This is probably the fourth or fifth one I've owned, if that tells you anything about my feelings regarding this style. It's an overall great sports bra and I've used it for hiking, biking, dancing, yoga, the gym. I've never had a complaint about what I could or could not do. And the variety of color definitely makes it feel less like a boring sports bra. Getting this in Tie Dye Pink really made my day.

This is the first in a 34H after much research to decide my new size. I think the fit of this bra is perfect and I really couldn't ask for it to fit ... any better. The gore has never laid flat in any model I've owned. I don't know if it's because of my breast tissue/placement (my breasts are not close set, the tissue is soft and maleable) but it doesn't bother me nor does it feel any less secure since the material of the cups and the bra as a whole come up high.

The straps are comfortable where they sit and I love how they are thick and padded. There's no cutting into my shoulders. Wearing it in the racerback style does bring the straps a little too harsh into my underarms, but with some adjustment it isn't the worst. Turning it to racerback assists in keeping my breasts as stationary as we can ever expect them to be at this size.

The band feels fairly true to size. Normally, I will wear a 32 in regular bras for the support I need, but because I've noticed that Panache Sport runs a little tight and has overall more structural integrity, the 34 is the better option and I know that the 32 would have been uncomfortably tight for a few weeks until it stretched out a little more.

If you've never had this bra before, the best way to decide your size is to either try them on, or look at the measurements. I wear a 32KK in Ewa Michalak, yet comfortably fit in this 34H. I compared the measurements of my best fitting bra with a few different sizes of this model to decide which was the closest and had the best chance of fitting. And I did not regret a thing.

Thanks for the review! Interesting that you could size down in cup from your usual size :O I never could get a decent fit in panache Sports and I wonder if I tried the wrong sizes. I also wear around 32JJ/K in other bras but failed with 32J and 34J panache sports.

Good review I followed the measurements of boodyboo store calculator and put me in 32HH .i keep this size and try and one down I think this calculator run true .i agreed I always try a lot of sizes and I am very disappointed one size down the gore is far away I put two fingers in

    • 1

I'm not sure why the sizing is SO far off, but each panache sport I've had has been in the G-H range depending on the time I purchased it.

I'm not sure if this is something that works for everyone or what the limitations/comparisons would be. (Like I mentioned, my breast tissue is soft and malleable so as long as there's room in the cup, it'll adjust to it.)

    • 1

I also have soft breast tissue. I tried 32J in this bra which I found constricting and tight, then I sized up to 34J and that suddenly is too large, too tall, gaping on top and almost pokes me under my arms. So I wonder if I only should have sized up in band but not in cups and the 32J felt constricting because the band was too tight? :S

Oh just saw you added pictures! That bra print is gorgeous. It looks very nice on you!

In one pics the gore doesn’t sit flat to your sternum is it bras issue ?

    • 1

alisa I am always in love with anything with fun print and colors for large cups. We don't get enough of them, so thank you!

maraki So my breasts sit just about an inch apart, but the core isn't the strong support of most bras, if that makes sense. The wires don't come up all the way, but there isn't the firm section where the gore of a normal bra would be. I think that's why it comes out. I wouldn't say it's necessarily an issue? It's been this way for any size I've been in, but I don't feel like it compromises the security of the bra. I hope that makes sense!

    • Yes j understand that I thought that this bra in all sizes must sit the gore flat .mine the 32H didn’t sit but 32HH dit’s may be iam wrong th he fits is what breast have if you feel secure ok but this bra I love it

    LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

The band is nice and snug. The double layer over the cups (a foamy layer with encased underwires plus a seamed stretchy fabric cover) is super awesome. It looks good under a shirt, and I'm seriously tempted to wear it as a bikini top for fresh water swimming as the seam lines are very flattering.

The bra keeps me separated, without sticking my boobs into my armpits. I can do cartwheels without needing to adjust. Nothing pokes me or scratches me. The wires stop at "balconette" level in the centre, and then the padded fabric/mesh overlay continues up, so there's no chance of pressure sores on ... the sternum. This is so much more comfortable than my (now too big) Freya Underwire sports bra.

The straps are padded, as is the fabric that goes under the hooks in the back. The straps can also hook together to make the bra into a racer-back style, but I haven't tried that yet.

If only it had a lower neckline, so I could make it my every day bra. Sigh. I love my Elomi Caitlyn as well (which I also wish was lower cut), but this bra does a little minimizing due to the compression, which makes me happy on days where I don't want my boobs to be centre of attention.

Edit: It's probably not evident from the photo, but the wires in the centre gore sit against my chest, but the extension tends to poof out. I *just* fill this bra, but a cup size down was too small. If you're not very soft, or don't have a lot on top, this bra probably won't work for you.

I just received this in the mail after purchasing it from another Bratabase user. I already own a black Panache Sport in 32H which I have pretty much worn the bejeesus out of, since I like to use it as a t-shirt bra and also for jogging/walking my dog. The 32H is very slightly too small for me now - the cups don't contain my tissue at the top, although this is partly because I have very tall roots. I wanted to get a second Panache Sport and was interested in trying it in a cup up, so I grabbed this 34H knowing it would ... possibly be a bit too big in the band (note: at time of writing, Panache currently only makes this in D-H, although it's been confirmed that they will start making it in D-J in the near future).

