I have had a bilateral mastectomy with silicone implant reconstruction, and tend to need shallower cups as I lack a lot of projection. Which may be why this bra seems to work so well for me; I notice many of the other comments are about how the shallow cups require sizing up in the cup size, but for me the cups seem perfect in my regular size and the stretch mesh along top conforms nicely to my shape. I am rather even on top and bottom (like a "D") but as I lack breast tissue and the implants are rather firm, I don't have the issues with the ... slings making odd shapes or making my breasts too pointy that I have seen in other reviews. I can see why very soft breast tissue or natural breasts might make the fit a bit more difficult though. My breasts kind of hold their shape on their own, so the main concern is getting a wire that fits right around the implant.
I really like the side sling on the inside, it does push me a little more front and centered, and adds a bit more lateral support which feels better for me (and helps reduce risk of lateral migration along with the proper fitting wire).
I have this bra in both Pearl and Black. I don't notice a huge difference in fit between them, but the lace on the Pearl feels softer. It's quite incredible really, and I readily wear that one to sleep as well. With both, I really forget I have them on during the day. I have no poking issues or anything.
The wire encapsulates around my implants perfectly, key in my case, and the gore tacks nicely, the straps have some stretch and are fully adjustable. The band is snug (I measure 29" snugly) but it's perfect for the kind of fit I like in my bands.
