Great bra, just not the right fit for me. I just wore it on a walk: I definitely need a 32 band, and I'm not surprised as that's what I prefer now anyway. Cups have nice immediate and peak projection. Gore is designed as a soft tack and definitely does keep the breasts separate. Purchased unreturnable, so will wash and be selling at some point.
Panache Sport (non wired and wired) are my favorite bras so far. They are so comfortable and fit so nicely. I pretty much wear them as a T-shirt bra. They work pretty well as sports bras, too. There's a clip on the straps for extra support when needed. My only complaint is that they're too high up to wear v-neck and other lower-cut clothes.
This bra has a lot of great reviews. I like the appearance of it, especially some of the older season color combinations. In all the reviews I read online, I also liked how it looked on, the coverage, the overall sturdiness of the construction and the shape under clothes. However, I have had nothing but trouble with the Panache Sport (wired) bra. It doesn't live up to the hype for me.
I typically wear a 30G and was recommended to size down in the cup for a 30FF. When I tried the bra on in an independent boutique, they didn't have 30FF in stock, so I tried 32F and ...30G. The 32F was swimming in the band, but right in the cup. The 30G was comfortable in the band (not snug, just comfortable), but gaping in the cup. So the fitter and I confirmed that a 30FF would be the way to go. I ordered the 30FF in black from Nordstrom even though I preferred the older season colors (for free returns).
The first thing I noticed is that the 30FF was too small in the cup. The FF is half a size too small for my larger boob although a perfect fit on the other side. I fill out the cups well all the way to the wire (no wrinkling at the bottom of the cup), but there is some gaping at the "sides" and quadding on the larger boob over the top. The side panels seem to gape outwards when I put my arms down/relaxed. On the plus side, the wings don't go up too high into my armpit area. The band is firm enough for support on the last hook, but could go to the second hook. Comparing this to the 30G - Panache Sport ยป Non Wired Sports Bra (7341) that I will review soon, the non-wired has tighter band.
On the whole, the bra "fits". Unfortunately, it is incredibly uncomfortable. The deal breaker is that the straps feel very hard and scratchy. I have to tighten them all the way and I still need a couple more inches of tighten room because it's not enough (I'm short with high set breasts). While the J-clip helps with the support a little, it hurts really badly to have it clipped. If I loosen the straps, the pain lessens on the clip, but then so does the support. I can't get a happy medium. The longer I wear it, the more it hurts. I would not recommend it for anyone with sensitive skin or shoulders. When I took it off, I looked like I had been attacked by a cat.
I am also not sold on the underwires. The padding around them seemed mostly sufficient, but the channels are a little longer than the wire and I don't know how long they would last without poking through. The wires aren't uncomfortable just wearing the bra, but doing some side to side motions and turning were abrasive for me. I have bony ribs without much "squish", so this could be a factor.
I was surprised to much prefer the non-wired version. I will add a review for that one shortly.
Best sports bra I've tried so far. However, this is definitely more suited to full on top shape. There is too much room/its too projected in the top in this for me and not projected enough/not enough room at the bottom and around the gore. Sizing down in the cup made it too small all over so I've stuck with this size and pad the tops and put it in the racerback strap configuration when I use it for high impact activity which seems to work really well. The band is really nice and tight for a 30 - even after several wears.
Strictly speaking, the cup is too wide, but it is still very comfortable for me. It is very nice as a lounging bra and it hugs your boobs very nicely.
Last week I was sick and I wore this bra exclusively! I was happy that I was finally using my sports bra!

This bra fits me well overall. I weat it to run, it keeps my breast in place and reduces bouncing. The underwire is padded and very comfortable, I don't even feel them. Even if the size seems to be right, the underwire does not sit flat at my sternum. The band size is normal so 30 is OK for me, it's also wide enough so it doesn't show back fat... The straps can be attached at the middle, wich gives better support but it makes the straps very uncomfortable at the shoulders. There is not a lot of room to adjust the straps, which are a little bit too long for me, but that can be altered easily. This bra gives my boob a great shape and lift, but the seams show under my t-shirts.
This is my first underwired sports bra and I absolutely LOVE it! I have always struggled to find a good sports bra, no more compression bras for me! The Panache Sport gives incredible support. I mean, incredible. I could hang upside-down right now and my girls wouldn't go ANYwhere. I use it to go to the gym, but any physical activity or sport can be handled by this bra.
The straps have the option to clasp in the back, but the straps are too short for me to do that comfortably.
I bought it in 30FF before I correctly sized myself at 30G. While I can squeeze myself into it, a 30G would probably fit me better. I find that it cuts into my front armpit/breast tissue area, especially when I clasp the straps racerback style. The center gore also lifts off my chest very slightly. I believe this is due to my wearing the wrong size, not fault with the bra.
