This is my first purchased bra since joining bratabase and using the calculator, which gave me the size 34FF as a starting point. This review is for the Idina Plunge 6966 in Latte in a 34G, and I suspect I would better fit a 34GG in this model.

Following advice on bratabase and also customer feedback on Bravissimo's website, I chose the Idina Plunge because I wanted an unpadded, everyday bra with decent coverage, but with a low-ish gore for my close-set boobs.

Although this was my first purchase, I had previously tried on a selection of bras in two UK department stores, where 34G was a ... best fit in several Freya and Debenhams own brand models and 36F a reasonable fit in M & S (where most band sizes seemed to run tight, and where FF cupsize does not exist!)

Based on this experience, and after reviewing others' feedback on the Idina plunge, I therefore sized up one cup size to a 34G from my suggested starting point size of 34FF.

On first trying on the bra, I found the band to be stretchy and comfortable but also very snug and level around my body (34 for a snug underbust measurement of 33.5, and a "break the tape" measurement of 31.5). After several hours' wear, it is still in place, and feels both firm and supportive without digging in.

The cup size I chose is OK, and the stretch lace helps to give a smooth fit, but there is slight quadding on my larger breast, and so I suspect the 34GG might be a more ideal size for me. I bought this bra from an Amazon seller and don't feel inclined to send it back, but will store this information for next time.

I think I am even/FOB in shape and the cut-and-sew cup of the Idina gives good coverage for my immediate projection. The gore sits flat against my ribcage and the wire fits nicely right around the breast, with no excess fabric wrinkles underneath (which is a problem I have found with the "smoothing" unpadded T-shirt bras that I prefer aesthetically under slim-fitting clothes, but which tend not to provide the immediate projection that I need on the bottom of the cup). Under a semi-sheer blouse, the lace pattern of this bra does show slightly, but it does not show under a reasonable quality T-shirt, so this seems a good compromise for now.

Other than the cup fit issue, this is a lovely everyday bra with stretch lace over smooth mesh-lined half cups. The straps are backed with soft lining for comfort, are fully adjustable and fit well. The hardware is a warm copper which makes an otherwise plain bra look more pretty.

The bra feels so lovely that I am going to keep it, and will probably wear it into a Bravissimo store, to give a good starting point for a proper fitting session where I can get a second opinion to help me find an even better fit.

Edited to add: after a couple of wears I am still very happy overall. I did start to feel the wire on my fullest breast side digging in after a full day of wear. It was digging into the ribcage, not the breast tissue. I noticed that the wire is actually a half inch shorter than the casing so, as I prefer a low central gore anyway, I pushed the wire round so that it comes higher up the side and lower in tbe middle. I will put a stitch in the centre to keep it this way, and make a note to myself to look for models with a low central gore but a higher side wire when I go shopping.

This is hands down the most comfortable bra I own. Panache does not make plunge variants in H+ sizes, so I had to sister size up to the 34H. The band is stretchy, but extremely firm. It feels splendid! I'm surprised how comfortably the band fits, considering it has only two hooks.

The cups are much of the same; excellence. They have a nice stretch lace across the top, with reinforced lower cup panel. It gives just enough to accommodate without falling to do it's job. I get a really lovely round but natural shape in this bra. The center Gore is low enough that I can wear ... a v- neck, but high enough that I don't feel like I'll spill out.

Some other wonderful things about this bra are the gold findings. I'm also enjoying the basic nature of this bra. No frills or bows, only simple straight lines which vanish under t- shirts. And since the back has a plungy shape like the front, I can bust out my low back shirts!

I'm so glad I bought this bra, and I would recommend it to everyone who can try it.

The bra runs very snug and 1 cup smaller
Im a 33 under bust, and 40 over bust, I regularly use a 32 G
I sized up both in band and cup. I regularly use a 32G and I bought the 34G.
I must say this bra is absolutely gorgeous, and an every day bra in a neutral color, that allows me to wear it with white T-shirts and blouses.
this bra is fabulous for my needs. I'm short (I'm just 5´2 1/2 tall), I have wide, high root, shallow breast. and this bra fits me really wonderful! ...
Exept, is not much of a plunge on me, the gore fits me more like a medium gore (but that is because I have a high set of breast)
I like that the straps are fully adjustable and firm, you won't need to adjust them so tight.
the wires are wide, but not long(at lease, not as long as cleo's, which I find too long and painful for my frame. This bra offers great support. One of the features I liked the most, is that the armpit area is reinforced, if this is a trouble area, Idina will keep it under control, the bra is also fresh,and it doesn't shows dark nipples under white shirts, I'm pretty pleased with that feature.
I'm not a fan of metal loops in bras, but this bra is so great that I don't mind those loops at all!
The only thing that could make this bra better, would be a a wider band with a third hook!

I adore this bra!!! It is my favorite that I've found so far. I was looking for something with a stretchy cup to make breastfeeding easier, and this fit the bill better than any actual nursing bras I've tried. The band is a bit loose, I would have preferred a 30, but sadly at this point my Idina is so stretched out from almost-daily-wear that my measurements would be far from accurate. The center gore tacks amazingly and the wires are the perfect width for my breasts. The shape is very uplifted but with more of a "natural" shape. The only issue is that at times the wires can get pushed down below the root, due to me physically moving the bra throughout the day to breastfeed and my long torso.
I have a long torso and close-set, bottom heavy breasts, and this bra is perfect and the picture of comfort.

