    Didn't fit

The cari is a bit tall for me as a petite person, so in the 30E, I get a bit of gapping near the center and top. I tried 28E (I would've tried 28F instead of 30E, but it was cheaper in 30E). I quadboob out of the 28E (I think the volume of 28E/30DD is just too small for me in general), and the wires are a good bit too narrow. It hurt pretty bad to wear for more than an hour. The 30E is better, the wires are wide enough, but maybe not as wide as I need. I have wide roots + tissue migration, so ... I am trying to go for wide wires that fully encapsulate all of my breast tissue and hopefully move it back. I have a lot of boob under my armpit, and my armpit is right against where my boob ends, so it can be tricky as fully encapsulating all of my breast tissue kind of means the cups have to be in my armpit. I However, while this bra is not as wide as I'd like, I think it is wide enough that it's not sitting on my breast tissue. Most molded cups do not have enough immediate projection for me, and this one does. I can't return this bra at this point so I am hoping it works long-term. The gaps don't show under clothing, anyway.

    Didn't fit

Overall a good fit when I wear a non-stretch extender. I like the shape that this bra gives under t-shirts, and I feel like it isn’t the most accurate fit, but it does what I need when I don’t want bumpiness or seams showing through under my shirts. I also purchased and wear the 34D, because of how snug I found the band to run! The 32DD cut of the cups seems to fit better - the 34D cups feel like they are cut a little taller

I do have a rib flare situation going on, including a little unevenness (almost like a lip) on my sternum (right side) ... and when I first purchased the Cari in 32DD, the gore wire would rock back and forth on my sternum. This was resolved with a non-stretch extender, although it was the most pronounced issue I’ve faced with a bra and my ribs so far. Just adding this in in case any others have some rib flare issues too!
    ——————-
    About my shape/fit:

Pendulous. Projected at IMF. Center full. Flared rib cage. Short roots. Average-narrow root width. Soft tissue. Slightly full on bottom. A little wide set.

My recommended starting point was 32DD/E or 34D/DD. I teeter on the edge of both band size and size, depending on time of the month, brand, etc. I would describe my shape as horizontally center full, slightly wide set, lots of soft tissue from weight loss. I think I’m even fullness but functionally full on bottom. I have immediate projection that I need to accommodate, but overall I seem to be fairly shallow-average in terms of projection. My roots are average-narrow width and average-shorter height.

    Fits

The cups are a little tall, but especially when I wear it with the clips I find the fit to be pretty good. I prefer the cups on the 32DD but the band is very snug, which is why I decided to try the 34D as well.
The cups don’t feel too wide, but they do give a wider shape than I usually feel my other bras do. It creates a little flatness on the curve between my armpit and nipple, this is remedied when I use the J-hooks as well.
I wore the bra on an extender for the first several wears, now it feels comfortably snug without extender.

Overall ... - comfortable and wearable, while not being the ideal technical fit.

I really wanted to love this bra but it just wasn't right for my chest. The bra seems well constructed and it has some cute touches (mesh side panels, embroidery below/around the cups and on the straps, bows on the top of the cups/ on the gore, and scalloped thread edges) but in my opinion still looks a bit like a "granny" bra (at least in "champagne").

The underwire on the bra is really firm, and a little too narrow for my relatively wide-set chest. Because of how firm the underwire/ embroidered panel is, the band almost felt too small under my arms (where it was compressing my sideboob) ... even though I could easily fit a whole hand under the band in the back. (To be clear I think it's a true 30 band, I'm just still figuring out my size). The apex (most pointed part?) of the bra is also relatively centered so with my chest shape the edges of the cups by the gore gapped/wrinkled ever so slightly. This bra is definitely less shallow than a lot of other molded foam bras but still not enough immediate projection for my shape.

Even with the fit issues, this is a pretty comfortable bra if you don't mind firm underwire. The straps are soft, relatively thick, and felt really supportive. The foam is flexible enough that it moves with your tissue, but it is thin enough that I can see my nipples. If you try on this bra and the fit of the gore is a little off, check to make sure the underwire is in the right place. There's maybe 1cm (3/8ths inch) of empty space in each underwire channel, so you can slide the underwire up or down in the center gore.

    What I’m working with:
    Petite frame, &
    Low-set,
    Self-supporting,
    Close-set,
    VERY splayed,
    Asymmetrical,
    More projected on bottom, &
More spread out & shallow on top breasts

My splay made this SOOOOO flattening - it didn’t pull in my tissue from the sides AT ALL. Absolutely no side support, and no rounding or uplift whatsoever. My breasts were flattened in front and they happily took up residence on the side, so they looked as shallow and wide as pancakes. From the front it gave me a very east-west look that had zero depth when I turned to the side.

In addition to the pancaking, I experienced squaring/flattening of bottom of cup as my breasts settled because there is not nearly enough immediate projection.

To add to my fit issues, I have some mild pectus excavatum which means a well-tacking, normal-height gore tilts inward and stabs me in the sternum. It was excruciating to wear.

It looks like a fit from the pics I took, but it felt awful and I felt like I looked awful. I HIGHLY dislike this bra.

I only just got this as a 'try before you buy' because I'm in the process of getting rid of nursing bras in favor of proper bras. I've never been formally sized or worn the proper bras so this is a learning experience. Overall the bra felt snug around my torso. The straps felt like they were a bit too far apart but it wasn't terrible. I haven't worn underwire in like. ever. so that was a bit uncomfortable but it's likely just because I'm not used to it. I couldn't tell if the bit of gapping was because of the molded cup or because my breasts are very squishy and not self supporting.

Very close to fitting, but larger boob has quadriboob and smaller boob doesn't quite fill the cups. Unknown how comfortable it would be wearing for the day as only tried on.

It encases all my tissue. Is so light weight and wouldn't feel like I had anything on if it weren’t for the digging in at the apex near my pits. The band is quite snug but I’m sure it will loosen over time.

I have mixed feelings on this one. The bra is a little tight for a 34 band, but I have spent a lot of time in the no-man's land of really wanting a 33" band so that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think the band would fit more comfortably when it stretches after a few wears.

The cups mostly fit me. The only real complaint I have is that the underwires extend farther toward my back than I would prefer. This means there is a little bit of the cup on the side that isn't filled well. But the top and bottom of the cup seem to fit me decently.

The straps are partially padded, so they are not fully adjustable but the length works for me.

Overall, I would consider keeping this bra.

EDIT: My initial review was incorrect as it was for another bra! Here's the correct review, followed by the old one.

NEW: I love this bra! It's a bit too tight in the band (I need to get an extender until it stretches a little) but it fits great in the cup. The foam is thinner than it looks or seems, but doesn't show much nip under clothing for me. I love how smooth it is, and how soft the cups are to the touch.

OLD: This bra would fit beautifully if there were more immediate projection. Everything else fits great, but the underwire is pushed down and the cup buckles under my IMF because it's too shallow. Otherwise, gorgeous bra.