My only other experience with a 34-banded sister size prior to this one was an Avocado Greta in 75K, which was a pretty spectacular fail on me mostly due to the massive band. I received the Greta after I paid for this bra and was subsequently worried that this one wouldn't fit. As it turned out, I was pleasantly surprised by the fit of the band - admittedly, I do have to do it up on the tightest hooks and it is still angled up a bit at the back, but I don't feel it moving with wear (I took it for a test run to work in the lab today). It's definitely wearable, even though I've been leaning more towards 30 bands rather than 32s lately. If it sees significant stretching with time, I'll consider taking the band in.

The cups definitely look better on me than the 32H cups. They still don't quite contain all my upper tissue like on the women who model the Panache Sport, but due to the aforementioned tall roots I don't think that's ever going to happen. The gore's too tall for me, but I don't find it uncomfortable - it doesn't brute-force its way onto my sternum to squish breast tissue, like some of Bravissimo's own-brand bras that I've tried. As always, the wires get an A+++ for comfort. The bottoms of the cups don't dig into my ribs at all (this is a problem that I have had with pretty much every bra I own, which I am pretty sure is due to the squishy tummy I am developing as a result of being in grad school https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> ). From Panache's marketing of this bra I believe the underwires are wrapped in silicon gel. I wish all bra wires were made like this! My boobs need the strong Panache wires, but without the digging in.

I have one fit issue that does bother me, and it's that the wings began to bite my armpits at the end of the day. This happened more on my smaller side, and has never happened in the 32H. This is probably a consequence of the bra technically being too wide and shallow for me, but I'm willing to deal with it.

34H was clearly too small in cups and band. The combination of too small cups and too small band made it unbearable. I got some overspill on top and on the sides. With racer-back option it prevented bouncing best (compared to 36H and 38H) but I could barely breathe in it. (For the records I usually wear a 32K/KK in Panache)

    About the bra in general:
    + It is beyond comfortable!
+ Padded wire channels / wide shoulder straps
+ Band is wide and supportive
    + racer-back option
+ very nice round shape (not the dreaded flat boob shape)
+ good for lighter activities or lounging

    - limited size range (If there was 34J / 34JJ, I think that would be my "proper" size)
    - it does limit bouncing somewhat but I doubt I'd go jogging with this bra or do heavy impact activity https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":S" />
    - gore does not tack (in any of the sizes I tried)

    Used to fit

This bra fits okay, but doesn't provide much support. The racerback option doesn't seem to give any extra benefit, and it requires some contortions to unhook it when you're sweaty and worn out from the gym. It does encase my breasts fairly well, so they are held front and center and don't get in my way when I try to exercise, but it doesn't prevent movement well enough to be suitable for high impact sports.

Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the bra was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of the bra near the time of purchase. Since the bra was purchased, my breasts have grown and the bra no longer fits properly. Below are my comments on the current state of the bra:

I wear the bra about once a week. I am now using it on the second hook but it didn't seem to stretch out especially quickly.

Wires are too large. There's extra bra in my armpit Im not filling, and instead my chest is fighting the gore. The padding/quality seems really good but, again, the gore seems too wide and like it's driving the bottom of the band/gore into my chest. It's also makeing the outside really funky where they tried to put a stretch layer out to "hide" the cups. Since the gore isnt flat< the whole front?middle looks wonky. Straps are too far apart. Think the cups are too far apart for me to wear.

This band seems tighter than on my other Panache Sports bra. This is a little big in the cup on my smaller side, but overall more comfortable than the 34G at this point in time. I might try a 36 GG. Nice support for everyday activities and good sweat wicking ability. I would not recommend for high impact activities such as running or jump rope (ha!).

I'm a 32JJ in the panache tango (could probably do a 32J) and 32 K in almost everything else. I love this bra because it's comfortable...when made into a racerback, I can actually do a bit more as far as exercising goes...I buy it in an 34H so it's not my exact fit but it's too cute and comfortable to not buy. I lose some support because of this and the center gore does not lye flat against me but I'm contained in it. The last one I had was the same size and it lasted a year before the wire popped out and I washed it in the washing machine all the time so it holds up really well. I would say this bra more closely follows my measurements..I measure at a 34HH but breast shape makes me a K cup (I'm a mixture of full on top and round) but this bra doesn't fit me too bad-no one else can tell it's not my correct size.

I love this bra! It is super comfortable, very supportive, and since it's an encapsulation-based sports bra, it still lifts and separates, giving a nice, uplifted, rounded shape. The cups run slightly big, so it fits my 34HH/32J breasts comfortably without any spillage or squeezing, though the gore doesn't quite tack. It's also the cutest large-bust sports bra I've found.
The underwire has quite a bit of padding around it, making this my most comfortable bra. If it didn't come up so high, I would probably wear it as a normal bra. Since I don't like to sleep bra-less, if I've been wearing one of my more poke-y bras during the day, I will switch into this one when I go to bed.
