I could hook it as a racerback bra. That being said, it is quite a snug fit.
I'll rewrite this review in the future, as I haven't tested it yet in a "sports" situation.
I bought this one after trying unsuccessfully to buy a decent Freya Underwired Sports bra (poor fit, I felt like I had my breasts up my chin, it was too small at the top of the cup and way too big at the bottom).
I think the straps don't adjust short enough, but since it can be worn as a racerback, this isn't much of a problem. But the support (reminder: not in a real sport situation) is incredible. I jumped around and, even though my breasts moved around a bit, they ...didn't hurt AT ALL. In sports bra in the past, I've either felt supported by compression (no movement, but minimal breathing allowed) or not supported at all. So I was surprised to feel supported with my breasts moving! And I have no small breasts, and they hurt after half an hour if I don't wear a bra walking around my appartment.
The colour (grey) is cute, original and yet discreet.
Now I have to use it properly! Read more 75 more words
Neither the 30F and this one fit. The main problem with this size the that the cups don't cut high enough so I'm getting a double boob. I'm pretty disappointed. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Cup depth: 20.5cm Cup width: 13cm Underwire length: 21cm
Could you write down the cup's width? I think I'll have to add support for those measurements to certain sports bras.