This sports bra is the best!!! I used to wear 2 bras when working out in attempt to get the support needed... I don't have to do that anymore!!! This bra is super supportive and comfortable. The turquoise one is such a pretty color too! It can be worn with the straps in normal position or as a racerback. The clip to convert it to a racerback is high above the shoulder blades and it's not adjustable up and down, so the straps still show with some shirts. Depends on the cut. That doesn't bother me much. I don't mind my straps showing a ...bit when wearing sporty clothing. The band felt a little tight to me at first, but it's breaking in nicely. I opted for a tighter band because I figured it would stretch and have a little give over time. I work as a server at a restaurant and I love wearing this bra to work. Once it's on I don't have to adjust it throughout the night as I'm working and it keeps me feeling comfortable and supported throughout the entire shift. The bra is so supportive that I barely rely on the straps to hold me up, which is a nice break for my shoulders. I love this one so much that I plan on purchasing several more! Not sure if this one is for me. It is very hard for me to tell what exactly is not working with the fit, since so much of it is hidden from view but here is my attempt:
1. The wires are too wide for me. This isn't the bra's fault, panache wires are usually wide, I only found this out weeks after buying the bra.
2. The cups are too small (or maybe shallow is a better word). I suspect this because I get quite a bit of tissue under my armpits that I can't seem to get into the cups.
3. I think that because of this the underwires ...only touch my sternum, and don't manage to provide as much support as they should
I don't think going up a cup size would help because the wires would get even wider.
However, I don't have an intensive workout routine. most days I go for a walk, sometimes I do aerobics, so it is wearable and definitely better than any of my regular bras for those purposes.
I will be trying the Freya sports bra since their wires tend to be narrower and I suggest that if anyone reading this is thinking of getting a sports bra then go try bras by the same brand first to see how the underwire sits. Read more 110 more words
This bra is rock-solid. It's very unyielding but is loosening to a comfortable constriction - good for me, I'd like my $70 sports bra to last as long as a $70 epee blade! The fit is a little strange because of how large the cup area is, but it's not uncomfortable. It's also super comfortable, even considering that Panache generally doesn't get along with my chest.
It ain't sexy but it's functional and keeps my boobs in place. Appearance, okay. Performance, excellent.
If this sports bra were able to be worn under most shirts of differing cuts I would wear it ALL of the time. It is kind of bulky because of how structured it is, and I can't say that I believe the 83% less bounce business, but I love it for running/jogging and will be using it in my Pilates class. It definitely doesn't compress at all but it keeps me secure! I wouldn't mind more color options, either.
I LOVE this bra! It fits great, provides shape and great support even for horseback riding. Plus, it's cute enough to wear without a shirt for summer climbing.
Love this bra! I hope I still love it after I wear it. I also ordered a neon reptile 7341a in 30F, and that one doesn't hold as firmly. You know why? The elastic under the cups is actually wider on the 30FF. The 30F is close to .5, and the 30FF is .75!! Also, be aware that the straps don't adjust THAT long. There is a J-hook, but heck if I know how to get that thing hooked behind my back.
Bought used. First impression/fitting: looser band than the Freya wire/unpadded 30g (maybe due to 3 hooks vs 4, the 4 definately feels more secure). Similar look/build quality to my molded cup Chantelle 32D, but with softer, more athletic/water-wicking fabric.
Fit: My tall roots don't all fit, spill out slight to the side too. I always have to swoop to try to fit the breast into the mold, so far okay. But getting one in 30G would be not be enough compression for me. The racerback is what really helps with holding me in when moving/jumping. Under wires fit quite well, centre gore may not tack fully, but I can't see ...it anyways. Wires are not as painful as the Freya one, but still feeling tight, as its a smaller size/not enough immediate projection. I've read Panache Sport runs big in cup, so it may also just be a molded cup issue.
Jump test: Still bouncing with racer back clip. I read reviews saying this is a better model, but I think I would go down again, so 2 sizes down from actual bra size, but for firmer breasts, it might not be comfortable enough. Read more 85 more words
These are fantastic!! I used to be the one wearing a sports bra over a regular bra with a stretchy bandeau over top just to be able to run. This bra is great! Not much bounce and I don't feel like my chest is squished nor that they're going to slip out the top or under the band.
Short, projected, close set, center full, omega shaped, slightly narrow, even breasts....
This is my second sports bra. The first was a 30G Shock Absorber 4490. I've been happy with my Shock Absorber, but I needed one more sports bra to lessen my laundry frequency. The materials are supportive. The construction appears to be good quality. The seams do not chafe or bind. The j-hook is easy to fasten while wearing. The staps are thoughtfully padded over the shoulders. And, the padding is sufficient to shroud prominent nipples. Yes!
I like ...it, but this is a "lot of bra." It is 100 degrees F today. The design better accommodates taller roots than Shock Absorber 4490. And, because of the space for taller roots, my narrower breast bounces more in Panache 7341 than S.A. 4490. But, the bounce does not hurt and I can freely exercise. My wider breast is perfectly encapsulated and I risk discomfort if I size down. So, I'll tolerate a bit of bouce and continue jumping around.
For the price I paid, I'm content. However, I would be unhappy had I paid full retail considering the excellent results I've had with a less expensive S.A. 4490.

Panache Sport is my favorite everyday bra. I usually just wear them as T-shirt bras because they're so comfortable and are the only bras I have right now that actually fit perfectly. They are incredibly comfortable and are actually good sports bras for those who need a little more support. The straps have a clip on them for extra support, which is nice for when you plan a vigorous workout.
The only problem is I can't wear them with lower-cut shirts because they come up too high.
It's a shame the Panache Sport seems intent on killing you! :(