I've tried a few sizes of the Idina plunge now, and it fits me very strangely. It's close in a lot of ways, but doesn't quite work for the shape of my breasts.

First thing first, it runs small in the band and in the cups. It's not unusual for me to end up in a 36 band because of my v-shaped back, but the 34 hurt and created huge underarm rolls. As others have said, definitely consider going up a band size and a cup size.

The Idina is a beautifully made, relatively plain bra with pretty details. The copper-toned hardware is a nice touch, and the lined lace ... is soft and comfortable from the beginning. I think I must be exactly between cup sizes in this bra. The E was too small all over. I had some quadboob that the elastic at the top of the cups seemed to make worse, and, while I liked the side support, the wires were definitely sitting on breast tissue under my arms. The F, though, feels too big in several ways. The wires are (finally) in the right place to contain my wide wide roots, but now there's gapping at the top of the cups (although the elastic helps) and the cups are deep enough that I can't fill the bottom, either.

The gore is quite tall for a plunge, and while I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate that as a feature, it's not comfortable for me. While I don't want to let go of a bra that has wide enough wires, I'm giving up on the Idina now. I wanted to like it, but it just doesn't work.

I personally don't find this bra too physically appealing, but I wanted to try it since I wanted something unpadded and in a beige colour to wear under white shirts. Other than the brand tag, there's no decoration at all on the bra. I do like that they used copper coloured findings, I think that colour goes great with the beige. The band fits great, but the underwires are too wide and the cups feel slightly roomy. On my smaller side, it's quite obvious that the cups are too big. I noticed that the top portion of the cups has an inner sling. ... I'm not sure if that helps with any shaping since it doesn't extend to the bottom of the cup, or if it's just there for reinforcement.

The top edge of the cups are actually stretchy, but because of the edging, I'd say it's not as flexible as the Panache Andorra Full Cup (5675) . Even though the cups are too large for me, they gave a pretty decent shape. I would describe it as slightly sloping on the top part and rounded on the apex downward. The shape is definitely rounded, but not orb-like and not highly lifted, a bit more natural in that sense.

I'm still figuring out my size/shape preferences, and Idina was recommended to me by a user over at r/abrathatfits It is indeed my best-fitting unlined bra so far, even though bratabase will mark it as not fitting. I have very slight quadding (I shift my shoulders the tiniest bit and quadding disappears), and there is some very slight wrinkling in the bottom of the cup (took me a while to even notice it). The band is tight, but fine with an extender.

After wearing it for a little while, I start getting a little pointiness to my shape that isn't there when I first put ... it on... I think it's because the cups are a bit small and I'm escaping a little at the sides. I'll have to re-S&S periodically.

I think this bra would fit me really well in a 36DD, but that size wasn't on sale so I only got the 36D to try. I think the tightness of the band might be due to the cups being a little too small. I'll have to wait to find out, as I can't spend money on a full price 36DD just yet.

I have a pretty fair skin tone, and this color (Latte) is a near perfect nude match for me. In the right size, I think I'd up the comfort from "good" to "excellent."

For reference, I'm projected, short/narrow root, a little wide-set, slightly outer-full, even vertical fullness, and I need some immediate projection.

Material: Firm lace with light mesh lining on the band and on the bottom and upper outside of the cup. There's not a lot of give compared to other bras I've tried. Pretty smooth and non-itchy with smooth edges everywhere (no scalloping or lacy edges).

Band: Runs tight. I've got it on an extender and it feels snug but fine, but it would be uncomfortable without one. And calculators normally recommend me 34 bands but I prefer to sister-size to 36s. 1/2 inch spacing between hooks (if you're considering using an extender).

Wires: Panache wires, so very stiff. There's lots of room in the wire channel to slide them around (about half an inch). U-shaped. They're not quite wide enough for me, but again, I think if I went up one cup size that wouldn't be an issue.

Gore: Fairly short (it is a plunge), but you can also make it feel even shorter by sliding the wires down in their channel.

Cups: 3-part seamed cup. They squeeze me a little on the outside (which I also got but even worse from Freya Fearne Plunge Balcony), producing a hint of bullet-boob that gets worse the longer I wear it (again, too-small cup is probably exacerbating this). Seems to have good immediate projection--maybe too much for me. There is an elastic band across the top of the cup; I might not have any quadding at all if it was simply the edge of the lace across the top.

Straps: Comfy and a little stretchy, but still feel supportive. They might be too narrow for some, but I like the width. They're also nicely close-set... I have broad shoulders, but I don't like the feel of wide-set straps. These hit right where my shoulder bone meets my traps, which is exactly where I want them.

When I first got this I like my 34G - Panache » Idina Balconnet Bra (6961) better but then that one got a little small in the cup and this one still fit. Now I seem to have gained a full cup size since I bought this and it's quadding at the top edge. Sorry, no new pics, the ones linked here are from when I first got this bra.

This one gives a more rounded shape with a little less projection than the Idina Balconnet. It's not a very plungey plunge and not the best for center full and FOT shapes. Still, it served me well as an everyday bra for some time.
