Shape: Firm tissue; projected; a lot of immediate projection; full on bottom; even-to-centre full; close set; splayed, short and narrow roots.
Summary: This is currently my best fitting bra. It certainly fits the best out of any Panache styles I've tried on. This is the first plunge style bra I've tried in my new size and I absolutely prefer this shape to full cup or balconette for my shape. Does it fit perfectly? Nope. But it's 'fine' which is good enough for me right now. The wires are still slightly too wide for me (by around 2cm), however I'm aware I'm pretty narrow so I'm basically taking what ... I can get before I finally have the guts to try some Polish brands. Despite the width issues, the bra fits comfortably. FINALLY a bra that stays under my IMF, which seemed like it was literally never going to happen. This tells me that there must be at least a fair amount of immediate projection in this bra.
Important note: Normally people size up a cup size in this bra, however the 32F (my normal size) was laughably too big in the cup for my right boob which is quite a bit smaller than the left. This one (32E) is probably millimetres too small for the left bigger boob, but doesn't cause quadding anywhere, and fits well on the smaller boob. Something to consider for anyone who also has a fairly noticeable size difference.
What I like:
Beautiful design - simple but effective. Lace doesn't show under (good quality cotton) t-shirts.
The gore is super low - excellent for me as I normally have an issue with gores sitting too high and slightly on my left boob. None of that here. The gore is also very narrow - the wires cross over, which is also great for me as I'm close set.
The shape I get in this bra is my preferred one - not super rounded but not torpedo boob. My natural boob shape is preserved without exaggerating pointyness.
Band is firm - I enjoy the feeling of being held in, which is why I've been so forgiving with Panache bras despite mostly being a shape mismatch, as this is a classic feature of their bras.
What I don't like:
The wire channel rolls down a little on my larger side as this size is probably a tiiiiiiny bit too small in the cup on that side. Ideally I'd need a cup size up to make the wire height a little bigger to contain this, however I noted the issues with doing so above. I will probably attempt to push the wire further up the channel at some point.
I imagine this style would not work for people who are very centre full as the lace sits very flat at the apex and bottom where it meets the gore. It's not as stretchy as some of Panache's other laces.
